A cool game store that was clean with clear rules and guidance for safety. They had a station for hand sanitizer and masks at the entrance which was nice. There was plenty of parking in the lot too. We got what we came for - Riftbound trading cards.

So I will start off by saying this is my first time coming to this location since the last time I have been, it was still on Magnolia. Love that the space is much bigger so that more people can come together! Lots of space for more merch and games for sale. They have rooms you can book ahead too which is nice. The place is way bigger than the one on Magnolia.. it almost feels a little boggling to walk through the various shared spaces and hallways! Lots of tables. And you can walk in and get lucky with snagging a table by checking in w the person at the counter. But I believe they started taking reservations because it gets so much more packed now with more people coming out. I will admit tho that I really enjoyed when it was still on Magnolia. I jsut liked that it wasn't huge and it felt cozy with the booths upstairs. It didn't seem so daunting walking in, I felt like everything had its place and was easy to navigate. Maybe I jsut need to come out more to the new location but I wish there was a way to section the bigger rooms so it doesn't feel like a cacophony of noise, especially when it's packed. I suppose I'm partial to the first location because I went there so often... this new space feels foreign. But I do enjoy the various rooms, it feels expansive. Just wish it could have some of that coziness from before. And maybe they could have more ventilation because it was quite stuffy in the room we were playing in. Otherwise, the staff are great and super friendly. Definitely will consider coming back in the future !

Whether you're into board games, TCGs, RPGs, or love delicious tea- do yourself a favor and visit Geeky Teas & Games. I rarely get up to Burbank, but today I had some time to kill so I finally dropped in. Wow- I have never seen such a massive game shop! Tons of private rooms in different themes to rent out for gaming in a labyrinth of decorated hallways. They have every game imaginable. They sell British teas and snacks as well. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and make everyone feel welcome. I can't wait to return with friends and get our game on. Thanks for the chat, Xander and Tyler!

Stepping into this local game & tea shop on a rainy afternoon felt like being transported into a vividly realized series of alternate dimensions! From the moment we entered--greeted by a cozy blend of Doctor Who & Christmas decorations--it was clear that this wasn't just a shop, but a meticulously crafted experience! For a modest eight dollar fee, the world of board gaming was at our fingertips. Housed within were gorgeously themed rooms from a mystical fantasy themed forest room with a stunning wooden door to a swashbuckling pirate ship room. The atmosphere was incredibly immersive. We felt a palpable shift in energy entering the eerie séance room with a large round Ouija board table. We were charmed by the wizarding room and the Bilbo Baggins Lord of the rings party room complete with a detailed food mural. While the resident cats were tucked away napping because of the rainy weather, the sheer amount of merchandise & miniature painting supplies kept us captivated. However, the experience wasn't without a brief moment of friction. The serene environment was momentarily punctured by a tense encounter with a staff member, a man with glasses , who sharply corrected us for momentarily leaving the drink fridge a jar for just a few seconds. The atmosphere around the staff felt noticeably strained-- a sharp contrast to the shops otherwise magical atmosphere. Despite the odd flash of tension, the shop remains a geeky paradise I'm eager to share with friends. I can't wait to return when the cats are active and the otherworldly rooms are buzzing with gameplay! Huzzah!

If you are coming here to shop, you dont have to pay the $8 to enter. The $8 is for Game play or to use the rooms. Each time I come here, I always have to see the kittens! Theyre so cute and they're just babies! Most of the time they're sleeping, but this time, they were playing and eating. They have a very wide range of RPG books and figurines for sale. Husband says he's never seen so many. Follow their Instagram page because they had an RPG event a few weekends ago where they give out free rpgs to people who go there. I will always be returning!

Geeky Teas & Games, we re-meet again in the city of Burbank, but this time on a new block... Bigger and bolder with even more fun and wonders to explore from the full parking lot #Upgrade #EvenMoreInTheBack - to the front door... Looking for the Doctor/the Tardis? You can find it inside right when you open the door to this new lavish Geeky Teas Cavern along with a huge shop, check-in/register area, tons of rooms, tables, hidden gems and more. This board game spacious cafe house has it's signature green walls, game filled shelves (beyond tall), loads of hands of deck and that same nostalgic feel from it's Magnolia Blvd/Lincoln day, now on the corner of Alameda Avenue/Main Street - with The Original Yaki's Teriyaki Bowl in front and some small neighboring businesses next door. GT&G is still very much the main star of the show as the biggest and main spot in this unique plaza. They're definitely making this longtime 818/San Fernando Valley place in a new spot feel just as inviting as before. A veteran/women/lgbtq+ owned safe space with free Wi-Fi (see postings in front and near the entrance) is very much forever open to all. You'll definitely see families, chosen families, friends, acquaintances, significant others, and all enjoying themselves. A lot of board game groups meet up here regularly and reserve tables in advance, including a group I'm in GWF (via my friends Sean and Fabrice) - an all queer board game club/group I've been in for the past few years and getting back into. Enjoyed Dixit (and not just because I always win lol), Sushi Go, other party games and learned about as well as watched quite a bit of new games from RPG to moderate and/or advanced. Some fun things to note: They prefer no outside food and sell tons of snacks here. Additional you can find local restaurants (like Yaki) close by as well. Recommend having a meal before and/or after. Outside beverages are okay, just no adult beverages. I had so much Celsius, which I believe they might also carry here now. I brought my own, but the cold fridge with all the bevs had a lot of variety. Extremely ADA compliant and even more room the ever to navigate and enjoy your gaming experiences. It's $5 a person, and you can sign up for their points/rewards system for occasional perks/discounts/freebies. Geeky "T" & Games sells board games, board game pieces, collectibles, role-playing accessories, clothing, loose leaf teas (but of course), posters and all sorts of fun stuff available to purchase before, during or after your Geeky adventure. Incredible staff, including someone I quite fond of and have known for years, who I didn't realized worked here and felt bad for distracting him for a hello doing non-stop amazingness helping his fellow GT & Games crew, all the customers and multi-tasking like no other. Go Reid! Go! Cool themed roomed and places throughout - so much more to explore! Weekends are absolutely the busiest with peak hours seeming to start around 230/3pm and beyond - plenty of space, but do recommend Open all the days in a week from Noon until 10pm Monday through Thursday, Noon to Midnight on Friday and as early as 11am on weekends (Saturday until Midnight, Sunday until 11pm). Check out their website for events, deals, discover their full inventory and to link up with their Discord. Stop in, tea, game, converse and have some fun!

This board game place is huge inside, and the establishment used to be a grocery store. It's literally a heaven for nerds here, so many collections and rooms for tournaments. It is hard to find parking in this shared plaza over the weekend, it took me a while to find street parking as it's limited as well, and another inconvenient part is no food or drink inside this tabletop game store.
