Turning Point in Moorestown is a little different than Turning Point in Cherry Hill. The Moorestown location isn't super crowded, but the breakfast that I had in Moorestown wasn't that great. I had visited the Cherry Hill location and thoroughly enjoyed the Nutella Dream, which is banana bread French toast with Nutella drizzle and strawberries. The French toast was A LOT smaller than the French toast I received at the Cherry Hill location. I also discovered that my entire breakfast was cold. Now, I expected cold strawberries, but not cold French toast and even colder Nutella. Nevertheless, I ate my $11.00 breakfast item and promised to go to Cherry Hill whenever I had the time to take the extra 15 min drive. read more

Awesome experience!! Went in the second weekend they were open at this location. I've been to three other locations but this one was closer to my home so I was very excited when i saw it was coming! It didn't disappoint!! It was busy per usual but insider tip is that you can call ahead and put your name in so you definitely should because this place is always packed because it's so good!! They have so many options and can customize anything. You can order single servings of things like a side of one pancake with your eggs. They are very accommodating! The wait staff was so sweet. We had an amazingly adorable waitress that you could tell was a bit overwhelmed due to how busy it was and how the kitchen was a bit slower than normal but we didn't care because we had all the time in the world to spend time relaxing and enjoying each other's company. I had the zoodles with grilled chicken and that made it worth the visit. It wasn't an A+ for flavor, but it was very good and a great option for someone avoiding carbs or eating Paleo. The kids loved the pancakes and they have real maple syrup available upon request (at a small charge). The service was fine, but nothing to write home about. Don't waste your time or money here. You would be better off heating up Dino- nuggets. The menu looks great but the food has absolutely no taste. I had a side salad and a grilled chicken on a ciabatta with veggies. The roll was soggy, the chicken flavorless, and veggies just thrown in there just because. The wait staff is always so kind & patient. I wish there were more vegetarian friendly items on the menu. I have been to both the Moorestown location & the Marlton location. I like the layout of the Moorestown location & that it is usually calmer & quieter at the Moorestown location. Unfortunately, the last time I dined here I had a very off-putting, strange & uncomfortable experience. I requested a salad & sandwich to not have any meat on them as I am a vegetarian (& again.. not a lot of vegetarian friendly items without substitutions being made), the waitress was kind enough to ask me if I wanted extra vegetables // fruit as the sub since I was not getting any meat. She took my order to the kitchen & all was fine. The next thing I knew an older female manager starts storming over & made angry direct eye contact with me. Thankfully, the waitress intercepted her before she actually came over to "talk" to me. Her attitude was apparent that she was not going to come over & be nice to me about my order to clarify anything. She proceeded to loudly scold the waitress in front of the entire restaurant about *my* order. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I felt terrible for the waitress & also terrible for ordering my food any different than on the menu. I know that most restaurants including this one are having staffing issues due to COVID-19. With a manager like that, I can only imagine that it exacerbates the issue. Her alone & that interaction alone make me not want to return to this location. This is my favorite turning point location. The restaurant is very bright, modern, cozy, and clean. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The skillets are delicious. I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad meal. If the wait is long they have a quick service section all the way to the right. The yelp waitlist came in handy here. I joined the waitlist and by the time I arrived at the restaurant our table was ready. This was on a Sunday around 1:45 PM and I'd say the place was about three quarters full. Our table was a bit on the messy side even though it should have been cleaned before we were seated. There was still leftover crumbs and residue from water. Our waiter took our order and always checked back if we needed anything. The avocado toast was super flavorful but the toast was more like bread. It wasn't crispy or crunchy but more on the soggy side. The salted caramel waffle was the perfect eating temperature with the right amount of sweetness. The no yolks about it omelette came out piping hot and fresh. I have always been happy with turning point because you know exactly what you're getting brunch wise. We had a comically bad experience here on a Friday morning. When we got there, people were waiting inside and outside, and we were told it would be 20 minutes, so I gave them my name and number. We stood outside and watched as about three or four empty tables sat un-bussed for the entire 20 minutes. I should note that basically the entire staff was comprised of 16 year olds. Eventually I got the text that our table was ready so I went up to the front desk - the hostess and the manager were talking and I had to wait a solid two minutes for either of them to acknowledge me. When I told the hostess my name she spent another thirty seconds looking at the computer, seemingly confused. Eventually she looked around the restaurant, yelled over to someone to clear one of the tables, and then told me it would be a few minutes. I was a little confused and told her that the text said my table was ready, and she explained that the text doesn't mean it's ready, so whatever, we wait another 5 minutes. Looking around, half the tables in the restaurant were sitting there not being cleared. Eventually we were seated by the very unhurried hostess. Our server came by and told us she'd be right with us, and then we waited another five minutes. My sister was with me and worked as a server for years in many restaurants so she tends to have a pretty balanced view on these things, and she was starting to get frustrated watching all of this chaos. Our server eventually came over and took our order, and she was very nice and clearly had more hustle than the other staff we saw, but just seemed overworked. We then watched as the busboy ambled around clearing a few plates here and there from various tables, which none of the servers seemed to be helping with. I took my 6 year old to wash his hands in the bathroom and the floor of the restaurant was an obstacle course of sticky spots, slippery spills and puddles here and there. The bathroom was absolutely drenched in water everywhere, the floor was pretty much one big puddle in front of the sink. Completely dangerous (and kind of gross) situation. The food was decent, and we weren't in a particular rush so we weren't necessarily angry, we were mainly just laughing and making fun of the place. But let's be honest, it's not some dinky little cheap diner, so the level of service should be at least slightly better. I joked that it was like Lord of the Flies: The Restaurant. I get that these are inexperienced kids but if you're going to comprise your staff entirely of teenagers in their first service job, you need to at least have one adult walking around and checking up on things. read more

This was our favorite restaurant for the longest, but somewhere last year things started to change. The food is just not good anymore. Everything is either bland of has no seasoning at all. I always got the "Big Easy Benedict", that was my go-to platter, I'd always be anxious for my plate to arrive just to dig in. The last 3 times we went, the food was flavorless, potatoes were dry and tasted old and stale. The eggs were either severely undercooked, or extremely overcooked (the picture attached should have been eggs benedict, they were hard boiled eggs, literally hard boiled). The waiter took my plate back and came back about 3 minutes later... the eggs now tasted like they just cracked the egg and put it on my plate. I am a husky dude fam, I never say no to food... but I ended up passing on my plate in the end. My wife ordered an ice chai tee latte, which honestly tasted like, it was as if a spoiled banana and soap had a love child and raised it in a toilet, and then it was all served on ice. No joke, we got it replaced with a peppermint hot cocoa... which at first sip tasted like the cup still had a little bit of soap residue which mixed with the drink. To eat she ordered the Western Omelette... this was no omelette... it was eggs with onions and peppers, absolutely no seasoning and the same bland, dry and stale potatoes that were also served on my plate. It was not good at all. It was served on an english muffin that was both dry and not even warm, just stale and dry. My son had the smores waffle... which was just a waffle with chocolate syrup smeared all over and small marshmellows taken straight out of the package and placed around his plate. The waiters are nice, not their fault at all. I ended up paying for 4 eggs, old potatoes, no salt, horrible drinks and a waffle that was reminiscent to a kindercare chocolate ripoff on dough... all this for $55. We could have spent less than $10 at shoprite and gotten everything we needed to enjoy an even better breakfast. We paid for the experience, and as parents... we badly want a break and to be able to enjoy ourselves... the turning point is sadly way past a bad turning point. read more

Had a terrible experience today...but we left happy after the manager compensated us for our experience. Started off rough with excuses of "we are busy" when we watched multiple tables that came in after us get food and even finish it while we sat there empty handed. Worse part was that my friends' one year old was supposed to get her food before us and even it never came. We were left with pitchers of water and a coffee pot of coffee but my friend drinking orange juice didn't get a refill for an entire hour! The waitress literally left us for 45 minutes before checking on us so we couldn't even remind her we didn't have food till then. We were clearly forgot about and skipped over. However, the food was good and the manager made me decide I'll be back for another try. I decided to try their 9-grain pancakes which comes with a side of fruit. I'm really not a pancake person but this was pretty good. The grains really make you feel full with just a few bites; I was only able to eat 1/2 of my meal. My fiancé ordered the nacho omelette and he said it was pretty good; it comes with sour cream and salsa. I don't eat meat but I did pinch one of his nachos with cheese and seasoning and it was pretty good. I also ordered the berry lemonade but I didn't know it was going to be iced/frozen. I had to wait until it melted a bit before I could drink it; if not I'll get a brain freeze. Overall, the food was good and we placed our order without any issues. I am a brunch fanatic .... I turn into a prissy stuck up hoodrat when it comes to brunch. I want it clean and fancy and not greasy at all and this place did more then deliver. I go here frequently and am never disappointed. Their food is so good and you don't feel like a bloated grease ball when you leave. I stay away from the sweets but my girlfriend RAVES about how good they are. I go with one of their skillets but mostly the eggs Benedict which are so light and clean I could eat it before a workout. The bacon is surreal ...Their coffee is awesome too and the perfect "worth the wait" while a table opens up... i suggest a reservation. Been coming on Sunday's and waiting but not long. They have enough tables and space- even when we had a group of 5. The coffee lovers get a carafe and they enjoy the organic coffee. I love the fresh squeezed OJ. I have also enjoyed the raspberry cooler. The menu has inventive breakfast/brunch offerings with great vegan and gluten free stuff. The Cali breakfast is not California it's with a Cauliflower flatbread with pesto and sautéed mushrooms and onions but then throw on some easy over eggs etc...Treat yourself to bacon pops which sneaks some apples into your breakfast...yes! We visit the Morrestown location almost every Sunday and we always have a great experience. The wait staff and food are always on point. We have to take off one star because of the way the staff is treated by the one female manager (unsure of her name). I don't know if she realizes she is doing it, but she belittles and degrades them in front of customers. They are obviously working so hard and make our experience great but you can tell it's affects them and that they are sometimes unhappy (though they have never actually told us!) . I think a few less jabs at them in front of customers would put the 5th star back. Side note: I do not personally know any of the servers but we felt compelled to write this review. When I lived in the Philadelphia suburbs in Pennsylvania, our favorite breakfast and lunch go to was Nudy's. Four years ago, we moved to the Jersey side of the Philly suburbs and I could not find an equal breakfast. Enter the Turning Point! I would recommend starting off with a pot of French Press that you press at your table when the charming sand timer empties. We love the omelettes, the avocado toast and the berry chocolate pancakes. Embarrassing. I understand with everything going on things are difficult for businesses but that doesn't excuse the utter failure of your store. I ordered at 8:11, was told it would be a half hour, arrived at 8:50, and didn't get handed my order until 10:15. It was 40 degrees outside with maybe up to 40 or fifty people waiting. Utter chaos. I checked my order for the right items however they provided me no toppings for any of the breakfast items. No butter, no syrup, no nuts, no caramel, no cranberries, and no side item of pork roll. I came back to get a refund which took almost 40 minutes to confirm you refunded me my cash. If you were unprepared for this maybe you should have stopped taking orders or not opened at all. read more
