We have been here several times and I am unsure why I don't see my review. While I usually opt for the Ladies Choice today I swapped for one of their daily specials. The Burlington Skillet. Although it was LOADED with meat, something was a bit off. It just wasn't for me. His meal was cooked perfect to order and the coffee and tea were kept full as always Cinnaminson is a clean diner with a great staff. Well lit dining area with both bar seating, tables and booths. Our food is always satisfactory and we have never had a bad experience here. Prices seem to be inching up but that is a common menu occurrence these days. read more

John was great getting us a seat for our large group. The waitress was amazing how she remembered our large order without writing it down . And she made sure we were all happy with our order. All of us were happy with the amazing food that they serve . This visit was breakfast . We have also enjoyed their lunch and Dinner. I was getting over a stomach bug and needed soup! What better place to start than a diner, and thankfully, they were open on Easter Sunday. That said, their soup of the day was a chicken noodle soup and it was fabulous! Just what I needed and had the right amount of schmaltz #ifykyk. My husband had his favorite, what he calls, chicken in a basket, or fried chicken. He said it was delicious and a large portion. The coleslaw was a bit too sweet for me, but we ate it anyway, as he'd chosen it as his side. The menu is not as large as some diners, but they had plenty to choose from. Nothing quite hits like a Jersey Diner, and Cinnaminson Diner, located off bustling 130, is a classic. The "cha-ching" of cash registers greets you at the door. The restaurant smells of coffee and French fries. The food is perfect--the pancakes were huge and piled with mounds of syrup and whipped butter (also great cook on the pork roll!) First and last time trying this diner. My wife and I were both sick a little while after we left. Servers were nice and it has an old school diner feel probably because it looks like nothings been updated in decades. I got the gyro panini and my wife got the chicken croquettes. The panini was as thick as a club sandwich with huge slices of onion thicker than the meat. The meat was ok very average. I don't know if I'd call this a panini though The croquettes were disgusting. The inside was loose and mushy. I'm convinced they weren't cooked all the way through. Mashed potatoes were lumpy and flavorless. I've been here at least a half dozen times for breakfast and the food is fine - typical diner breakfast food. The reason I stopped going here and started going to the diner up the road is because the diner up the road is friendlier. I went here with my girlfriend, and mom and I had a chicken quesadilla, it was gross and had fatty gritty pieces in the chicken. I couldn't eat it, so I sent it back. The waiter was not very friendly when I visited and I ended up having pancakes instead which were okay. I would never go back again after this experience. We enjoyed an egg white spinach feta omelette with a side of fruit (great suggestion from Rachel) and seafood scampi, a beautiful presentation as well as tasty! Our whole experience from start to finish was awesome! Rachel our waitress was on point from the beginning. Friendly, kind and highly experienced, we didn't want for anything! The interior of the diner is definitely modern and the wait staff very friendly but the cake my wife and I ordered wasn't that great. It was carrot cake but it lacked flavor and the icing wasn't the best. The French onion soup was good but $10 for two pieces of average cake is expensive and not worth it. read more

I've been on a bit of a diner kick of late, and this morning chose Cinnaminson Diner on northbound Rt. 130 in the town of that august name. It is not in a traditional Jersey stainless steel case, but still offers adequate booths and a small 5 stool counter for lone wolves like me. After ordering the Country Steak Special (chicken fried steak, 2 eggs, home fries, rye toast & coffee), I settled in to watch the action on a busy Saturday morning. The staff seemed professional and appropriately friendly. They all wore cloth masks, with some carried beneath the nose, and thus useless. Same can be said of the customers waiting to be seated. Oh, well. It is hard to be constantly Covid vigilant. Really liked my meal, however. The breaded/fried steak was smallish, but crisp and tasty. I asked for the sausage gravy on the side, because I wanted to limit the heavy calorics from that chunky white sauce. They brought out a small bowl of it, when all I needed was one spoonful. It was excellent, but less was more for me. The scrambled eggs were good with a few shakes of Tabasco, and the home fries were plentiful and nicely browned and crunchy. Java was strong and bracing, and I appreciated that my request for milk resulted in a small stainless pitcher of moo juice, rather than mass produced creamers. The joe was included in the cost of the meal; a nice touch too often forgotten in the 21st C. This was the best of my recent diner experiences, and helped reaffirm my historic enjoyment of this meal style. read more

Hope falls short. It was late and NJ is known for having great diners, so they say, so after a night of go kart racing across the street, Cinnaminson Diner seemed like a good place for some grub. The menu options were many as expected given that it's a diner. Service started well, my large party was seated quickly, the waitress was personable and friendly while the entree portions were enormous. I ordered the Eggs Benedict without the hollandaise sauce which looked certainly looked pretty good plated. The poached eggs was ok as was the Canadian bacon. The English muffin underneath was rather ordinary. The fried potatoes with onions and peppers was very incredibly under seasoned and lacked any flavor as a result. The playing of my dish certainly looked full as were the plates of my fellow dining companions. But looks are deceiving as the total quality of each dish was less than desired. Service was very distant when it came time to pay as I waited an exorbitant amount of time to get my check. I had to get the attention of another employee behind the counter to get my waitress's attention. Even worse, after she handed me my check, she never returned to get my payment. I had to again wait and get the attention of another employee to have her return. If I didn't know any better it was as if they didn't want me to pay at all. If I was supposed to pay up front, which I figured after the fact might be the case, I certainly wasn't told to do so. Another employee returned to the table to ask for my tip amount verbally without my check. After stating my tip, I was handed back just a total receipt, with tip included, which was just a little weird. read more

The last time I was here I had the Crazy Dave omelet and my wife had a veggie omelet with Spanish omelet sauce... We both had green peppers and onions on our potatoes... My food was very good and the portions are a good size... I've also had ordered from the lunch specials menu and their burgers are great... My first time trying this diner and I would say the food were ok. I got the meatball Parmesan sandwich and the breakfast steak and eggs with a side of the pancake. The meatball parm sandwich was lacking sauce so it tasted a bit dry. The sandwich came with a side of fries and a soup. As for the steak and eggs breakfast, the steak was cooked well even though I asked for medium-rare. I did enjoy the pancake. It was a huge pancake and it tasted yummy. The food came out at a reasonable time and everyone was helpful and nice. I will come back to try other dishes on the menu next time. read more

We were sat right away, the hosts were really nice. Service wasn't very good, didn't bring out any waters and would just drop things at the table and run away instead of asking what else we needed. Our entire table got breakfast and the food came out cold. The toast was rock hard I'm assuming because it had been sitting out for so long. Sausage was barely cooked and no syrup for french toast. Now when I arrived to pick up the order I was waiting for a hostess and another customer came in behind me. When the hostesss came out she asked the gentleman how she could help hom, I said excuse me I was here forst and am waiting she ignored me and again asked the other person what she could get him. My father's car broke down and a gentleman (didn't get his name but said his family owns it) not only let us borrow jumper cables but also came out to help us, staying with us until the car would start again. He was incredibly nice and even helped my dad get his car started again before heading back to work. My father is over 80 and I just happened to be in town so it is comforting to know if he is dining there again and anything happens, he will be helped with kindness and understanding. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. The customer service is above and beyond what one would usually expect.. Tonight doordash left one of my main courses behind and when I called the diner the individual that answered the phone admitted that it was her error and drove the missing items to my home. I just picked up half a breakfast. The bill was over $9.50, last time $8.50. Last month the same breakfast included 4 sausages. This morning only 2 sausage....WHY??? Higher price for less. I normally dont waste my time writing reviews but here goes. Something has definitely changed here. Ive been going here for about 4 years and have not had a bad meal. Today a very different story. Service is always good an friendly mostly attentive depending on who you get. Today was lunch - was in the mood for either a gyro or a tuna melt. Went with the Gyro (first). When it came out it was on overly thick dry and not warmed pita bread (Greek gyros the bread is normally warmed or placed on a grill to freshen it up). Or if Turks, a doner kebap bread is warmed as well. The tzatziki sauce was literally thich sour cream with some finely diced cucumber - no flavor no herbs no nothing - bland. The meat was literally paper thin with perhaps 4 paper thin slices on the sandwich. Loaded with letttuce and some chopped tomato. Asked for extra tzatziki sauce (sour cream and cuke) not knowing it was b ought not made). First bite, the pita was dry, thick and beginning to crack/crumble - only taste was the bread and lettuce. Second bite same thing - zero flavor! Beside beside being paper thin (no lie) the meat had no flavor. This was sent back - waitress looked at it and agreed - she then tells me they changed supplier on the meat. She then says how about the tuna melt - I ask how the tuna is - she's not had it but people say its good - i try it. Out comes the open face tuna melt. each half was spread about two thirds with tuna one slice of tomato that covered half a slice each and the swiss. The tuna had been placed on the flattop and literally fried on said flat placed on the rye, then the cheese was melted. Again the tuna was literally fried and hotter than the fries. I looked at the waitress she looked at me, i showed her how it was prepared and only 2/3s spread with tuna and that went back. 20 minutes later another came out - it looked better however once again the tuna with mayo had been fried on the flat top to gett it hot - again as hot as the fries. Took first bite - hot full of mayo and smally diced celery - this must have been purchased as well from a supplier. Tuna salad was bland - lifted the cheese and hot tomato to salt and pepper which helped somewhat, took a few more bites then put it aside as my stomach started to ache. Waitress was nowhere to be found. Walked up to the host, told him i wanted to pay my bill - he asked how the food was - I told him it was awful - told him about the gyro, then told him about the tuna melt. He said thats how they make it - they put the tuna on the flat top - I said to literally fry it? No wonder I got sick from the mayo being heat with the tuna on a flat top. I also told him the tzatziki sauce was simply sour cream with finely diced cuke - he said thats how it comes in! I said maybe you should teach someone how to properly make it with yogurt, garlic, dill/mint lemon juice etc. As I was leacing some smart ass blond waitress in a pony teail yelled have a nice day - I bit my tongue. Had to stop at the next Wawa down the road to do what I had to do from their fried tuna and mayo. Don't waste your time at lunch time - either the cook or their suppliers - but nowhere near what it use to be. Im done going at anytime. There are plenty of much better diners on 130, read more

Went here because my regular diner has closed. The outside looks a little worn and not like a diner. Inside was "clean" like a diner. The wait staff was attentive and quick. They serve Pepsi products I prefer Coke. No alcohol. I ordered the French onion soup ... Was horrible ... No taste at all!! My one son ordered a turkey panini ... Was just a turkey sandwich on a roll ... Very dry and no taste My other son ordered bacon egg & cheese on a bagel .... He liked it but was an omelet not fried eggs. I ordered a Reuben panini ... It was a regular Reuben with corned beef .... Was ok The fries were heavily cooked in oil. The total bill came to $40 .... Not expensive at all. I will not return to this location.
