Called to make an appointment last week for therapeutic massage after a neck & back injury/concussion, but was told in that conversation that they were not contracted with my insurance company for massage. Today, I received an appointment reminder text and an email to complete new patient paperwork. When calling to make sure that there wasn't an appointment scheduled, Autumn answered. Autumn, replied in a condescending tone, "you did make an appointment". When I tried to explain that I did call to make an appointment, but was told they do not accept my insurance for massage and would not be covered. Last week, I had told the scheduler that I didn't want the appointment since I didn't want to pay privately, nor out of network. I did not get a chance because Autumn cut me off at the start of my sentence, stating, "I'll cancel that for you, have a nice day"!, then immediately hung up on me. It wasn't in a friendly way, it was in an inconsiderate and arrogant manner, within 3 seconds then disconnected. I'm positive that the way she handled the entire situation, that she intentionally hung up on me. Unprofessional and unprovoked. If this is how you treat customers, then I would not want to be seen at this location. I'll be sure to share this experience with anyone looking for therapy.

She even let me know that the practice would take the hit and cover the portion my insurance was supposed to cover for my splints if insurance decided not to cover it. I was beyond impressed with this place and would have recommended it to anyone and everyone at the time. It is rare to see a practice go out of its way to make sure its patients get the proper care, even if it affects them. However, after my experiences with the front desk, I do not ever plan to return. I received a bill that was over $100, which was not a surprise, and I was fine with. I had, however, asked to see the itemized receipt on multiple occasions and was not provided with this information as I had asked. One of the receptionists I spoke with the most about this itemized bill seemed to get very distracted easily. Before the itemized bill became a problem, he asked for my Instagram, and after I said no, he continuously flirted with me. I just tried to stay friendly and ignored it since he didn't show any harmful intentions. His flirtatiousness had only become a problem once the issue of the bill had arisen. He said he would communicate with my hand therapist about this bill and what items were charged, and he never once got back to me. I ended up paying this bill without an itemized receipt, which was very frustrating to say the least. After I had finished my therapy, I had come across another issue. Another receptionist had told me to ignore the bills I was getting in the mail, as I had already paid all of my bills. So I did, then found out 2 years later I was sent to collections for an unpaid bill. I had reached out multiple times to Bonney Lake Highline PT and even left voicemails with no response to find out if I was sent to collections or if this was a scam. I ended up having to go directly into the office to discuss this with one of the receptionists. He had confirmed that I was sent to collections and showed me the bill. I asked him to talk to his manager about how frustrating it was for me to be given so much misinformation. Fast forward to today, when I call collections, I find out my bill is nearly double the bill Highline sent in. I asked them to explain. They said that it was the full bill they had received. They hadn't added anything onto the bill, and we figured out together that Highline had shown me the wrong bill when I went in person. Once highline had sent the bill to colelctions they wouldn't have kept that in their reccords and so they would not have the bill to show me anymore. It has been a few weeks since I asked for the situation of being sent to collections to be brought up to the manager. I haven't received any communications or so much as an apology. I am beyond disappointed with their services and continuous miscommunication.

I always hated going to PT to just get pushed thru exercises and sent home with rubber bands. These ladies treat the body as a whole, using all sorts of awesome modalities like Craniosacral and Bowen (NST), as well as traditional PT methods.
