Very clean and affordable. We needed a spot close to Tracy for the weekend and this was perfect

    Nice shady spot

We really enjoyed our week long vacation here. Our spot was perfect with plenty of shade. It was nice and quiet for the most part until a few campers showed up for the holiday weekend. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Camped overnight. Ended up camping next to a large loud group which is never pleasant. They were up and making noise til way past midnight. Got up early to find that the bathrooms had not yet opened up. They were supposed to open by 6:30 and maybe by 7:30 they got around to it. Folks were friendly and sites were spacious which was nice. Hook ups all working well. Beautiful location with a beach on the river. Quite nice.

An idea of what the campsite and area looks like

It's not the ABSOLUTE WORST but it's not the best either. It could have been mediocre but like everyone says on here the staff is pretty rough to put it mildly. Once you talk them off the ledge they are more accommodating but in general you definitely feel policed the ENTIRE time you are there. The biggest downfall is the lack of full hookups at every site. We had to disconnect every other day and conserve a lot to dump. However there is NO FEE TO DUMP ONSITE (another earlier review states there's a fee). Most sites don't have sewage hookups but they do have water and electricity. There is no cable but not an issue because why are we watching tv instead of visiting with each other while camping? We did not use WiFi-T-MOBILE has decent service so most data needed was capable form hot spots and phones. The private boat launch and separate area in the park to park your boat:trailer is a nice amenity but beware...LOTS of blue algae and blooms on the bottom and visible in the launch area especially. The first day we got algae wrapped around the prop so badly we had to remove the scoop grate to untangle it. Once on the river be careful of sand bars and shallow areas. There is also a visible homeless encampment under the train trussle that well...you just don't know what's being dumped into the water.

On our 4th visit here, think about that for a second. Why would someone stay some where over and over again? Let me tell you. Great location, Friendly Staff, and a Well Managed RV Park. Check in is easy. Pull up to the gate, stay in the right lane, and push the call button. A ranger will answer and drive over shortly to check you in and guide you to your site. Some things to know, this is a Thousand Trails park, You will be required to show ID, Proof of Insurance and Current registration. ( its a rule that all TT parks are susposed to follow ) Next Only half the sites are full hookup the other half are Water and Electric. If you are camping here the onsite Dump station is Free. (they do not have a honey wagon). You can ask to be put on a list to move to a full hookup site when one becomes available. Or youu can dry camp but why? Its that simple, Just show up get to your site and relax. And yea, some bad campers that have been problems have written bad reviews because they are just, well, BAD. Don't be bad, come camp here with a great group of great RV'rs.

Sunset on our walk of the river.

Turtle Beach is a great place! Everyone there is super nice including the permanent residents! All the bathrooms are clean including the portable ones! There is a clean beach like spot that leads to the San Joaquin river, and it's crystal clear! The park it well kept! They have camping and rv spots! With COVID it was super easy to check in and out! We were able to leave things outside even overnight. I would definitely recommend Turtle Beach if you want a peaceful non-city vacation but still hop skip and a jump to anything you will need!

I came with my parents and 2 kiddos (5 yo and 1 yo). The breakfast buffet has gotten better and the customer service is noticeably better than we had experienced in the past. The ready to order eggs and omelette are yum. Something for everyone. My baby loves the fruits. Overall resort is clean and feels relatively safe. It's not unusual to see kids wandering around alone and lots of parents around keep watchful eyes out. It's definitely a resort more for the kids, so bring your inner child. The magiquest game is so cheesy, but my kiddo and husband enjoy it. Lots of kids play it, so you'll feel like you're missing out if you don't. We always end up doing more activities than we initially plan, so next time we'll probably look into trying one of the bundle discount passes. Personally my favorite part is that the water park is indoors. You don't have to cross your fingers for good weather and you don't have to wear sunscreen. I mobile order the lunch and eat inside the water park so my kid can stay in her suit swim still soaking wet.

I asked for a Pina Colada. She brought back an island colada. Made with mango. I said that's not a Pina colada. She said its an island colada, that's what everyone gets. I said what if I was allergic to mango. She said, if you are don't drink it. I said I'm not, but what if I was. I told her I would accept the drink since it was already made. I let it go and took a couple of sips and set it down between 2 lawn chairs and went on a slide with the kids. When I came back it was tipped over. I paid almost $30 for this drink. You could see the line on the cup that I had not drank much of it before it spilled. So I went back to tell them that someone spilt it. It was not long after I purchased it. She said unless one of the employees saw what happened, then there was nothing they could do about it. Then I asked for her supervisor. When she came she said they could give me a discount. I asked how much would it cost. I ordered a dbl Pina colada. Then I saw the girl who made the drink tell her she didn't make it a double. She said the discounted price was $35 big ones. That's more than I paid for the first one. I'm not paying $65 for a drink. The wolf lodge makes plenty of money. I wasn't the one who spilled the drink. 8 hope the lifeguards are paying attention to the kids not the drink. I believe the supervisor was named Dez and the bartender was Alexis. If you are going there to stay overnight. ADULTS BRING YOUR PWN BOOZE. DO NOT GO TO THAT WASTE OF $ CANTINA. The cleaning ladies deserve a raise. I was not going to pay a total of $65 for 1 lousy drink that was not only wrong, but spilt by someone else. I told them forget it. We stayed there last weekend May 17th to 18th. It was the 18th when this happened. Room 4112.

I purchased a 2023 Sun Tracker boat from Bass Pro Shops in Manteca and unfortunately my experience…read morehas been extremely disappointing from day one. The boat had ongoing issues immediately after purchase, and despite multiple attempts over several months to get them resolved, the problems were not properly addressed. After significant delays, the boat was finally inspected and a hole in the console was discovered, which was allowing water intrusion into the vessel. I brought the boat in for repair expecting a resolution, but when it was returned, the condition was actually worse. Components were loose, poorly fitted, and the overall workmanship was unacceptable. The original issue was not fully resolved, and additional problems appeared after their service work. At this time, Bass Pro Shops in Manteca still has possession of my boat, and I have been unable to get any clear communication or updates despite multiple attempts to follow up. My calls are not being returned, and I'm being left without answers or a timeline for resolution. To make matters worse, the warranty service department has stated that the issue is not their responsibility and that it falls on the dealer, who they believe caused the damage during service. I am now stuck in the middle with no one taking responsibility, no repair progress, and no clear path forward, which has been extremely frustrating and concerning given the cost and seriousness of the purchase. At this point, I am extremely concerned about the quality control and service standards. For a major purchase like a boat, I expected far better support and accountability. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves how warranty and repair cases are handled for customers.
