The RV parking is ia short walking distance from the river"s edge (hence the name) and it has two fire pits you can use till 0100. There's a male and a female bathroom (with showers) and an RV dump station too. Check-in was easy, a simple phone call, then a text message that links you to payment options and a reservation confirmation took all of about 10 minutes from start to finish. The town is small but quaint. They have a restaurant, bar, ice cream shop, and a cute little fire department. Here's where the review kinda Lost a star... Around 9 pm there were several gun shots... And again at 0120 in the morning.. Not entirely sure what's going on, but that bothers me... Call me weird, but as a solo (female) van life camper hearing gun shots near your camp site isn't what you want to experience ... Honestly the RV campground was good, but the crazy person(s) firing off weapons was something I could have done without.

Unfortunately, the same attention doesn't seem to be given to basic cleanliness and maintenance. The public restrooms and showers were unacceptable. A paper towel sat on the bathroom counter from the time we checked in until the following day, making it hard to believe the facilities were cleaned during that time. The showers themselves were dirty, but the worst part was one of the rubber shower mats. It had been flipped over, exposing a thick layer of black mold covering most of the underside. Seeing something like that in a shared shower is both disgusting and raises serious questions about how often these facilities are actually cleaned. The park does have some positives. The grass is in decent shape, and compared to many RV parks in the area, there were relatively few stickers for our dogs to pick up. Unfortunately, the overnight sprinklers ran long enough to soak not only the lawn but also my outdoor mat, even though it was sitting completely on the concrete pad outside our RV. In the end, what I remember most isn't the rules or the grass--it's the dirty showers and moldy shower mat. If management spent as much effort maintaining the facilities as they do enforcing park rules, this would be a much better place to stay

It is mostly for long-term guests, and it had a waiting list when I talked to them because it was the busy season. I drove through the property and really liked it. Everyone was very friendly. Not many amenities, but we had our full hook-ups and use of the bathroom facilities which is really all we needed as we were out most of the time. The park is super close to downtown which was a plus. We had issues with our power as we had to convert from 50 to 30amp, but I think our rig was just too powerful which is not the parks fault. Everything else was great! We were told there is a cool hiking trail and creek but we did not experience that for ourselves. Definitely a cute little spot to stay close to town!

The RV Park is very spacious as are the RV Spots! We had so much room around us, it was amazing! The RV Park is so peaceful, it really was nice to sit outside at our table and relax.
