This is our second year in a row coming here for vacation. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The concierge desk located inside is very helpful as well. The pool is always clean and the bartenders especially Christina is fantastic. Have a mini hot tub and a mini kiddie pool. Cabanas all around for anyone who needs the shade with plenty of chairs also in the sun. The food quality is great actually for a pool bar (mozzarella sticks!) and the prices are very reasonable. Must try the Malibu buckets (our fav is the Big Bucket $12.50). On Thursdays and Fridays they have karaoke night great for all ages. The rooms are always spotless and if we've had any issues they've always sent a maintenance person right away. They also have their own DVD rental machine in the lobby for free. They have a gym fitness center that is small but gets the job done and does not smell and is very clean. We have used the machines without any problems. Also a tv inside. Only negative is that with the room there are a few items missing; sponge, washer & dryer cleaning supplies, and a spatula. Other than that our room at least has all necessities like - pans, silverware, plates, cups, dishwasher, dishwasher detergent, coffee machine, measuring cup, blender. The only complaint is that the neighbors, i think they live there- building 8, room 8306, young guys with scooters, were having the LOUDEST, most obnoxious and vulgar S*X all day and night. what a dump! We asked for roll of toilet paper half way thru our stay and they flat out refused. Elevators not working and I am here with my husband, a disabled Vet. Club house closed every time we tried to contact staff. Ice maker not working. no coffee filters provided. there's a lamp that is a fire hazard due to the parts being broken. Literally one of the worst places I've ever stayed. They also charged hidden resort fees in excess of $172.00. For what??? that is one very expensive roll of toilet paper! This resort is pretty terrible. Upon arriving, we got to our room to find the most dated accommodations ever. The couches/chair are so old there is literally dir and grime embedded in them. We took sheets off the bed to drape/cover them before we were willing to sit down. The "queen" bed in our third room is 2 twin beds smashed together and they aren't even the same height/size. The bar/restaurant is "closed for renovations" and the closest place is a mile walk. Website insinuates they are minutes from Disney - what a joke... about 25 min from Disney and 45 from universal. If we weren't here with such a large group and it was easier to get rooms elsewhere, we would have turned around the minute we walked in. Oh, also - there was a shower curtain (yes, you read that correctly) IN OUR BED, UNDER THE SHEETS. What the actual f*ck is that?!? We immediately called for new bedding, which took forever. This is the worst resort in the Orlando area - do not be fooled by the website and stay elsewhe Update: 4 days later, we are checking out and still feel the same way. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels and when we asked for more, it took 4 hours to get one roll - so we ended up buying our own supply. When trying to cook dinner for ourselves the first night - we realized there is extremely limited utensils (no frying pan, no oven trays, no spatula...). We also had lights out in both bathrooms and one lamp had no light bulb at all in the bedroom. The room "sleeps 6" but only had 4 dining room chairs. Do not stay here. Facility is horrible. No response from management from phone messages and emails. Refrigerator leaks elevator broken for one month so far. We help my neighbor they had a flood coming out of the light fixture in the bathroom because they didn't speak English. Furniture from the 70s. Great place to stay for cheap cheap. Well, not dirt cheap, but we found a last minute deal here for a Disney trip. It was two bedrooms, one full bath, large kitchen, dining area and living room for $100 a night; not bad. This would be an ideal place for someone staying more than a couple nights in my opinion. We really didn't utilize all of the space it offered, but I could see a larger family cooking here, hanging out and taking their rented car to the parks. It's not as luxurious as some of the pictures I saw online, but it's pretty nice. Our unit was clean and updated. It had the basics: towels, dish detergent, soap, cheap shampoo. Please do not visit this resort. I made the mistake of booking this resort based on false advertisement, and had the worst vacation of my life! From the very beginning, Andre the Supervisor was extremely rude and unprofessional. He thinks that he can speak to anyone a certain way because of how they look, as if they are beneath him. Then, lets talk about the charges. FACT: You will be charged $20 a night for "amenities". I live in Vegas, and even we do not charge anything like that! FACT: You will be charged $60 for a cleaning fee BEFORE you inspect the room. PLEASE look at the photos as proof. I walked into dog feces on the balcony, soiled bed linens, soiled couch sofa, and the maid dumped a large bag of linen outside of my door that I almost tripped over for no apparent reason (they DO NOT have daily cleaning service). Please also keep in mind that this "resort" does not provide any shuttle services to any of the attractions nor are they anywhere near them as their website suggests. read more

Prepaid this reservation from Priceline and was first blindsided by needing to pay an additional $206.61 at check-in for fees that apparently aren't included with what I paid thru Priceline, which includes a one-time housekeeping fee of $60 to clean up the place upon check out (So yes, you'll have to be in charge of cleaning up yourselves during your trip and don't expect additional trash liners, detergents, cleaning supplies, etc..., you're given whatever meager supplies in your "welcome kit" and you'll have to buy the rest at the local Publix or store). Fine, maybe I missed some fine print or whatever, I was in little position to argue since we prepaid and didn't have funds to go elsewhere and wait for a refund. For you debit card users, you'll also have a $300 hold placed on your account, so I can just imagine the shock on other unwitting guests that check in here. So, now short over $500 that was supposed to go towards a more pleasant Disney vacation, I was reduced to having to feeding my family PB and J sandwiches at the parks and eating instant noodles back at the room to mitigate the unforeseen costs. Got to the room and the stale smell of mildew hits every time you walk in. Walking on the somewhat damp motel-grade carpet in the room by where the washer and dryer is, I first thought "OK, maybe the carpet was recently shampooed and the housekeeper did a rush job and that's why it's a little damp and that's why the air smells a bit". I then realize while running the dryer for the first time that it produces moist air all over the area, probably because the dryer isn't venting like it should and all that moist air is probably causing the place to smell like a dank locker room. The room had six sets of towels, which are not replaced (see the above statement where you get no additional ANYTHING during your stay), so you have to wash your towels for reuse, which would be fine if I had a dryer that wouldn't blow hot moist air into the room and take forever to dry things. For those that need to sleep folks in the living room, the furniture is pretty dated, to include the sofa sleeper (the mattress on ours was pretty worn and thin). My advice to you: bring an air mattress with or buy one somewhere. Some other negative things to note, though understandably not the hotel's fault: You get no cell reception there (thank goodness for Wi-Fi calling) and the location hits some heavy traffic on the 4 (we'd be heading back from Disney around 5-6 PM and it could take up to an hour to get back to the hotel because of traffic). There's some positives to this place: the room has value if you need lots of room, there is a full size modern washer and dryer for all your laundry needs, full kitchen to cook meals, things that are typical in a small two-bedroom suite in the Orlando area. But I really can't get past the surprise of having over $500 unavailable when most folks probably plan to the penny on what to spend Disney vacation money on. Had I known what I was paying for, I would have vested more funds at the start and rented elsewhere. read more

First of all the condo owner can't provide sufficient materials. My family and I stayed 4 nights. We were given 1 dishwasher pod and 1 kitchen towel. I requested the owner Erika for more dishwasher pods and she claimed that the 1 was sufficient and if my family required more then it was our responsibility. Now Erika knew our reservation consisted of more then 5 people...it's obvious 1 pod isn't sufficient enough for 4 nights of dishes. Also, her condo is on the bottom floor, which meant her neighbor was above us. All 4 nights her neighbor was extremely loud...sounded like we were staying under a bowling alley. Do not stay here. Rooms are disgusting and the service is bad. Furniture is outdated and some of the basic condo supplies are not available or hard to get. The location of this resort is great. It's close to the parks and has many restaurants and supermarkets near by. I'm giving it two stars because our room was disgusting! The bathrooms were not cleaned as there was dust and grime on the sink and in the bathtub. There was mold and a foul odor coming from the drain. The blankets and pillows also smelled bad. The kitchen had dirty plates and cups, broken pans, and rusted knives. The beds were also very uncomfortable. It's very unfortunate that a resort with so much to offer is so poorly taken care of. I'm going to give it a 4 star only because of the front receptionist Betty. When I say she deserves the best position in this place she does. Betty was the only person who made my family and I feel like staying here, because we had some issues with other employees here, most of them are so rude that made us wanna leave, also the people downstairs where we were staying kept banging on their ceiling because I have three kids and obviously their on vacay,but Betty assured us it's resolved. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. We got here and the gate key barely worked to even get in the resort and then our room keys barely work. The sheets on the bed were gross. And to top it off our key cards didn't work because the DEVICE IS TAPED ON. And then when we called their hotline (because all of the front people had left for the day) all they had to say was "you have to go around and find someone." Then when we did find a security guy he had to use a wire to break into our hotel after waiting and trying for an hour. Easy to find location and near Champions Gate. Close to shopping and plenty of eateries. Not so much walking distance but close enough for a quick drive. The staff was prompt and friendly at check in. We headed to our condo within minutes upon arrival. Drove through security gates and arrived at the condo which we were on the top floor, 4. They have elevators for your convenience. Try bringing up coolers of food and luggage up 4 floors, no thank you. We arrived to the condo and opened the door to a beautiful well cleaned room. Full size kitchen, washer and dryer, eating area with a dining table that seats 6, a living room area with a TV and plenty of seating on 1 large couch and 2 chairs with a balcony view that had a table and chairs outside, master bedroom with attached bathroom and walk in closet with a queen bed, second room with a queen bed, a third room with two twin beds. All rooms had dressers and closets. The two bedrooms on the other side of the condo share a bathroom. All rooms had there own Tv's. The room didn't have much as far as toiletries. Found a few bars of soap too wash our hands and dish soap but not much else so come prepared. They have a coffee machine and stocked us with coffee, decaf and teas. There is NO daily housekeeping that is included in your price so keep that in mind and tell everyone to clean up after themselves. They charged us a cleaning fee upon the completion of the stay. This place is an alternative to a hotel for a large family or multiple family stay. I do like my daily housekeeping and a fresh towel daily but do like the other amenities that made me feel like I was at home. read more

Quite disappointed. All photos of this resort that we had seen showed the two bedroom suites having one full size bed and two twin beds. This is not the case. We had a party of three adults and our suite had two full beds and a pull out couch. Which we could have dealt with had the pull out couch not been dirty and had chewed gum stuck to it. We had to pay $150 to upgrade to a three bedroom suite. Our three bedroom suite had some issues. The shower door was off the track and very difficult to open. The second shower was clogged and the slow drain left the bottom of the tub pretty nasty. The shower spigot was falling off the wall. The carpet had crumbs and ants on it. We attempted to vacuum but the bristles on the vacuum do not spin and it did not pick up. One of the bedroom lamps had wires sticking out of it. Both the toilet paper and paper towel dispensers were broken. The kitchen chair was ripped. Our key cards constantly became "demagnetized." We had to replace 3 keys within 24 hours of checking in. The trash dumpsters outside of our room were over flowing with trash. Animals opened up the bags and garbage was everywhere. read more

I had booked a suite for July 3-5,2022 at the Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston. I had paid for it in full. Upon arriving, I was told that the fee I had paid to Snap Travel did Not include house keeping. I was instructed that if I did not sign that I would be responsible, I would forfeit my money for the room and I would have no place to stay for the two nights. We didn't use the amenities at this resort. We stayed two nights but only for the bed. We were upgraded to a three bedroom, that was nice. The staff was friendly at check in/out. Now, what needs to be improved and I did tell the front desk upon check out is: The master bedroom air conditioning vent did not work. The first night we thought it was just because the vent was turned off. The send night was just as hot with the vent opened. However, my kids were freezing. Second, the water pressure in the master bathroom was horrible. Third, the sink disposal and drain was broken, and who ever stayed in the unit before us filled the dishwasher with dish washing liquid. Good thing I saw that before starting it, we would have had a bubble bath in the kitchen. It was as if someone was playing a joke on us. Fourth, we walked to their only restaurant in the morning hoping to have breakfast and it was closed for renovations. And last, very noisy, we were on the second floor and the people above is was super loud, as if they we stomping to annoy us, which I'm sure was not the case. Over all, the apartment was clean, the bed comfortable, and I liked their complimentary coffee. I'd be willing to try this place again as long as they make some upgrades. read more

We recently spent two weeks at this resort. Positives The rooms were spacious two double beds with on suite bathrooms, the rooms were clean and tv in each room. The location is ideal for Disney as it's only about 5miles from the Disney junction. Negatives The biggest problem with this resort is the fact they add extra charges of $19 per day for "facilities" and and additional $60 cleaning oh and another $59 for insurance all topped off with sales tax. Just when you thing you have budgeted for your holiday Tuscana add $370 to your expenses in a decisive and unclear manner. They are not transparent about these charges and are set to sting you - BEWARE. The restraint food is basic and expensive, you get much better food from Chillis off the resort. The electrical items in the room were coming close to their end of life, rusty washing machine and cracked microwave. The shower drain stunk and the bathroom fan/vent was rusted and in need of replacement. We were on the 4th floor and the lift button was intermittent meaning we often had to walk. The pool area was ok although the spa had rubbish in. So in summary the resort is ok, over priced for what you get especially when you add in their Hidden Extra Charges that they claim are clear on check in "although it was never explained to me" and even if they were you are held hostage because you are there! Best Advice I can give - avoid unless you like being taken advantage read more

Dismal! We booked a 2/2 room, it was somewhat dirty, we had 6 people staying and there were ZERO extra pillows, towels and linens. We called front desk and were told by housekeeper there were absolutely none on the whole property left. They charge an additional 68$ cleaning fee, where that goes I will never know cause we had to clean up when we first got there. Oh the Tv in the living room works fine the TVs in the bedrooms are useless, no service no boxes no nothing. The walls are paper thin we could hear our neighbors above and next door the whole time. May be affordable but not worth the headache. Dont ruin your vacation stay somewhere else. read more

I just spent a week here and I thought it was great, it is not a huge resort but there pool and overall general area is very pleasing to the eye and very quant ....only complaints is the drain in the sink wasn't working and towards the end of my trip, people came to stay upstairs and they had a child that was either on a sugar high 24/7 or something idk but you could hear them running back and forth for like an hour straight and even in the middle of the night but besides that I was very happy and getting updated to a three bedroom was lovely, done and my family will definitely be staying again read more

This resort is absolutely the worst. My first night I arrived at 2am and of course the lobby closes at 11pm so there was no one there to speak with. My 2nd bedroom blinds were broken and did not have a drape to pull to block the morning sun. Also, housekeeping obviously swept the trash from the bedroom into the closet (inside the closet) that was used to store room décor, towels randomly hanging from the shelves and an almost empty bottle of dish washing liquid, sponges, etc. all in Walmart bags. The entry door had a screw handing from the pad and the lock pad was detached from the door which did not lock and the baseboards were filthy. Of course I complained the next morning and was moved to another room which was considered an upgrade (a 3 bdrm). This room had the same issue with the door, this time the screw missing completely, the door was detached at the bottom as if it was pushed in by the police, the 2nd bdrm TV did not work at all, the thermostat was stuck on 63 for 10 hours, and again, the baseboards were filthy, the washing machine smelled like mildew, there was a roach in the master bedroom, there was a stain on one of the twin beds in the 3rd bdrm and there was trash outside of the front door under the staircase next to an empty trash can and the room phones did not work. They bought another phone in and stated they had to call the phone company......The phone company for a hotel room? On the third day I realized that the staircase was obviously where the guests stored their trash and where they let their animals use the restroom because there was another pile of trash in addition to the first pile and also 4 empty Coors beer cans next to a trash bag and dog sh*t. All of this was mentioned to the front desk. They sent maintenance to put a screw in the door and clean the room (on the 2nd day). The screw was still hanging out when I checked out. As for the washing machine, I asked for 8 sets of fresh towels the next morning before leaving for the parks and was told that they would be placed in the room. I received 5 INDIVIDUAL towels (2 face towels, a wash towel, a dry towel and a floor mat) 5 towels for a room that had 8 people. I wasn't able to get more towels until the next morning when the lobby opened and at that time I was told to use the washing machine. I had to remind them that the machine smelled like mold. (after that day, I stopped every morning fro clean towels) As for the stained sheets, housekeeping bought me a bag of sheets as if I was supposed to change the linens on the bed myself. And someone picked up the dog mess. Of course, I took pictures of everything and was compensated for my 1st night stay. This resort if horrible. They couldn't give me a week free stay at this resort. The pictures are very deceiving. ALSO! I was offered 3 free gifts at the time of booking and only received one which was a $5 Starbucks coupon...I'll be sure to follow up to let you know if it's honored. On the others, the email stated they were unavailable and to respond to the email for a replacement. I'm still waiting............This was a 5 night stay. read more

If I could give this resort a zero I absolutely would. I've vacationed to the Tuscana 2 times before but I guess 3rd time is the charm. Sheets and couches were stained, fridge and freezer were broken, overhead lights were out, no on call maintenance at night, toilets barely flushed, and to put the cherry on top - our key card reader on our door was taped on with electrical tape and we were locked out at midnight after visiting the parks and the "security" guard gave attitude while he had to break into our unit. His response to us asking what the protocol is if he is unable to get in and he has no answer. I'm a bit shocked at our experience. The photos online are beyond deceiving. Past the entrance is a run down, poorly maintained facility. The rooms are furnished with old and cheap furniture and paper thin walls. Rented from an owner through a property management co. Condo was perfect. Clean, updated, plenty of towels, sheets, paper products, kitchen utensils etc. Unfortunately, the care and maintenance of the grounds, is clearly lacking. At least one front gate was left open the majority of our 17 days here. It appears the out gate is damaged. Cars go in/out thru that gate so as not to use their gate card(provided they even have one). Guard is only there overnight. The restaurant /bar is being "renovated". I was told by several owners that it closed due to a rent increase that the restaurant owner believed was excessive. It's been closed since 1/2019 and there is no renovation underway. But, guests are now permitted to bring their own food and drink into the pool area. Glass bottles and glass cups were everywhere. On two occasions the garbage can was overflowing. There is absolutely no supervision of the pool. No life guard, no attendant, no one. Used towels are everywhere. There is no AED, no first aid, nothing. Hopefully a guest knows CPR. At times it's like a frat party. Loud radios. Footballs and tennis balls being thrown one end to another. Complain? Good luck. You can drop off your kids and go have lunch. No one would know Lastly, I watched as the landscapers used leaf blowers to blow grass shaving,leaves, paper and cups into bushes. My car was covered with leaves and grass. Leaves and mulch constantly cover the walkways. Grass was cut and leaves cleared once during our stay. This was our fourth year staying here. Don't see too many reasons to return. read more

I just stayed her on a business trip. I stayed 2 nights. I had a late check in and was greeted with a friendly smile and smooth check-in process. My room was really clean and smelled fresh. I had a quick spark up on their free WiFi. This hotel is a bit outside of Orlando and not in the thick of Disneyworld, which is so great when you're not in the area for vacation! The prices was extremely reasonable and ran my company only about $120/night. There was a full kitchen, which I didn't use at all, but was nice to have under other circumstances. You can't compare this hotel to an upscale hotel, but overall, if you're in the area and don't need to be directly in Orlando, I recommend this hotel, which is nice for the reasonable rate. Would be a great place for families to say. read more

Not exactly what I expected to find upon driving in. Rooms are large with full kitchens, living and dining rooms with of course, Tuscan decorations. Finishes are nice, marble, leather etc. however they have no wifi, tube TVs with no ability to purchase movies and no cell service inside the room. I'd rather have a cheap looking room with modern technologies, but I'm in my 30s. The gym is large in size but has only 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals and 3 bikes. One 10 pound kettle bell, is all the weights they offer, so if you're looking for strength training, do it in your room. They supply no hand towels or paper towels, so if you drip sweat in humid FL weather as I do, expect to leave looking like you jumped in the pool. Also, the maintenance guys use the gym as a hallway, so you get a bunch of dudes staring at your bounciness the while time. VERY ANNOYING. Pool and pool deck is large and has full sun in the morning. Overall, okay stay but there's no way I can conduct business here with the lack of technology. read more

This review is for the restaurant portion: The bartenders and waitresses look like they have seen better days. WE are local so we've tried the place about 3x. NEVER EVER AGAIN. One waitress actually made a comment about the box on the table and the "box" my husband will be getting at home at night! They only care about their friends (other locals) who come visit them at the bar. The food is terrible. The salad was wilted BOTH times I tried it. Store bought dressing. The fish and chips are fish and french fries. The wings were like rubber. The shrimp/pasta dish has NO TASTE. Everything was horrible. Apparently it's near a swamp so people always complain about the mosquitos. They are awful. I went home with about 100 welts on my legs. Terrible all around. read more

Made two complaints to the front desk and to the guests themselves and said "if you want relaxation go somewhere else. We are on vacation". Currently they are remodeling the unit above ours. The walls shake, the ceiling lights rattle so badly I swear one is going to fall, it's so loud that my 2 ur old cries, the cat is hiding and vomiting everywhere. (Actually that stopped because I took her to the vet and she now has a weeks worth of anti-anxiety medication.) I have to wear earplugs in the unit and take my 2 yr old on an hour and a half drive every day so she can nap. It would be great if they weren't doing construction 5 feet above our heads. And it would probably be bearable if there was some type of insulation vs the space acting like an echo chamber. Others than that, it's a good place to stay. Just call ahead and ask if any remodeling is taking place. And avoid building 1. That's the "loud" building. (Restaurant and karaoke noise) read more

Hidden fees when booking. They charge like 80$ for cleaning & 20$ a day room fee. I need to cancel. Could've booked a way nicer hotel for this crazy amount of money. They don't deserve to get away with hidden fees read more

We purchased our stay through Expedia. It averaged out to just under $100/night. The after hour check in didn't go quite as smoothly as I was assured by staff that it would. They have a 1 hour window between when the night guards leave and office staff arrive... Which is of course when we arrived. We had paid for a 1 bedroom unit and were upgraded to a 3 bed/2bath unit without additional charges. I was told this was because it was the only unit available. The unit itself was nice and clean. The kitchen was minimally stocked with plates Bowls cups glasses and flatware. It did include some basic countertop appliances such as a coffeemaker toaster , and blender. The problem was that if I really wanted to cook a meal I would've had to go out and purchase every herb and spice necessary because there were none in the unit. They didn't even have filters for the coffee pot. We were provided with two cycles of dishwashing soap. While the unit had a washer and dryer, there was no laundry detergent. Minimalism is the key word here. Each of the three bedrooms had a television in addition to the one in the living room. The remotes to the bedroom tv's had dead batteries. Also, the unit had a wifi router, but it never worked. The unit was noisy. I can hear freeway traffic as well as the air conditioning units when the windows were closed. That being said, it's super close to Disney if that is your destination. read more

This place used to be a beautiful place to visit, Service sucks tremendously.... Ac went out twice they won't send people to come to send to help you. Don't want answer there phones. Just completely unacceptable for a Resort.. read more
