They were able to take our group of 8 with a phone call. Upon arrival, they had our table set up. Service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food can out quickly. We all got different things. Everything looked good. I had the crab appetizer for a light lunch and it was so good.this is a classy establishment and we all enjoyed ourselves.

We have been here couple of years before and back then I didn't really liked it, but my husband insisted to give it another chance. I would give 3,5 stars, actually. The restaurant is composed from 2 spaces : one with the bar( more casual) and second is more formal with white tablecloth nicely served tables ( opens at 4:30) The waiters are very attentive, but it's takes a while to be serviced. This time for starter we had honey glazed pork belly ( a bit too much glaze , which is kinda killing the pork belly taste) then I had fillet mignon ( came medium rare with blood first time, after I asked to cook it till medium came a bit overcooked) my daughter chicken & fries ( she is always happy with) and my husband had beef & scallops, paired with a glass of wine and followed by creme brûlée and cheesecake. Food was fine, nicely plated, but in my opinion is a bit overpriced.

Recently, my husband was asking about other restaurants in Leesburg, wondering if there are any good ones that we haven't tried yet. So, I started looking around online and came across "Tuskies," also known as Tuscarora Mill. Although it has been around for years, we never thought to try it. This was partly because it struck me as an upscale establishment where one had to dress up to be there. It turns out that, despite giving off an upscale vibe, there is no dress code. We saw those who dressed up to attend, and we also saw those who showed up in shorts and flip-flops. We were here on a Saturday for an early dinner and had a reservation for 5 p.m. However, we arrived early, and they had no problems seating us. We were taken to a small side room that had about 5 tables in it. Our table was a 2 top that was spacious enough, as it had plenty of room for all our food. We also had a window view. Our server was an older man who was very well-versed in the menu. We were impressed when he rattled off the daily specials without using a cheat sheet... well, only towards the end of his recitation did he have to check his list. We started with drinks. I had a mango mojito, which was well-made, as I could clearly taste the mango in it. My husband had a Michelob Ultra. We started with an appetizer, "Heirloom tomato and burrata" which consists of: "dill tomato vinaigrette, red onions, basil, pine nuts, aged balsamic". The star of this dish was the heirloom tomatoes. We could tell that these were freshly picked, as if they had been picked up at a farmers' market. There was no red onion, which was fine with me, and the pine nuts were tiny and easy to miss.. We were also given some bread that our server said was baked fresh at a nearby bakery. The bread was good, and we chose to use the olive oil that was on the table. It turned out to be a bit too bitter, so next time, we both agree, we'll ask for butter. For my main course, I ordered "Grilled Creole seasoned trout," which consists of: "lump crab meat, almond butter, whipped potatoes, asparagus, carrots, and capers". Our server asked if I wanted one or two pieces of trout. I chose to have one piece (which turned out to be a good idea). The crab meat portion was tiny. The trout was properly cooked and seasoned just right, as none of the seasoning overpowered the trout. The veggies were sautéed and tender, with a flavorful taste. The capers were really tiny, but I was able to get them onto my fork. My husband ordered one of the daily specials, which was a 15 oz. New York Strip. The steak was very flavorful, but it had too much fat and gristle. Overall it was disappointing. We both had some crème brûlée for dessert. It came with a snickerdoodle cookie and is topped with fresh strawberries. One thing that disappointed us was that the crème brûlée lacked the flavor of vanilla beans: it was creamy, but bland. Prices are rather high for this venue.

My husband and I treated my parents to a fancy night out at Tuskies while they were here visiting from England. Our meal was amazing, our server was incredible too and made the evening even more comfortable. The restaurant gives the best ambiance and we were all just happy to be there. Only feedback is that the spacing between the courses should have been longer..... we were still eating our apps when the entrees arrived which was annoying ..... also, the bacon on the Pork Ribeye entree was very flabby and should have been more rendered and crispy so it would be more palatable. We know now to make a point at asking for a long time between courses when we visit next time. And there WILL be a next time

Probably the best upscale restaurant in Leesburg. Professionalism, white table clothes, servers with ties, and nightly specials. The grand restaurants continues to not only survive but excels. Last night was no exception. I had the smoked chicken rigatoni and my spouse has the halibut special. Both done as expected which was great. Server was a seasoned pro, great drinks, loved the evening,

I was greeted by a customized menu here for my anniversary despite booking that morning! It was such a thoughtful touch! The food was great too-- we loved the wedge and crab cakes. The scallops were tender and perfectly cooked. The au jus was super flavorful and the perfect dinner sandwich. And to top it off-- the cheesecake beignets were light and creamy! Great date night spot with a large wine selection! Will be coming back for more

After a very long drive, we arrived earlier than expected and the staff was accommodating to help us get seated since we were so tired and hungry at that point. We enjoyed our cocktails and meals. Service was quick, but not too hurried, and friendly. The bread is soft and warm. We started with the goat cheese app, which was decadent and delicious, and the lobster app, which was light and flavorful. I had the trout, which I enjoyed and he had the rib eye, which he liked. For drinks we had the Sweet Baby Rye and the Catoctann - we couldn't decide which we liked best, they were both so good.

A most excellent experience! We went for a casual dinner and I would say the interior was like an upscale bar and grill (think: dim and romantic lighting with wood and leather decor). I noticed there was another room next to ours that was bright and garden themed. Our waitress was awesome- and took such a great care of our son's girlfriend who has to avoid quite a few foods. When we asked about gluten free plates, she even made the distinction between Celiac's and GF in general. This restaurant was one of the best in regards to dietary restrictions and guidelines with many options. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and cleaned their plates- but the service commitment to the small details - that was incredible!

If a place executes its vision at a high level and exceeds expectations for its lane, that is a 5 star experience to me. And this meal absolutely did that. We relocated to Northern Virginia a couple of years ago, so we have been exploring the dining scene here with fresh eyes. Since moving, we have visited The Wine Kitchen several times, and each visit has been consistently impressive. They are truly a gem in Leesburg. We went with the pasta tasting menu and it was an outstanding, technique driven progression that really showcased the kitchen's command of fresh pasta and sauce work. The pasta itself was the foundation of the experience, clearly house made, with impeccable texture across every course. Each shape was cooked to a true al dente, with that ideal balance of tenderness and bite that only comes from properly handled fresh dough. Nothing felt heavy or muddled, which is no small feat in a multi course pasta progression. The mushroom tortellini in brodo was beautifully restrained. The broth had deep umami from the mushroom parmesan base, yet remained clean and structured, allowing the delicate tortellini filling and chestnut mushrooms to shine. The truffled Alfredo could have easily gone overboard, but the richness was controlled, silky, properly emulsified, and well seasoned, with the truffle supporting rather than overwhelming the dish. The lobster ravioli was another technically strong plate. The pasta was thin and tender, the filling sweet and delicate, and the crab fat sauce added depth while the ginger Calabrian soffritto brought a subtle lift of heat and brightness that kept the dish from feeling too rich. The short rib rotolo delivered deep, slow cooked savoriness, balanced nicely by the ricotta and the earthy luxury of the truffle fonduta. What really made the dish stand out for me were the crispy edges on the pasta, which added a beautiful textural contrast to the tender filling. For dessert, we enjoyed the tasting menu dessert and also added the cornflake French toast. The French toast completely wowed us. Texturally, it was outstanding, crisp exterior, custardy interior, and that nostalgic cornflake crunch elevated into something refined. It had richness, sweetness, and contrast in all the right ways, and ended up being my favorite of the two desserts. Overall, this is how you do a pasta focused tasting menu with finesse, strong technique, thoughtful balance, and flavors that feel indulgent without becoming heavy. In its category, this was a 5 star experience for me, and I would absolutely come back.

We stopped in on a Friday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We were seated immediately, which gave us a chance to take in the restaurant's charming farmhouse aesthetic. With its high ceilings and rustic décor, it feels like a modern take on an old country farmhouse that's warm and inviting without feeling overdone. As an unexpected bonus, we happened to visit during Restaurant Week, and the special was an incredible value. It included a Buff-Mosa, deviled eggs, and the Low Country Biscuit. My wife ordered the Southern Philly, so we ended up sampling a little of everything. The Buff-Mosa was a refreshing way to start the meal. Made with Blue Ridge Vodka, Cava, and strawberry-watermelon juice, it was light, crisp, and not overly sweet. The deviled eggs were topped with bacon jam, which added a nice savory touch. They had a bit more mustard and horseradish kick than I'm accustomed to, but they were still delicious and packed with flavor. The real star, though, was the Low Country Biscuit. It was absolutely enormous, stacked with perfectly fried chicken, chunky pimento cheese, and hot honey. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the combination of the rich pimento cheese with the sweet heat of the hot honey was outstanding. The honey added just enough spice to complement the sandwich without overpowering the other flavors. I also tried a bite of my wife's Southern Philly, and it was fantastic. It's a creative Southern spin on a classic Philly cheesesteak and one that's definitely worth ordering. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One fun detail I really appreciated was that the check is presented inside a book, a small touch that fits perfectly with the restaurant's farmhouse theme. Between the outstanding biscuits, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent service, Buford's Biscuits delivered a fantastic breakfast experience. There are still plenty of menu items I'd love to try, so we'll definitely be back.

If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll.
