We went here to spend a day with friends and play games. We all had dogs so we wanted a dog friendly indoor and outdoor space where we could enjoy the weather and each others company. I'm glad we picked this brewery since it had all amenities we were looking for. They have a good selection of food and tons of very reasonably priced drinks. They also have food trucks outside that serve food till 6 pm. The brewery is open till 10 pm and last call is at 9 so no one is rushing people out at sunset. There was also a wedding the day we were there which was so lovely! We got tacos and hot dogs which were great. We also got the dreamsicle frose and a bunch of beer flights to try. We sat inside earlier in the day when it was hotter since the dogs would be uncomfortable in the heat but at 5'pm the weather got real nice so we moved outdoors. They also have an alpaca which the kids went crazy for and also lots of goats. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time outdoors with the option of moving the party indoors if needed. They also have live music indoors which we really enjoyed. read more

First time here today and from what I could see the place was great. Today was chilly outside so being outdoors wasn't in the cards today but I do go outside to look around. A ton of outdoor space with extra seating, playgrounds for the kids, and the oyster cooking spot for those who enjoy seafood. Inside there are three large areas for people to sit and there seemed to be enough space for everyone. Prices were reasonable with a 6 beer flight being $18. The only food I had was a hot dog with chips but they have other offerings including pizza, BBQ, and other snack my fare. The beer itself was pretty good too. Lots of variety which is the top most important factor for me. Only two sours though so perhaps at some point there could be a few more. We'll see! read more

There are great indoor spaces and beautiful outdoor spaces so vanish is perfect for any day and any weather. They have great food, amazing drinks, and generally a great vibe. Plenty of inside and outside seating. We stopped in for a quick bite and a cold beer. The beers hit the spot. I tried the whrexam red and my wife tried the watermelon mojito sour. The low ranking was for the food. We've had the pork nachos in the past. It was loaded with pork, jalapeno and cheese. I got the Cubano and it was really tasty. I was worried the ciabatta bread would be too tough but it was soft and flakey. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and was disappointed because it was just frozen chicken tenders, not fresh fried chicken made in house. The Mac and cheese was good. What a fantastic brewery! Beyond just having a large selection and great tasting beer, they also have solid food options (pizza, pretzels, fries, and more). Vanish had a lot going on with a lot of seating and multiple rooms each with its own vibe. One room had live music, another was more laid back and kid-friendly (conveniently by the bar) they also were very dog-friendly. They have a beautiful and expansive outdoor area with numerous picnic tables and a playground for the kids (or maybe you after a few of their delicious beers). BLUF: On nice day when it's not too crowded, Vanish is a nice setting to hang out with friends, family, kids, & pups. Food is middle of the road...some good, some not so great. Good beverages. Funky food ordering & pick up system. Huge venue with lots of outdoor space & decent indoor space. Outdoor picnic tables are kind of well-worn. Kids play area for the younger ones. The food: some looked good. Others like the bar snacks, were expensive for the small portions and surprisingly low quality fast food like. Basic burger consists of a single piece of an iceberg lettuce, a thin slice of tomato, a couple small rings of onion, and an overcooked thin premade sor hockey puck, disguised as a burger patty. Have a feeling the wait for food is only because of the large number of orders coming out of a single prep area. Also seemed like the food was premade, & assembled rather than cooked fresh. My burger & fries were cold & hadn't been sitting on the counter for long. The grilled/bbq food might be better tasting but a lot more expensive. The booze looked good & refreshing on a warm day. Nice to have the option yo listen to luve music indoors & be able to sit outside without music. And, the play area for the younger kids was definitely a hit. An enjoyable venue to hang, but I wasn't sold on the food. Worth the drive? If you're curious and want to check out what's brewing & you want to drive a.bit into the boonies & can tolerate traffic during peak times, then sure. Will I be going out again any time soon? We were already big fans of Vanish Brewery, so when it came time to plan my Aunt Tanya's 70th birthday party, we knew it would be the perfect spot--and it absolutely was! We hosted the party in the Arcadia Room, which was such a great space--comfortable, super stylish, and perfect for gathering with friends and family. Think cozy speakeasy!! The A/V setup was a great bonus so we could enjoy family photos all day!! The whole event was a hit from start to finish. Huge thanks to Jonathan and Hilda, the amazing owners, for making Vanish such a special place. Anne, the event manager, was a dream to work with--super helpful and made planning a breeze. Big love to Sally and Joey from the event staff who took such good care of us during the party, and to Drake, the manager, who kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. The catering was excellent, and everyone raved about the food. The kids had a blast running around the playground and exploring the toy shop, while the adults loved sneaking off to the Oyster Shack and the Vintage Camper Boutique for a little fun of their own. Aunt Tanya felt so celebrated, and our guests had a truly wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better place--or better people--to help us mark such a special occasion. Very interesting brewery with great beer options and decent food. As you drive up to the parking lot, the location feels a bit strange with old and delapitated buildings. However, once you get inside it's a massive indoor and outdoor space. The menu has plenty of great beer options. Basic brewery food but they appear to have food trucks on weekends. Live music was amazing and it felt like a lot of people were singing along. Cool merchandise. Clean bathrooms. Just an overall great experience. Would love to come here in the Fall! read more

The beer was excellent- each was pretty true to its style. La Hacienda 5%ABV (Mexican Lager) was smooth & refreshing; I'm not an IPA guy and while Fat Boys 8.5% ABV! (trad IPA) was true to style it didn't change my mind about IPAs, Midnight City 7.1%ABV (Black currant/Blueberry Cider) fruity cider, more sweet than dry- almost sangria like or a strong lambrusco; Wraith 5.3%ABV (Witbier/Wheat) very interesting and tasty- the chamomile & coriander are a great combination for this style- highly recommend; Wrexham Red 6% (Amber Lager) perfect amount of malt/tofee- best of this style I've had since returning from Europe- they've done good; and last but not least: Anti-Hero 4.8% (Dark Lager) I'm a dark beer fan at heart and this tasted more like a Porter or Stout - in a good way! Not as heavy as those styles so a perfect hot weather session beer for dark beer aficionados- definitely more Enrique Ingelsias Hero than T Swift AntiHero Bonus: Electroplasm 4.5% (Sour Ale + electrolytes) Green! slightly sweet- or at least not overly sour, delicious and perfect for this heat wave! Service was terrific and the bar food (chips with salsa or queso, pretzels cheese or hot dogs are ideal for a drinking session! The tap room was large with a very long s-curved bar seating about 12 as well as 16 well spaced picnic tables and a large open area that can accommodate another 30 people. This doesn't even address the other half of the building or the ample outdoor areas (gorgeous) I simply didn't have time to explore. If you are anywhere near Vanish you owe it to yourself to stop in and "Vanish" from the rat race for awhile. Let me say it very simply. I love this place. Vanish has really good beer, especially if you like IPAs. And they have wine for the non beer drinkers. The venue is huge. And I mean enormous. Many indoor and outdoor areas. And dogs are welcome everywhere except for the main taproom, which probably is a Virginia state law. On weekends they have oysters. Raw and grilled. The oysters are farm raised in Virginia, but are basically Virginia Salts. Briny, plump and very very tasty. I've eaten a lot of Virginia Salts. They're pretty hard to shuck but well worth the effort. Other than the oysters, the food menu looks good. BBQ, pizza and a variety of other dishes. Staff are very friendly. Stopped by Vanish Brewery recently to grab a few drinks and bite to eat and they didn't disappoint. This brewery is huge! They have tons of indoor and outdoor seating, an arcade, a mini boutique for some shopping, and a playground for the little ones. If you're not a fan of beer (I enjoyed the Strawberry Blonde), they also have a few cocktails (mixed berry sangria and spicy margarita are musts!), cider, and wine for you to enjoy. I'm from out of town and this place was recommended. It's a strange hodge podge that in some ways could be tacky-cute but is just... off. I admit beer and live music is not my thing but this place was just... rough around the edges. The menu was limited and everyone in our large party thought the food was ghastly. If you're vegetarian, forget it. The staff seem to know that the expensive beer and lackluster food is a disappointment. And at 1pm on a Saturday there were only Two people behind the bar, resulting in about a 15 minute wait for us to order. Not sure what was going on with staffing that day. We ordered some food. Do not get the hot pretzel. They should change their vendor or just get it off the menu entirely. Others in my party rated the food as decent. Great brewery! The location is big with LOTS of places to sit, indoor and outdoor. I came here on a weekday so there was not a lot of people so it felt empty, but I can see how fun it would be to be here when it's full house. There were lots of drink options and flights were priced great. The customer service here was great as well, they were very nice and helpful. They do not offer the full menu of food during the weekdays and only offer bar food so just know that ahead of time if you come here on during the weekday. We ventured out to Vanish on a weekday evening in the summer. Alot of the positive reviews seem to reference weekends, so maybe weekends are better, but the experience was bad enough I doubt we will return anytime soon. Upon arriving we were immediately alerted that 90% of the food is unavailable on weeknights. They had about 5 food items you could order. Ok, not great, but fair enough. I ordered the pretzel with beer cheese. The bartender let us know it would take about 20-25 min to make it "fresh". That sounded great to us. However, the bartender quickly became extremely behind and completely overwhelmed with people. There were only maybe 10 customers, but this seemed to be more than she could handle. She went back and forth from the kitchen twice and each time told us it'd be "5 more minutes" At the 1 hour mark, I asked her to please cancel the order as we wanted to go home. We never did get our pretzel. I do believe she felt bad, but there were many things that could have been done differently. She repeatedly said she was overwhelmed by "the rush" 2 hours before closing. I'd recommend management: 1. Make it clear on the website that the food is weekend-only 2. Have at least 2 bartenders/cashiers working at a time 3. Teach bartenders and cashiers how to manage multiple customers read more

One of my favorite breweries. They have a HUGE outdoor space with multiple areas of seating and a large lawn with tons of picnic tables. They're dog friendly, just not inside of the taproom. They have a cute little arcade that's attached to the brewery which is fun for kids, along with a playground outside. Love that they have live music and little boutique trucks that's fun for those that like to shop. What's better than shopping tipsy? Everything looks cuter! Their food selection is great. My favorite are their BBQ pulled pork nachos. Husband gets the cubano and enjoys it. As far as beverages, they have sangria, margaritas, wine, mimosas, slushies, and hard seltzers for those that don't drink beer. They offer mega flights (I believe 12 mini tasters). Go big or go home right? They have a wide selection of beers with over 20 to choose from. They often have seasonal flavors which are pretty tasty. My current favorite is the Wraith, a Belgian style wheat ale brewed with orange peel, chamomile, and coriander. It's the perfect drink on a hot Summer day with that light and crisp taste, plus it goes down easy since I'm the worlds slowest drinker. Bartenders are patient and super giving when it comes to tasting items on their menu. I love that they offer a taste of it before pouring a full size, without having to ask. Wasted a good Friday night! We came for the live music and the musician was great but we really couldn't enjoy his music because of the Chucky Cheese environment. There were more infants, toddlers and tender age kids than adults. They had a video game in the back of the room with two small boys (two different families) playing and screaming like teenage girls! At no time did either set of parents say anything to the kids about using an indoor voice. I don't mind older kids that sit quietly and play on their phones but these kids were loud and running around everywhere. Even in the performer's area, where his soundboard was located and around his tip display. One truly nasty woman changed her baby's diaper right on the table! Ewwww.... If Vanish wants to be Chucky Cheese, maybe hire kid performers. Otherwise, limit the entertainment area PG-13 starting at 5:00 or 6:00 so it can be an actual brewery, rather than a McDonalds Play Place! Sorry but we won't be back! read more

Was looking for something to do and a trusted friend recommended Vanish. I found this to be a great place, with plenty of options to offer. They have plenty of bars from which you can order, in-house and guest food trucks offering many different types of food, and plenty of spaces (indoors and outdoors), including some tailored for kids. They even have a little boutique trailer in the property. We enjoyed some live music (two bands back to back). Staff was great. Try the Table Beer or a Sangria Slushy. read more

This brewery was awesome! I love that they have so many food options and drink selections. There are different tents or areas with different food and vendors selling items as well. They have oysters, and wings, hot dogs, etc. Indoor is gorgeous. This place is very big, there are different areas inside you can spend time in and it's gorgeous inside where the brewing happens. There is another indoor portion where there is live music. I usually go here and spend time outside. There are plenty of picnic tables to choose from, some under a picnic pavilion and others just in the open field. Dogs are welcome! My only critique and the reason I am giving four stars is that it was hard spending time with our entire group because we had to take turns waiting in very long lines. I know lines are inevitable and maybe this just goes to show how awesome this brewery is! But one thing that deters me from going here is having to wait in those long lines which take away from you spending time enjoying company, the weather and drinks/food. We stopped here to check it out a little before lunchtime on a Tuesday in early June. This place is located a little North of Leesburg, VA, which feels like the middle of no where which may explain the name Vanish. The rural area looks very beautiful with all the hills, trees, old farms and homes. It was not very busy but immediately we could see this was a place to have events or group gatherings. The grounds are very expansive. I could even see them having live bands. The brood of cicada's for this year were not shy. The sound emanating from all around was almost overpowering. We saw them flying all over the place and saw many dead on the ground. There appear to be multiple areas to get food and drink. We walked in five minutes after opening and we were not the first people here but multiple people came after us. Many many people came to celebrate with us at this brewery. We got a flight of beers and sat down to partake in some hoppy happiness. Our bartender was more than happy to give us small samples of beer us before we ordered them.There was wave, strawberry blonde, pumpkin spice beer, imperial Stout, cream imperial Stout, wrath. I was a big fan of the raw wave and the wrath but I am not a big Porter or IPA sort of girl. We had some drinks and then we ordered some food. All there was was your heater and pretzels with cheese. The pretzel with cheese was good in the pizza was OK but the nachos with your on their website we're not available. So go there to drink don't go there to eat. There were a few things for kids to do so I'm not sure why you would bring your kids to a bar but that's just me. There was a dinasour that kids could climb on. All and all a great place! read more
