Man, you could have a party in here. You'd never think a place like this would exist in The Heartland, let alone in shopping plaza. The restaurant itself is rather spacious albeit plain. A row of video games ranging from arcade classics to first-person shooters fills one wall. A miniature train set sits below the front window. If you want something kid-friendly out in these parts, here you are. Thanks to our friends Jen, Larry, and their little girl Lucy for treating us to some quality cheesed-up, bacony potato skins and a titanic, puffy, crunchy "Supreme" pizza that really only suffered from not having enough of their fine, fruity sauce ladled onto it. Other than that, this square barroom brawler of a pie was 12 cuts of inspiration for the mouth and stomach. That crust was pure intimidation with its tough, brown ridges, but once my teeth punched through it as I ate each outer piece backwards, I found a nicely flaky interior that complimented all of the toppings beautifully. Larry sez to me as he and Jen dined on a thin crust pie, "Y'know, *chomp*chomp* there really ain't a wrong way to make a pizza." To think it took a visit all the way out to Tusca's Pizzeria to remind me of that. Chicago deep-dish, New York street-style, Sicilian, whatever. I've lived on Tusca for 28 years and this place has been going downhill for years but my experience the other day was the worst. Pizza was awful. No sauce on a supreme pizza and loaded up with mostly peppers and nothing else. To top it off I looked at my bank statement and see that's they added an additional seven dollars to the bill in comparison to my receipt. Never again. read more

Our first time at Tusca was a wonderful Sunday night. We sat at the bar, so we could watch football while drinking and eating pizza. The bartender was friendly and the pizza had a great taste. We both tasted a little garlic in the sauce and thought it was a great addition. We would like to go back and try the white garlic pizza! read more

Nice local place to grab a dinner with the family. We all enjoyed our meals and will be back soon. The Italian Hoagie was especially tasty even though we did have to add some extra Italian dressing. The couple slices that made it home warmed up fine the next day. read more

Tusca's is a great local establishment to me. It is right across the street to my neighborhood and is a great spot to quickly grab a sandwich from. I don't sway from either an Italian hoagie or a fish sandwich and fries. Both are great choices. If you are local to the Brighton township area this is a great spot. Is it worth traveling for? Very good pizza and nice restaurant. Not crowded with tables and comfortable. Pizza is very good.

I appreciate that it's a local business but I wasn't a fan of the pizza or breadsticks. The crust was dry and didn't have much flavor.

This rating is based on a carry out order. It was made and ready when they said it would be. I thought the crust was fantastic... soft and chewy. The sauce and cheese were very flavorful. We ordered one topping... Sausage. Finely ground pieces of sausage spread around the top. I'd say it was really good pizza! read more

Fun place in the middle of Brighton Township with fun Karaoke and great pizza and calzones. This place is decidedly not a destination on its own, but a nice little pizza joint with a full bar and amazing pizza/calzones. The sauce is magical. Not too sweet, it almost tastes like pizza huts dipping marinara. The bar is fully stocked and has about five draft beers to choose from, one seasonal. The pizzas are great, and the meatballs are to die for. The meatball calzone was possibly the best ever. The Downside is that they fail to stick with their specialties. The calamari was downright inedible. I rarely leave appetizers on the plate, but these were absolutely disgusting. Only the large rounds, and so fishy they almost make you gag. Obviously not only frozen, but of poor quality. If an Italian joint offers calamari, they had better batter or bread it fresh, or at least spring for the GOOD frozen stuff. We left a pile of inedible gumbands (minus the crispy breading) on the plate. If you do Calamari, don't half-ass it. That single app almost ruined a great meal. read more

While out with a friend, I decided to get a bite to eat here. The dinningroom smelled wonderfull and made my stomach growl. Examining the typical pizzeria menu, I settled on a pineapple and ham calzone. The forced air heating system kicked on while I was waiting for my meal, which made me think the door had been left open on a windy day. My hair and napkin blew around while the HVAC unit ran. When I finally got my calzone, the first thing I noticed was how soft and "puffy" the bread was. The bread tatsed as good as it looked. The ham with the cheese reminded me of a Hot Pocket (you can decide it that is a pro or con). However, there was entirerly too much pineapple and not enough ham. My staple drink, iced tea, was from a fountain (YUCK!). I highly perfer fresh brewed. Over all, not a bad place. If I lived close enough I'd take advantage of one of their delivery specials! read more

It is difficult to rate a pizzeria there is so many constance between one pizza and another. Some like their pizza thin, some like it thick some like pan, some like a single slice, some like a lot of sauce, and some like no sauce. I can name 5 pizzerias I just can't stand, and five more that I absolutely love. This is one of those pizzerias that I absolutely love. For a "mom and pop" pizzeria, this place has an atmosphere that says neighborhood pizzeria. Of course you can go to other pizzerias that are corporate owned for ambience, but I prefer taste over atmosphere. This pizzeria is also classified as a restaurant because of the additional items on the menu that do not pertain to pizza type products only. So if the kids want pizza and you want to meal, this is the place to go. read more

We went to my nephews football game across the street and then came over for pizza. Pizza was average, but the games for the kids were awesome. Granted, they ran around like crazy little animals until the food came, so if you don't like that kind of atmosphere I might get to go food, but it was nice to have them contained in a confined space where they could go nuts and not hurt anything. read more

When you classify yourself as a pizzeria I would expect that your pizza is at least halfway decent in taste. Can't say that much about this spot. Ive tried the thin and the thick crust and both lacked any seasoning and were incredibly bland. The thin was overcooked and the thick was just bad. Also not enough sauce on either pie. Frozen pizza from the store is definitely better. I can't say that I've tried their other food but if its like the pizza I feel I'd be let down yet again. So unfortunate that its the closest pizza joint to me. This review is based solely on their pizza and I have no complaints about service as it was takeout. read more

Just went here today for my sister in laws birthday. We got 3 white pizzas with pepperoni 1 white pizza with sausage and one red sauce pepperoni. I only at the white pizza with pepperoni. The garlic white sause is pretty good , a little to greasy for my liking though. I also got breadstix. They were good. The only complaint is a lot of the video games were either broke or not working right. read more

Atmosphere is ok, wait staff is so-so depends on the night and who you get. Appetizers are suppose to come out way before your meal. But it usually comes out 30 seconds. If you don't pay with cash they add surcharge for credit cards. For a Italian place the red sauce tastes like my niece made it, no real flavor. The pasta taste like it was reheated.
