This is the closest local park to my apartment and I come here almost every day after work. It is a great place to walk or run with over- lapping trails throughout the space amongst natural shrubs and plants. It is always very clean, peaceful, and not crowded. Free parking. The sidewalks are wide and there are benches and tables throughout the space. I also appreciate how the trails are well-lit at night. This is also a great place to bring dogs as there is a new dog park here (the dog park is listed under Bark Barracks on its own page on Yelp). This is not your typical "neighborhood park" with grass, a playground, sports fields, etc. It is essentially an open space with trails and a dog park. Be careful -- I've seen coyotes here. The park shares the area with corporate office buildings and there is also the Mesa Food Hall directly across from it. read more

Went here yesterday due to the Good Vibe market, but the market was a bit dull. Only bought some cookies from a familiar baker that I bought before, and so I saw this trail and thought to give it a shot. It's the closest trail to my apartment. It's an okay trail. I did see a homeless lady there by the dog park, but she pretty much left people alone. I continued onto the trail, but spotted two people wearing all black clothes that were right behind me. Maybe I was just being paranoid, but who wears all black long sleeve clothes in 83 degrees; and there were two guys right behind me. So I walked pretty fast, and went onto a different path. They ended up standing near a tree while one of them was somewhere else. I continued onto my trail and still saw them right behind me. Maybe they were enjoying the trail too, but my gut instinct was uncomfortable about this, so I went onto another path; and lost them. I then took an Uber to go to somewhere else. So yeah. I find this trail a bit disappointing. I'm used to going to real walking trails near Saddleback Church. But I think I may just bring a buddy with me next time. As a solo single woman myself. Great park with a nice paved trail. There's a big parking lot and public restrooms. There's also two really big dog parks (one for small dogs and one for big dogs). I'm actually surprised it's never too crowded when I'm here, I feel like this space is totally underutilized. It's right next to Mess Hall (a food hall) so it's a great spot to walk after getting a bite to eat there. read more

Tustin Legacy Park is a small park located next to Mess Hall at Flight and other corporate buildings. There's a dedicated parking lot and restrooms on-site. In terms of actual park amenities, there aren't many. There are no playgrounds, sports fields, or courts. There are only some grass and walking trails. Because of that, there are very few people here. It's good for walking dogs if you're in the area or if you're eating at one of the restaurants next door. read more

tl,dr: Nice place for some nature exposure and some adventurous eats during one's lunch break. Likes: + I love running around here after work to get my miles in. Peaceful and calm. Nice ambience away from all the traffic. + I also like the variety of food at the Mess Hall right by this park. Very convenient stop for some nourishment in between work or exercise. + Plenty of parking. + Never crowded. Non-likes: - There are almost no animals here. - So much of this Park's land remains unused and inaccessible. For the amount of land that is open to access (near Red Hill Ave & Barranca Pkwy), there is about 3 times as much land that remains closed off. I'm talking about the land surrounded by Red Hill Ave, Warner Ave, and Armstrong Ave. Please build 100 more pickleball courts! read more

I discovered this park as I was visiting the mess hall to meet the BIL for lunch. He used to work in one of these new buildings but now is work from home. Anyways, I came back one day to get the Lost Bean coffee & walked outside looking for the restroom & saw trails! Well paced pathways but also a dirt path. I'm all about my morning walks so I decided to explore a bit. It's not your typical park with playground equipment or grassy area to sit & have lunch. It's more a place if you're a walker, like me! Or need to take your dog on a walk. Or just chill to the sounds of cars passing by on the busy Barranca or Red Hill & you can even watch planes as they make their way to John Wayne airport. There's parking just for the park & they have parking near the mess hall. Everything is so close by; you can grab a coffee & go on a stroll. If I worked in one of these buildings, you'd definitely catch me taking walks here every morning & lunch time! read more

My baby my 10 pound little toy poodle was picked up by a coyote or wolf and ran off with her I chased and chased and chased and screamed and screamed and screamed just like a banshee. Everybody heard me from the buildings far away but alas coyote hopped over the fence into the wildlife area right next to the dog park - all of the parking lots and all of the whole park needs "coyote warning" signs not just two of them right next to the dog area! WTF. I'm talking all around that Park!! read more

I'm spending the weekend in Tustin and was looking for a park to go for my evening run. This property (I wouldn't call it a park) had nice paved and flat trails for walking or jogging. I felt safe. It's well lit with ample parking. There were a few other people on the trail so I wasn't alone. read more

Nice park to exercise. Restrooms are usually closed. Went there for a walk on Wednesday night at approximately 7 pm, and a homeless caucasian male wanted to fight. He was sitting on a bench with a bicycle by his side. He was wearing baggy jeans, with a black hoodie covering his head. He had a short buzzed haircut. As I was walking by, he stood up and got in front of me. He said I was saying stuff to him and wanted to fight. I told him I was going to call the police if he continued.
