Tustin Legacy Park is a small park located next to Mess Hall at Flight and other corporate buildings. There's a dedicated parking lot and restrooms on-site. In terms of actual park amenities, there aren't many. There are no playgrounds, sports fields, or courts. There are only some grass and walking trails. Because of that, there are very few people here. It's good for walking dogs if you're in the area or if you're eating at one of the restaurants next door.

I discovered this park as I was visiting the mess hall to meet the BIL for lunch. He used to work in one of these new buildings but now is work from home. Anyways, I came back one day to get the Lost Bean coffee & walked outside looking for the restroom & saw trails! Well paced pathways but also a dirt path. I'm all about my morning walks so I decided to explore a bit. It's not your typical park with playground equipment or grassy area to sit & have lunch. It's more a place if you're a walker, like me! Or need to take your dog on a walk. Or just chill to the sounds of cars passing by on the busy Barranca or Red Hill & you can even watch planes as they make their way to John Wayne airport. There's parking just for the park & they have parking near the mess hall. Everything is so close by; you can grab a coffee & go on a stroll. If I worked in one of these buildings, you'd definitely catch me taking walks here every morning & lunch time!

Hands down one of the cleanest, most convenient parks in the Irvine area!…read more There are several baseball fields, tons of gated tennis courts, playgrounds for the kids, countless picnic areas that are numbered for parties and gatherings. I think what makes this park stand out is the crowd. Any park can be beautiful but, without the proper maintenance from the park crew (and most importantly the park goers) it doesn't stand a chance. You see tons of regulars here with their dogs, families, kids. Everyone is friendly and respectful of one another. The dog crowd at this park is also one of the best I've seen. Although the park is not off leash, there's wide open areas for you to allow your fur family to play catch, run around, and have a bit of freedom! They do have a couple of posts that have doggie bags however, they run out quick so please do come prepared with your own poop bags just in case! There are plenty of water fountains throughout with water filling stations attached, so don't forget a bowl for your fur family!!

The park is located on Harvard Ave just next to the Irvine Civic Center. There are plenty of…read moreparking spaces around the park area. We visited there on a Saturday around noon. There were quite a few cars in the lot already. However, we didn't see a lot of people milling around as the park covers quite an extensive area. The park features a flower garden with a fountain near its center. Beyond that are several picnic shelters amidst an elaborate children's playground. Further on, there is a large expanse of grass area amidst soccer fields, base ball diamond and tennis courts. There are paved walk paths through out the complex that winds up and down the various terrains. Overall it's a nice place to enjoy a leisure walk!

New playground is a lawsuit waiting to happen. No stairs to slide. The only way to get to the slide…read moreis literally climbing the rock wall or scaling rope bridge. My toddler is advanced and can do playgrounds no problem but thing thing is literally for kids 7 and up. Even then it's so dangerous because there's way too many ways to fall off the play set. They do have a "toddler area" which is a small wood playhouse and wood/rope climbing area. And even that I wouldn't let my little one near because it's too easy for her to fall onto wood logs edge and get cut. Just very poor bad "modern" design. We only go cause it's walking distance and even then it's work because I'm constantly watching my daughter to make sure she doesn't fall off. Nothing enclosed at all. Truly dislike this playground for kids under 7. We've gone 7+ times and I never see kids climb to top of this playground or anything. Such a waste. Would rather make the drive to Heritage or Tustin Sports Park or literally any other park.

This was a cool little park we visited on Thursday morning…read more Parking is round the outside, on the main street, so it's quite busy. I didn't like that. Once you walk over the play area you can see that they have some really awesome and different play equipment. I liked that. There was some rubbish in various areas of the park. The older kids area is shaded, but unfortunately come 10am the little play area with the yellow and blue structure is right in the sun. There's also an area for very young kids and that was shaded. There are no swings. It's a little out of my way to come here, so I won't be back in a hurry. There are toilets.
