The person at the front desk helped me finish, like filing & cleaning the gunk from under my fingernails. A couple nails already separated along my cuticle before I got home. Kind of disappointed. It was kind of dirty & Celine was reusing tools that didn't look like they were cleaned. I was resting my arm on the UV light box & it was not clean. I have come to this business before a few times but always got basic dip powder or gel done which was good. Having that experience in my mind I visited them again today to get a dip powder manicure for my daughter, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. I showed the technician a reference design from the internet, but was told the exact color wasn't available. I then selected an alternative design, but again, the glitter used in that style was not in stock. The technician assured me she would try to replicate the look using a different glitter to achieve a similar effect. However, the final result was not at all reflective of the design we had discussed. The nails did not resemble either of the reference styles, and the overall quality of the work appeared rushed and uneven. To add to the disappointment, the service card clearly lists dip powder as $55 & up, yet I was charged $76. When I raised my concern at checkout, noting that the service did not reflect the price charged, the staff member responded by saying, "Oh, because you did a dip powder design from the internet," dismissing my feedback entirely. I've attached photos so others can see the outcome and judge for themselves. While I understand that custom designs may vary, I expected a level of quality and professionalism consistent with the price and the salon's advertised standards. After asking for a gel manicure, I was recommended adding a powder dip (which would cost more but was told it allow my gel manicure to last longer and allow my natural nail to look thicker). Literally TWO days since my appointment, and my nails have already started peeling. I have not been in water, a bath, or have even done extraneous activities! I am only giving this place two stars because of Tina for the pedicure. But apart from that, don't waste money on an organic mani/pedi - they use very little to no organic items. I think the only thing that was "organic" was the lotion? But they never mentioned any other organic products and charged $70. I am writing this review on behalf of my mom. My mom got the "organic" manicure and pedicure for $70. While Tina was doing the pedicure, another person was doing the manicure and she applied way too much lotion. It smelled really strong. Additionally, this person doused acetone on her fingers and harshly removed the nail polish that used to be there. Overall, that person was too rough and rushed through the manicure, and didn't really acknowledge my mom until my mom was taking out the tip money from her bag, to which then, she kept hovering over her. While all this was happening, a woman walked in at 10:00am asking for a nail tech named Lina. Lina hadn't arrived. She didn't arrive until 10:20am. When the customer got frustrated that Lina didn't honor her appointment, Lina didn't apologize. Instead, Lina accused the customer of being a Karen and explained that the customer always complained about the way Lina did her nails so she didn't want to do them. I found it appalling. If Lina didn't want to take the appointment, then Lina could have said no. After that we decided this is our first and last time. If anything I felt we got ripped off. But if you do decide to go here, ask for Tina, don't bother making appointment, walk in and good luck. read more

My second time here by recommendation of my daughter's friend. These youngsters know their nails. Lina here is the best at nail designs. She did a great job with my weddings nails a month ago. They lasted a long time and she really knows what she's doing. She said Jessica is good, too and she's employing a new nail tech next month who can do awesome 3-d designs. Very friendly and down-to-earth. They speak Vietnamese to each other but never said anything bad about customers, just friendly banter about their kids (they didn't know I know Vietnamese at first). I first visited this salon in 2014 when it was Pedi-Manikool, before it became Organic Nails & Spa in late 2015. Nancy was my absolute all-time favorite mani & pedi technician. Super friendly, very understanding, approachable, always smiley & makes you feel comfortable! I would have rated them 5 stars then. But Nancy left in early 2016. So Lina became my go-to gal for gel manicures. I go to Lina because she usually is up-to-date with the latest nail trend/design. She is pretty good at what she does. I have tried different nail enhancement types (gel polish, dip powder, SNS gel & gel builder) because many don't last long for me. I was told I have "oily" nails (whether this is true or not I have no idea) so it seems that gel builder works the best for me. But my nails do burn a lil when curing in the LED lamp -- this is due to them using electric nail drill in removing the gel off & layers of the natural nail - eventually it is damaging to the nail causing it be thin. The price we pay for beauty.... *sigh* In the beginning, almost like all relationships, it was pretty good. But after going to Lina for 1.5 years it became a love & hate relationship. The last couple of visits pushed me to the edge. When they know you're a loyal patron -- their quality of work & customer service goes downhill & becomes sub par over time. What really became upsetting was I had appointments made ahead of time (for a reason!) but Lina doesn't always seem to honor them -- because prior client came late or current service ran over time or she accommodated more than she could handle. Too many times I've waited patiently for her from 1/2 hour to 1 hour. The last time Lina did my nails, she insisted I do french tip nails. I told her I've done it many times before & it won't last, that the white tips will chip within a couple of days. She guaranteed me it won't chip for a few weeks. Guess what -- my tips chipped within a week. I was beyond upset & I vowed never to go back again. Oh just to note, like many typical salons when you call & make appointments they aren't always the friendliest. When you step foot into the salon they don't always greet you or have time to answer you. You stand there like a dimwit with no direction. When they are busy, they don't turn you away, but asks what do you need & says go pick a color. I get that they want to make money & turn service around quickly. Unfortunately all my nails have a different shape from one another (some are more almond and some are more stiletto.) I had the picture open the whole time for reference and communicated very clearly what I wanted. She waited to tell me until she was done and putting a silver sparkle powder on top that she couldn't match the picture. When I asked her if she had gold powder instead she just told me no. What's worse is that my fingers are cut up and my thumb nail has bubbles underneath. And she also charged me more then what she originally told me everything I was looking to do would cost. I'm not one to make a big deal about anything, and I hate confrontation so I didn't say anything. I usually come here for convenience and enjoy it but this last time was subpar. I also got a pedicure which was actually very nice. By far one of the worst nail salon experiences I've had to live through. I was misled by the good reviews. Don't come to this place. They literally rush you through everything from picking out a color to the actual service. How do you mess up a basic manicure and pedicure? On top of that, I was told that I couldn't dry my nails under the UV lights because I didn't get a gel manicure, I got regular polish. So they made me sit to the side and wait for them to dry. It's vey evident that they cater to a specific demographic so if you fall outside of that you can expect to be treated badly and rushed out of the salon. First off she was so extremely rough filing my nails after she put the acrylics on. Even after the multiple "ow", "ouch" "I'm sorry you're hurting me", it all fell on deaf ears. She ended up filing one of my nails half the size of my other nails. I didn't ask for coffin, but she proceeded to shape my nails in a coffin shape saying "my nail bed is small and the nails won't stay on if I don't do coffin". I've never heard this before and have been getting my nails done for years. She knew she had messed up my nail and even said it out loud but didn't bother fixing it until I had to ask her to.
