Hi. I just called this salon to make an appointment for my mom and I for a manicure and pedicure with Kathy & Maria. I was advised that neither of these technicians are working here anymore. Does anyone know if they went to a local salon? Any time I've received a service from another tech at this salon, the service was rushed and paint job sloppy. At my last service I was a walk in and went to random tech in the salon. I had tell HER to stop filing my cuticles because they were raw and it was painful. She didn't understand me and then skipped working on that finger all together. I haven't been able to get a manicure in weeks until it healed and decided to only see Kathy and Maria going forward. AVOID this place. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I came as a walk-in on a Friday while my car was getting serviced. I asked for a gel mani. First red flag was the fact that the place was huge and only had 3 nail techs and only one other client there at the time. That was the first red flags. Then lots of old gel polishes that don't even match the color on the display nails anymore. Second red flag. Then the nail tech pulled out a package of nail tools that had a dirty finger nail clipping in it. Obviously they don't clean them, but just throw it in the package like it's new. Third red flag. Unexpectedly I got a call saying my car was ready. I took that opportunity to dash because I didn't wanna get an infection. So I told her I was just gonna pay for the gel removal and come back another time for the polish since i had to pick up my car. The nail tech said I should prepay for the gel polish for my next appointment. I told her no that's okay, I'll just pay for the gel removal. When I got up to the register and paid her, she said "F*** You", in Korean. Apparently she was pissed off and didn't expect me to know any Korean. I didn't even dignify her with a response. I took a chance on this place despite the reviews. They disappointed me thoroughly. They need to do way better. Shame on them. read more

Show up 20 minutes late for your appointment, you'll have to wait at least that anyway. No reassurance that someone will be with you soon, just awkward silence and I guess I'll have a seat then. When you've had enough waiting and your getting ready to leave, make sure you talk to someone and they'll say, "no she almost done, she'll be right with you"... my response was okay, have a nice night if you going to allow people to make appointments, try not to overbook yourself and you might avoid more reviews like this one. read more

I live less than a block from this location and have been a loyal customer to this location as the shop is cleaner than most others on this street and the location is beyond convenient. However, my visit today was less than pleasurable and, in fact, was stressful. I stopped by yesterday afternoon but there was a wait longer than I anticipated so the tech suggested I schedule an appointment if I plan to return. The manager came to the desk to schedule my appointment but immediately picked up a phone call and left me standing there unattended for at least 5 minutes. I returned the following morning within 30 minutes of opening and waited for more than 30 minutes. During my wait, they took 3 walk ins before my friend and I. The first person seemed to be agitated when she arrived and was told there would be a wait. She told the manager she'd called on her way to the shop and scheduled an appointment so the manager agreed to sit her before my friend and I. The second walk-in was a lady and her granddaughter that arrived abt 10 minutes after my party. The tech that did my nails, Jenny, did a great job. I actually had great interactions with all the techs. Techs that have previously done my nails greeted me warmly in passing. My concern lies more so with management. I don't like to post unfavorable reviews, however, I feel the process used over the past two days is unlike the service I am accustomed to receiving here and should be re-examined so as to not inconvenience and stress patrons. read more

I came in first thing in the morning for my birthday and she took me immediately. So convenient since I work across the street and she was so helpful knowing my time in and out of service I called prior to arriving and she was so kind and pleasant on the phone. They engaged in conversation They were extra clean! Love the technique for polishing before soaking! This helps with the skin and nail to not expand and your polish will last longer !!!!! I would highly recommend "Kathy" gave me the most awesome pedicure and manicure. She took her sweet time with the pedicure it was very relaxing and peaceful. She did everything just the way I like it. I would highly recommend Kathy, she's a pretty Spanish girl. Rest are Koreans. The rest of the staff, might be okay as well, but I would just stick to Kathy. I am not a picky person, but when I am spending money, I do expect good service, it's my right. They always have Korean teas and water available, and the citron tea is my favorite, especially with this brutal winter we're having! All the nail technicians are very good; however, Mina is fantastic at doing Gel nails. She knows exactly the style I like and applies the polish very clean. She also speaks English very well! I got upset and then when I finally sat down the woman started on my pedicure to then walk away and start the other customers pedicure. Btw, I was told I would only need to wait 15 minutes not 45. My pedicure and manicure was so bad lumpy and uneven looked like two year old did it. I even gave a 20 dollar tip thinking it would motivate them to do a great job. Was so upset with the job that as soon as I came home I removed the nail polish and did it myself. Two stars only for the much needed 2 minute neck and shoulder massage that was given after my gel manicure. The atmosphere was tense, the employees seemed to be having some sort of issues and even raised their voices at one another. I was getting my oil changed near by and decided to get a gel manicure while I waited, it was $35 just for the gel, closer to my home I pay $20 to $25 max. They had a semi large gel color selection. I recently when to get a pedicure from tutti and it was honestly not the best. Granted it could have been much worse but for the price it felt like robbery. I paid $30 for a little old lady with a bad foot to soak my feet for 10 minuets then paint my toes. There was no real work. My cuticles were my cut or even pushed back, my nails are uneven and she got polish all over my skin. For the price I would definitely not recommend. The only reason they have 2 stars is because I went previous and was better attended to even though the polish lasted on a few days. If you want to waste money I say go for it but there are better places with better prices. read more

I have stopped going to this salon because the new owners are rude and loud. I had made an apt and came on time and had to wait almost an hour... I wasn't happy... the manager and one of the nail esthetician speaks so loud and obnoxious. Will not be returning and I am not the only customer who feels the same way. They charged me $45 for a gel fill in with regular nail polish. They discriminate their customer as well, I didn't get a message nor offered a drink, but they massaged the lady next to me and also offered her a drink. Mind you, she only had a manicure.
