My sister and bil invited me along to support her. When we walked in we were greeted by super friendly employees. My niece was so excited to try it she was telling us the whole way there and she had a smile from ear to ear as soon as we walked in. We were there a bit early but kids started to trickle in and they had quite a few kids. The instructors did a fabulous job considering they were teaching different age ranges. The class was 90 minutes and they were split into different groups where they were able to get more one on one instruction. The instructor told my sister that my niece is more suited for an intermediate class and was surprised my niece had never taken any classes. She is now signed up and will be taking classes. I'm so happy there is a place that makes kids comfortable and make it fun for them.

The boys love the physical activity and the low-formality approach to gymnastics. The instructors are great, and the prices are good. The facility is great for how they use it. We like the staff in general, and we're very happy with our experience overall. Today we also just had a birthday party there, for both boys, and the party was so great it prompted me to come write this review. They were great with helping us get it scheduled, and super-nice each time we called because our kid-count had gone up. In the end we had 28 RSVPs and 23 actually show, and everybody commented on how great the party was. The instructors were *amazing* - attentive to us and the kids, proactive in taking care of nearly everything, the kids loved them, and they (the instructors) were clearly having fun, too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. (And the price is as good or better than comparable places.) Overall, I'm thrilled we found this place - it's been great for us!

He is very assertive & stubborn.. so I was nervous he was too young for a class, but this structured class is teaching him listening skills and how to follow instructions (there is an obstacle course each class). His coordination and balance is also improving. We got lucky with a small class size, so he gets a lot of attention! Dominique comes over to encourage the toddlers as well, which is so sweet. His patience is legendary, we started attending…read moreKarate when my son was a very rambunctious 4 year old and I was concerned my son wouldn't be able to stick with the program because he was a rowdy little guy, but Shihan never once lost his patience and helped my son practice regularly. We are now 3 years into lessons and I recommend the program highly. Its a great way to stay on a consistent schedule in the summer and to get out of the house in the winter. From a practical view: there's lots of class times across the week, a weekly e-newsletter you have regular access to updates, there are regular belt promotions that give students small goals. Shihan also has students work on weekly goals and has them work on positive mantras while they are younger. Like "I will always try my best." Personally, while we started the program when my son turned 4, he's now 7 and still enjoys Karate. He practices katas which are series of moves in a row (like 10-12) they take weeks to practice and offer my son a great way to practice his left/right and focusing on his foot positions or his stances. Due to his early access to these classes he easily takes to new spaces, over the summer he participated in wrestling summer camps. These were completely new for him but because he was already in the practice of working with students, teachers and sensais he took to the camps easily. He didn't hesitate and take a ton of time being shy in the space but instead was confident and even understood physical boundaries with other students. He knew how to practice wrestle with little instruction. He even volunteered to go in front of the group to practice moves.

My son really enjoyed gymnastics here until he got moved up to an older class, at 6 years old. His…read moreteacher when he was 4-5 years old was wonderful. He was patient, kind, but also honest. If my son had a bad day, he let me know and if he had a good day, he was absolutely celebratory. He also was always very positive and encouraging either way (to all the kids). He is (or was?) a school principal. When my son got moved up, everything changed. He hated gymnastics. He frequently complained about how mean his teachers were. I watched as the teacher made him sit through the class by himself. When his class was over, the teachers always had plenty of criticism about him. He would run out of his class every week sobbing and hiding in the locker room. My son is not a perfect angel. He has ADHD and can be challenging to teach. But he's in other weekly activities, like skiing, karate, and piano lessons. None of his other teachers have criticized him so severely and given me the kind of hopeless feedback that Gym World has. I think the teachers for the boys at my son's age are in over their head. They don't seem to understand what is developmentally appropriate for children at this age. I know Gym World has an amazing reputation and maybe they just expect every 6 year old to be interested in pursuing a professional gymnastics career. Whatever the reason, they ruined my son's love of gymnastics and I unenrolled him. His emotional wellbeing and mental health was just more important to me. It's also worth mentioning that I went here as a kid and in retrospect, I remember quitting at a similar age for the same reasons. I don't recommend Gym World unless your child wants to be a gymnast.

I am simply a…read morephotographer that has taken athletes pictures at this facility year after year for as long as I can remember. However, I've been here enough times to know a five star gym when I see one. The Ganims' "no nonsense" approach to training makes Gym World the elite of the elite, and they have the trophy wall to prove it. If your child is serious about gymnastics, this is the place to be. Children come from all over Ohio hoping to be the next Olympic gymnast. Which I can tell you, gymnasts good enough for that, come from Gym World. With 40 years of experience under their belt, you couldn't ask for a better place for your child to train. I personally have never seen a group more organized and ready to go.

They always keep parents informed of happenings with the kids. There is always a warm welcome, clear expectations for kids and parents, quality instruction, and so much love given daily by all of the teachers and staff. Music and yoga every week, along with tons of outside time as well as structured and choice time in the classroom. Both of our kids loved being part of the LCPC family.
