Starting out I was confused with the flow of things but overtime I learned the ropes. My main gripe with ATB is that they're very much competition orientated. I really just want my girls to enjoy dance and gymnastics recreationally. I also do not want my young girls dressing in the dance recital outfits and wearing the unnecessary make up. Miss Mo and Miss Rachel have been great instructors who provide a positive and fun learning environment.

Shortly after, I had a family medical emergency that required me to leave town to bring a family member back from Montana and help coordinate care at Cleveland Clinic. This obviously limited my ability to attend classes during the remainder of the 2-week window. At the beginning of the second week, I received a call from a representative offering to "help me sign up for classes." I tried to explain my situation and asked if there was any flexibility--specifically whether I could convert my unused time into an Introductory New Flight pack (even if I had to pay an additional fee), so I could properly try classes after my family situation stabilized. Instead of addressing my request, the conversation repeatedly shifted toward selling me a monthly membership. I explained multiple times that I had only attended one class and was not in a position to commit, but the focus remained on upselling rather than listening. What stood out most was the lack of empathy regarding my medical emergency. The call eventually ended abruptly, with the representative saying she was "sorry she called," which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, this experience felt less about supporting new students or encouraging participation in the sport, and more about pushing memberships. I had hoped for a more understanding, flexible, and customer-centered approach.

What an amazing, grass roots type of studio, that truly goes against the large class size culture…read morethat dominates the Pilates scene in the rest of the NE Ohio area. The instructors at this studio are truly incredible - they challenge you but make sure you feel comfortable and able along the way. The equipment is great and having the Cadillac reformers for all class attendees is a huge plus and something you don't see at other studios! They haven't created an "unlimited package" option which some may dislike but I think it helps to make the classes more accessible for attending and I personally love it. They are able to keep their prices reasonable as well which is a rarity in the industry. The best thing about this studio compared to other studios I've attended is that they truly make your time in class "worthwhile" -- and they use the equipment. I never feel like I leave wishing I did more and there isn't much time spent doing things you could do at home on a mat which is truly the point of being in the class and having access to the reformer. Recently, hot yoga has been my exercise of choice (something about being in a 90 degree room in…read morewinter hits different). I was looking for a new hot yoga studio on the west side of Cleveland since it is closer to where I live, and came across Inner Bliss on the Mindbody app. The drop in classes are $20 but the 5 class pass is $68, and the price discrepancy convinced me to buy a 5 class pass even though I had never been to the studio before. Luckily, I made the right decision! I'm a fan of the Hot Power Flow Yoga classes here (my favorite instructor is Sally!) They are challenging enough where it feels like a good workout, but the environment is still a safe space so I don't feel judged if I need to take a break. Some hot yoga classes I have been to focus too much on hitting specific poses/binds/balances that aren't conducive to all experience levels, but I haven't run into that problem at Inner Bliss. I will definitely be repurchasing more classes after my 5 class pass is used up.
