Vogue Cleaners does a great job and they keep their word. I came to Luke with several blazer jackets that had been either ruined or improperly cleaned by Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff. There were two blazers where Green and Fresh put NEW stains on my jackets, and you can see they were clearly put there with their ironing press, because the press marks are in the exact same place on both jackets. Those jackets sadly were ruined, but there was a cream white blazer that looked grey and dingey after it was cleaned by Green and Fresh, and Luke told me he might be able to fix it. I had one other grey double breasted blazer that had stains that were NOT removed after Green and Fresh "cleaned" it, and Luke also said he'd work on removing those stains. For the cream white one, he told me if he couldn't fix it, he'd waive the charge. A week later I came to pick up my two blazers and lo and behold, the old stains on the grey double breasted blazer were gone! Imagine that, bringing your blazer to be dry cleaned and the stains actually getting removed. Vogue Cleaners successfully got the job done and removed the stains, when Green and Fresh could not. For the cream white blazer, there was still a subtle greyish tint to it, but honestly Luke made it so much better that it's at least wearable again. Because he wasn't able to get it back to its original state, he kept his word and waived the charge. I will be coming back to this shop because they take their work seriously and treat their customers fairly. I've been going to the same dry cleaners Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff for years and know the family there. As a result even though I frequently noticed subpar results, (e.g. I pay for the dry cleaning but all the original the stains on my items are still there), I just assumed the they had done their best but the stain was "too tough" to remove. I let it go on too long. I even started to question, what's the point of dry cleaning when it either makes the stains worse or my clothes look the same before and after cleaning. The answer is, Green and Fresh don't do the cleaning themselves and don't care if they damage your items. When I talked to the owner's son and asked him how often they replace or check their solvent, he told me he didn't know because he doesn't do the cleaning and brushed me off, even after their dirty solvent had turned my cream white blazer into a greyish white blazer. When I questioned why my blazers looked worse and were damaged from the cleaning process, he gaslighted me and acted as if they had nothing to do with it, like "not my problem." No apology, no offer to waive the cleaning fee or compensate me for the damaged items. It wasn't until I went home, angry and shocked at how I was treated, and then finally came to my senses and went back and demanded the refund because they had not only ruined two jackets but also improperly cleaned the other two, that he gave me the full refund. It was so disappointing, how the entire situation was handled. Fifteen years of trust and repeated business from me-- broken in 15 minutes. Luke, on the other hand, listened to my concerns, empathized with the situation, offered solutions, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I talked to him about the solvent, because he understands the dry cleaning process and manages the machines himself. That's what you need when you go to a dry cleaner. Knowledge, honesty, and a dedication to great customer service. Highly recommend Vogue Cleaners, and especially Luke.

Response time was quick though she wanted to see the construction to make sure she could alter it how I wanted. I forgot to uncheck the Yelp message so it also sent my message to other local Tailors and alteration specialists and May's price of $60 was the most competitive for her skills. Location is at her apartment in MTV, she is a prolific pattern maker and you can see her butcher paper patterns adorning the walls as well as some racks of her own designs. She does have a conveniant changing room set up where you can quickly change for fitting and measuring. I wasn't in a rush and picked up the Coveralls yesterday, turn around was 3 working days and the alterations were clean and well-done. Much better than from the factory. Thank you May!

I am not well versed in alterations but I appreciated how she customized the approach for each pair of pants - for my wide leg jeans she brought it in along the waistline, and for my navy barrel leg she took the seat in in a couple areas using complementary thread colors. I thought these touches were a step above what I've gotten from other tailors and I will continue to go to Diana for my alterations. My jeans were Madewell brand so nothing too fancy, but I spotted some nice designer brands from other clients on the rack so I feel even better about bringing investment pieces here in the future.

Unintentionally I was late to pick up my laundry from washing due to house chores, arriving about 1.5 hours later than expected. My stuff was put away, which I had no complaint, and there were quite a few washers unoccupied when I was searching my laundry. Then a female employee (gray hair, short stature) began yelling at me aggressively before I could say a word. I was given no chance to explain and was immediately threatened. When I tried to leave to avoid further conflict, she continued yelling and threatened to call 911. When I turned back toward the store, she photographed me and my car -- including my license plate -- without my consent, while calling me "bitch." When I asked her to stop, she called 911 and told police I had touched her. I did not touch her. What struck me most: she was screaming and threatening throughout the incident, but when she was speaking with police, I could hear her laughing -- completely calm and cooperative. The contrast was stark and deeply unsettling. Police came, heard both sides separately, and asked me not to return. The owner also showed up. When I described what happened, he told me he didn't believe I could have said nothing to set her off -- essentially dismissing my account on the spot and siding with his employee without looking at any evidence. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I live nearby and I'm concerned about my safety -- she has photos of me and my license plate. Other customers in the area should be aware. What should have been a simple, routine visit, something that could be explained in a few words, turned into one of the most threatening experiences I've had at any business.

Luckily, we found Bernardo. He's an expert cobbler with reasonable prices. If something isn't worth fixing, he'll tell you. As other Yelpers have mentioned, access is confusing. Meet him at the back door podium. He'll know you're there because he has a camera. I wish Bernardo was open for longer hours and on more days, but we have a new cobbler.

Extremely poor workmanship on Birkenstock resole and cork rebuild. Cannot recommend for this…read morepurpose My Birks required a rubber resole, and the cork near the heel had also started to wear. I asked if they could resole with the Vibram rubber, which was supposedly more durable. I was told they are the same as the Birks rubber. I dont believe that and should have taken that as a red flag already Nonetheless, I was told they could help with the cork rebuild, sole replacement, and cork sealant. Price of $75 (which apparent is the same for sole replacement only). Cork sealant was complimentary which I appreciated. Turn around time in a week I was extremely disappointed when I saw the condition of my shoes upon pick up. This is what I noticed: - Visible large holes between the cork and sole, which he then filled on site. Still it is uneven all around. I shouldn't need to point these out in the first place - Excess pieces of rubber still hanging off. This should be a quite trim to finish it, but instead, looks very sloppy - The cork at the heel doesn't look rebuilt, or at least, not properly. There is a noticible thickness difference between the cork on the left vs right heels - The sealant application looks extremely poor. There are large visible raised build ups and air bubbles. There are large amounts of sealant in accidental spots on the leather. The obvious lack of care is extremely disappointing Not sure how they can be charging this amount of money for this quality of work. The reviews have other happy customers so your mileage may vary

Consistently friendly and timely service! I have not used their tailoring service (duh, it's in the name of the shop, I know, I know), but it's nice to have this also be part of the services offered at this shop. The only downside is that the prices for the different kinds of services and dry-cleaning is a little high. But I think this has to do with the nice, quaint location in Los Altos and ... yes ... inflation. But if you are living in and doing business in Los Altos, prices should not be a deterrent. I would return to Tuyet Min Tailor and would highly recommend this place! read more

They have the best prices. For Los ALtos, this is the best place for tailoring. They charge 8$ for a hem. And they won't trick you and charge you more. They don't talk much, which I like. They also can get you clothes to you fast. Most other tailor places I have gone all have high prices in the peninsula. Definity try this place, good prices and good work and really nice people. read more

Instead of apologizing for failing to complete the work as agreed, the owner argued that I would have to pay even more to fix it. I felt trapped because my dress had already been half altered. She charged me an additional $45 just to finish what we originally agreed on. In total, I paid $185 for extremely poor-quality work and unprofessional service. The alterations were badly done, the owner was dismissive and unapologetic, and the entire experience was incredibly frustrating. I would never trust them with another item.

Secondly, they are the experts, if they think that they can't cut it evenly without me trying it on, they should have told me, instead of blaming me. Their solution was to cut some more fabric to even it out. The dress is ruined and I don't want it to be even shorter. In my picture, look at the measure tape where one side was an inch. Even in the most expensive dry cleaners (Nature's Green in Sunnyvale) I have tried in the neighborhood they only charged $24 for a silk saree. Here she charged me $55 and after I insisted on a discount she charged me $50. This is daylight robbery. She claimed other cleaners like Nature's Green don't dry clean, they just use water to launder clothes dropped off for dry cleaning. Whatever! Do not use this cleaner for your dry cleaning or they will take you to the cleaners.
