Don't let this unassuming small shopfront fool you, Vogue Cleaners is professionally run with excellent customer service. Talk to Luke, he takes his work seriously and is honest. Vogue Cleaners does a great job and they keep their word. I came to Luke with several blazer jackets that had been either ruined or improperly cleaned by Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff. There were two blazers where Green and Fresh put NEW stains on my jackets, and you can see they were clearly put there with their ironing press, because the press marks are in the exact same place on both jackets. Those jackets sadly were ruined, but there was a cream white blazer that looked grey and dingey after it was cleaned by Green and Fresh, and Luke told me he might be able to fix it. I had one other grey double breasted blazer that had stains that were NOT removed after Green and Fresh "cleaned" it, and Luke also said he'd work on removing those stains. For the cream white one, he told me if he couldn't fix it, he'd waive the charge. A week later I came to pick up my two blazers and lo and behold, the old stains on the grey double breasted blazer were gone! Imagine that, bringing your blazer to be dry cleaned and the stains actually getting removed. Vogue Cleaners successfully got the job done and removed the stains, when Green and Fresh could not. For the cream white blazer, there was still a subtle greyish tint to it, but honestly Luke made it so much better that it's at least wearable again. Because he wasn't able to get it back to its original state, he kept his word and waived the charge. I will be coming back to this shop because they take their work seriously and treat their customers fairly. I've been going to the same dry cleaners Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff for years and know the family there. As a result even though I frequently noticed subpar results, (e.g. I pay for the dry cleaning but all the original the stains on my items are still there), I just assumed the they had done their best but the stain was "too tough" to remove. I let it go on too long. I even started to question, what's the point of dry cleaning when it either makes the stains worse or my clothes look the same before and after cleaning. The answer is, Green and Fresh don't do the cleaning themselves and don't care if they damage your items. When I talked to the owner's son and asked him how often they replace or check their solvent, he told me he didn't know because he doesn't do the cleaning and brushed me off, even after their dirty solvent had turned my cream white blazer into a greyish white blazer. When I questioned why my blazers looked worse and were damaged from the cleaning process, he gaslighted me and acted as if they had nothing to do with it, like "not my problem." No apology, no offer to waive the cleaning fee or compensate me for the damaged items. It wasn't until I went home, angry and shocked at how I was treated, and then finally came to my senses and went back and demanded the refund because they had not only ruined two jackets but also improperly cleaned the other two, that he gave me the full refund. It was so disappointing, how the entire situation was handled. Fifteen years of trust and repeated business from me-- broken in 15 minutes. Luke, on the other hand, listened to my concerns, empathized with the situation, offered solutions, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I talked to him about the solvent, because he understands the dry cleaning process and manages the machines himself. That's what you need when you go to a dry cleaner. Knowledge, honesty, and a dedication to great customer service. Highly recommend Vogue Cleaners, and especially Luke. read more

I dropped off two Faribault Mills wool blankets to be dry cleaned. I picked them up and there is hair all over them. Not embedded into the fiber but just sitting on top of the wool. It's hard to trust they were even cleaned... I should've just taken them to my local dry cleaner. I used this place because it was conveniently down the street from my job site. Hint: They are located on the corner of Escuela and Latham, one block off El Camino. They have a tiny parking lot in front but it's very hard to get in and out of. I recommend parking on the street if possible. My old cleaners that I literally had gone to for decades retired and I've been searching for a new cleaners for the past few years. I can't even count how many I've gone to, some were expensive and some were VERY expensive! But all just did a so-so job. I saw the reviews for Vogue and gave it a try but honestly had low expectations. I brought in a knee length sweater that is unlined, no embellishments, pretty plain except the lapels are large. In the past when I've taken it in to be cleaned (Twice before) I was charged over $60, and the second time was $35. I was shocked but each cleaner told me it was because it was long. Seemed a bit of a rip off to me. I brought it in to Vogue because I had spilled a little bit of a balsamic & olive oil dipping sauce on the right lapel. I was worried the stain would not come out and my favorite sweater jacket would be trash. I was braced for the price and was shocked when the man looked at it and said not only did he think they could get the stain out but they would charge $15.00 to clean it! When I picked the sweater up and I was so happy that the stain DID come out. I unfortunately noticed they missed a couple spots on one sleeve and the back of the sweater. It almost looked like they just worked on the spot and forgot to clean the entire sweater. The man at the counter was beyond apologetic and said he would have it cleaned and I could pick it up the next day. The staff were so kind and helpful and definitely exceeded my expectations! Update: The owner's reply below further shows their arrogancy and disregard of truth. I only asked them to redo my laundry once, which is my tie in this case. Youjin may argue that I also asked him re-press my suit, but that was just a reminder and I indeed paid for it (I wore it for couple weeks) -- I have receipts to prove this. Besides that there was no other "redo". Youjin mentioned I "talk down to staff" and "lie". What's interesting is that this place actually has video recording. Youjin sent me the clip yesterday in which showed that I was friendly and told them I only "found out on Thursday coz I needed to wear it on Friday". The owner himself proved my point that you really should not do business with them. To Youjin: I think everyone reading this will be more convinced if you can show evidence to your point. I am afraid that the more you say the more harm it would do to your cleaner. Your reply about I "talk down to your staff" and "lie" can actually constitute defamation under CA law -- I happen to be a prospective lawyer and I can show you my credential if you think this is still a "lie". ----------------------- To Fellow Customers: THEY DON'T DESERVE A HIGH REVIEW SCORE. I didn't check everything -- as I usually trusted their service - until I found my tie's interlining was inappropriately pressed on the evening of July 18, making the end of my tie looked wrinkled. That's the only tie I have, and I needed it for a meeting on Friday, so I wore it a bit. The next day I went to them and explained the situation. When I picked up my tie today, the staff told me they would refuse future service for the following reasons: 1. I caused the tie issue and I lied to them, and 2. I asked for rush services too many times. I was literally shocked as I have been doing business with them for a long time, and I always thought people there were friendly. This is the first time in my life that I have been accused of such things. I told them they were closed when I found out the tie, and said I had lots of meetings, interviews and travels recently - still I always asked them nicely in advance and they always agreed. They kept refusing to apologize and my future business, and responding to my explaining with a "whatever" attitude. To Management at the Vogue Cleaner: 1. I DIDN'T LIE TO YOU. I've paid you so much money so WHY SHOULD I TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A $5 TIE PRESSING? You can ask questions, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFAME ANYONE AND SAY UNCORFIRMED BIAS. 2. If you are not comfortable with getting things rushed, EXPRESS IT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! IT IS YOUR RESPONBILITY TO GET THINGS SORTED OUT, AND DON'T BLAME CUSTOMERS FOR LETTING YOU GET BUSY.
