I would not recommend this place. I had gone a few times before and first off prices are very high last til for a fill and a French tip that had cow print and one gem was 120 off the bat. It was cute but not worth it for a fill and design. And then this 4/30 Saturday I had gone if for a full set for my birthday the next week 100 for my full set not even a week later a nail broke 6/3 and when I called they wanted to charge me more to get it done. Well I got it done and told me this is the only time Amy has I got in and someone else is doing it and she put a thick layer not even the right tip and had not clue what she was doing. Lady was nice, place is clean, nails are pretty good but I wouldn't come back because of the price for this basic set. I tried a new place today because it's closer to my house but it cost more than I usually pay. This basic set with no design or jewels were $75 PLUS tip. For over $75 I wish she would have gone down to the cuticle. I don't like that there is a gap this large when leaving. I've been to TV's a few times since it is within walking distance from my house, and to be honest it is your average nail salon. I made an appointment and had to wait over 10 minutes after my appointment time to be seen, even though there were two workers that were not with customers. Additionally, I was charged $90 for a gel set with a very simple design (polka dots) and a quick sugar scrub. I don't get my nails done often, but it just seemed a little overpriced for me compared to their listed prices. A couple of my fingers ended up bleeding and after one day my nails are already chipping. read more

Unsurpassed RUDENESS!! I had an adequate pedicure from the owner's son- it was an odd experience as his parents were talking to him in their native language- the entire time across the shop. When he was done with my polish-he put on his jacket and left the store- not to be seen again. His dad checked on me and said "not dry yet"- I continued to enjoy the massage chair- within a couple minutes-the woman owner left the manicure she was giving and came over to my feet and grabbed the foam toe separators- jerking my foot about 8 inches into the air - She reached over to the armrest to turn off my chair and yelled at the top of her lungs "DONE" !!!! So if you enjoy being yelled at...please patronize them! Lol read more

Second chance for a pedicure. It was so disappointing. My daughter asked to schedule at 4:45 but was told 5:00. Arrived at 4:40. Signed in and waited until 5:00 although it was very slow in their. Was taken back to the pedi chair where water was already in the bowl. The water was cold in both mine and my daughters bowl. My daughter expressed that it was very cold. I also agreed and expressed that it was cold. The guy helping her said one moment, went to the back. He returned after about 5 minutes with two Pyrex measuring cups full of warm water and poured it into her bowl. He then said there water heater had gone out about an hour ago. We both said that was a bummer. The worker asked if that was better. My daughter said it was somewhat better and they continued with her pedi. The lady helping me guided both my feet out of the bowl that was full of cold. My feet had been on the water for less than 5 minutes. She started removing the old polish from my toe nails. I assumed that she was going to get warm water when she finished with the polish removal. My assumption was wrong. Once she ground the polish off, she dipped my feet into the cold water to rinse them off and guided both of them back to continue with filing my toe nails. I again stated that the water was very cold in hopes that she would attempt to warm the water and let my feet soak. The guy working with my daughter asked her in there language about the water and then another employee said something in there language. She responded with placing her finger in the water and said luke warm. I disagreed. She glanced up with her eyes, back down and started with the most pathetic 2 minute foot massage I have ever had. Mean while my daughter is still soaking one foot in her luke warm water while the guy is trimming her toe nails. Then my worker starts painting my toe nails with out the toe spacers. This is where she earned her tip. She actually asked me after one swipe of color, if I liked the color. I said yes and thank you for asking. She continued painting my toe nails. She did put two coats on, said you done and walked away. My daughter was not complete with her pedi for 20 more minutes. He walked with us to the front and asked how we pay before giving the total. When I said cash he rang us up on a calculator instead of the cash register. As I was paying another man came up and said he was sorry about the water heater. I asked for a discount and started to explain the terrible service I received. Both guys talked in there language. He then said no discounts available. I said ok. I adjusted my tip for them to half of what I planned to give. I understand the service industry and know that tips are appreciated. I also understand that it was out of there control that the water heater stopped working however they could have been up front from the beginning instead of just doing a poor job and not deliver there best work. I work hard to be able to treat my self and my daughter to a pedicure every few months. TV nails FAILED with the lack of quality service and customer service. I won't be returning. read more

I'm sad to write this review because I really wanted to like this place! I was looking for a spot that does chrome gel polish, and was excited that they offer it as it seems to be hard to come by in this area. I brought my 11 year-old daughter in with me on Sunday afternoon - she wanted nail art for Christmas, I wanted some light gold chrome. Everything was going great until the chrome was applied. It looked so pretty but then he brushed it with a dusty brush that had white powder in it - it covered the chrome in a film of milky white residue. He continued on and I had to speak up and show him - he took the color off the nails I pointed out, and redid them, but he didn't redo all of them, so there visible differences. I hate confrontation so I just zipped my lips. Then I noticed another nail hadn't been smoothed enough before gel so it had little dots, which is extra noticeable when you have metallic polish applied. When he was done, he took a nail file to smooth the edges between the cuticle and nail, but it was built up so thick with gel that it wasn't thinning out. He did the same to the tips of the nails and I sat there panicking internally as it began exposing the white layer under the gold. Meanwhile, my daughter got my attention after her nails were done to show me that her cuticle was bleeding. The nail art was adorable but the blood was concerning...I spoke up and showed them and there seemed to be no remorse, no one said sorry - they just grabbed a bottle of green liquid and dropped some on the cut. Awkward. We went to the front to pay and were surprisingly charged full price ... I thought there would maybe be some sort of compensation for cutting my kids finger. Anyways, less than 24 hours later, my gold chrome began chipping off 8 of my nails. White patches were exposed. I called and they were able to schedule a time for today, Thursday, to fix them. I arrived on time to have them redone, and had to wait about ten minutes. The girl who cut my daughter's finger "fixed" them, and hurried through it, not saying two words. At one point I noticed a piece of nail sticking up that she hadn't smoothed out and she was applying gel to it - I asked if she could see the bubbled spot and she roughly grabbed a tool and cut it. I didn't say another word as she did a rough job, and I left the salon with brand new white spots of polish exposed under the chrome at the edges of the nails. She also only fixed 8 of the nails, and did the same thing with the dirty powder brush...so 8 of the nails look like the have a film over them. I don't expect that this "fix" will last long since it's already showing. This was my first time at this nail salon and first time getting acrylic nails. I called the day before to make an appointment since I know these would take long. I got there right before my appointment and they sat me down right away and a lady started my nails. Then she finished prepping my nails for the acrylics and said it would be a few minutes for the girl who would actually do the set to be done with the customer she was helping. I waited about 10minutes for that lady. Overall it would about an hour and 45 minutes. I love the design, it's exactly like the picture I asked for. There are some minor details I think could have been cleaned up better on my nails given it was $80, but overall Iike them. She asked me how long I wanted them and the shape and I felt like she really tried to make sure they all looked similar in shape in size which I appreciate. She also didn't annihilate my cuticles which I have had happen at other salons before, so I was especially happy about that. I wish they did some kind of lotion afterwards because my hands felt really dry after. I would also not there is some of the glue on one of my fingers and my previous mail color was not completely taken off on one of my thumbs. Minor details but still make a difference. The nicest group of nail techs I've ever encountered. I made a last minute, same day, appointment for a gel pedicure and acrylic fill. It was easy to make an appointment via text, and response time was quick. The young man who did my pedicure was so kind and personable but also detail oriented and cared about my service. Mia did my fill and was so nice, polite, and also detail oriented. I've been to about 3 other nail shops since moving to Idaho 6 months ago and I've finally found my spot. This is my favorite nail salon in the valley. After trying multiple other places and having horrible experiences, TV's Nails is at the top of my list now. The staff is so kind and patient, and they really work with you to get the design you want. I have gotten a few gel manis and my sister has gotten acrylic sets. The quality is great and they have a gal who does some pretty cool art and designs. They are also pretty reasonably priced for what they do. They have a huge color selection and a really relaxing atmosphere. The worst part about my experiences here were simply the other patrons. I feel so bad for the staff when they get the real karen's in there. Be kind and treat your techs with patience - they'll get the job done and succeed your expectations if you actually communicate instead of making demands. read more

The gal who did my nails (a fully acrylic set) was super sweet and made sure that I got the look I wanted. I'm newer to getting my nails done and she made it a great experience. She was gentle with my hands and took time to do my nails. However, after a day or two I looked a little closer at the work that was done and there's a lot of little imperfections. Some nails are thicker than their opposite and my nail polish is uneven on some nails. Sharp edges were left on the underside of my nails that I had to file myself. Overall it was a great experience but the quality of my nails isn't quite as good as I initially thought. The price is pretty good though! Update: I've had these done for a week and the nail on my index finger has lifted from my nail and now it's just hanging on by where the fake nail was glued to my real nail. Not worth the price, not if they're just going to break in a week. Hoping I can at least get them removed for free. read more

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! While I was endlessly scrolling on where to get my nails done, I just decided whatever and sent a message to a random nail salon. Somehow, yelp decided to message two other salons as well and I got this place as an option. I noticed no reviews so I wondered if this was new. I decided to give it a try and it was the most wonderful experience! They recently took over the business three weeks ago. Victor was super nice and we had a nice conversation going so it felt very welcoming in there. Mia did my nails, and she was very detail oriented and sweet.
