It's a shame you can't give ZERO stars otherwise I would have selected that option! Avoid this place like the plague!!! Bought a $729 toilet here, couldn't get it to fit in place and they wouldn't take it back!! When I went to return it they asked me if I placed it on the wax ring and I said "yes" because I had a helper and thought he'd already placed it, but that wasn't the case. The base was free and clear of wax. On my first attempt without the wax ring, I realized I couldn't get the bolts into the slots in the floor fitting because the bolts are inside a hole in the porcelain base of the toilet and the walls on each side of the toilet leave no room to bend my wrist and get the bolts in. At that point I realized it was impossible and decided to return it. When I returned it, they asked if I had put it on the wax ring and I said yes initially, because I thought my friend had tried seating it, but he hadn't. So I returned 2 days later with the toilet, told them it hadn't been seated on the wax and they still refused to take it. Also asked me if I had the box and when I told them "no" they restated that they can't take. The box it comes in is well-made of heavy cardboard and put together with heavy staples. It's made to keep the product safe during shipping. No one can't take that box apart and keep it intact for reassembly!! It wasn't meant to be disassembled and reassembled!! Using the box as a "no return" item tells me these two guys are a pair of "scheisters". Stay away from this place and take your business elsewhere!!! Anybody want a brand new $729 unused toilet that is worthless to me!! Thanks for nothing NLB&K!! read more

I initially planned to go to the Plumbery, but was recommended to try this place. They are just a third party retailer, you can get most of the products they offer online directly by the seller or an online retailer. Unfortunately, I caught Dave in two lies, he tried to throw the vendor under the bus for his own mistakes and when confronted about it, he was at first defensive but admitted when I understood what happened, that he did in fact lie. (The first lie was that the vendor sent the wrong parts when he entered them incorrectly on the receipt, the second lie was getting the replacement parts were never ordered until a week later when I called asking for an update, then magically they get fedex'ed two days later. Both times he blamed the company. I called the company, and they cleared and proved that the error was in fact on the retailer, not them) To try to come to a middle ground I asked for help selling or returning medicine cabinets that wouldn't fit in my bathroom due to not being able to recess, he said he can't help me and walked away. A bit of a d*ck, I wouldn't recommend working with this company. You'll be lied to and not treated well for parts you can just get cheaper online. This review is a little over due but here it is and if I could I'd give it more than 5 start. I initially started at a different store but quickly ended up at LB&K and I'm very happy I did. Dave is super easy to work with and very knowledgeable. There was times where I couldn't stop by the store to place orders instead I would email, text or call . I'd take a pic of what I want and send it to him with in an hour I'd get an response. Always included invoices and stayed on top of all my orders and there were a lot of them. (5bath fixtures, kitchen and endless number of cabinet hardware) and everything else in between. :) The store is beautiful and is full of top of the line items. There's something for every taste. None of their stuff works with standard plumbing, they refuse to tell you that when you make the purchase but most of their customers have to completely redo their water lines, cut open the dry wall and repaint. Be prepared to spend another grand for plumbing work. read more

I went in at the recommendation of my real estate agent. Nice selection. Dave was helpful. I wanted to buy Toto toilets because I had them at my last home and they were fantastic. Dave was very fond of Icera because of great performance and lower cost. He showed me impressive videos about what the Icera can easily flush. Soon after installation, the handle of both Icera Vistas would frequently stick. At one point, there was a clog in a toilet which was not an Icera but shared the line. The Icera handle stuck and water continued to flow. It filled the toilet and went out onto the floor. The water damage was thousands of dollars. I had a deductible of $1000 and that was my cost plus a lot of headache. I called Icera and they sent out two "upgraded" handles. Since that time, one of the toilets is beginning to stick again. After lengthy discussions with Icera, they are sending out another new handle. Wish I had purchased the Toto. Plus, the skirt on the Icera makes installation much more difficult. Three stars represents recommending a product that has made my life very difficult. read more

We showed up on a busy Saturday afternoon and had to wait around for a little while to get help. After browsing around for a few minutes, I was impressed by the variety of choices of quality brands. Not your run of the mill big box store options here. Once we did get helped, it was worth the wait. Brian killed it with his knowledge and pointed us in the right direction. I grabbed as much information as possible and went home to dig around on the internet. We found that they were comparable on nearly all the prices that were on the discount sites. The worst retail experience of my life. Paid over $1100 for plumbing fixtures in March 2022, told in May there was a manufacturing error and they had to remake the faucet, wouldn't cancel the order for the $795 faucet, zero communications thereafter. In August 2022 I called and asked for a refund of the $795 faucet that I never received, plus $350 in matching accessories I had already received, person took message and no one called me back. I called again, got the sales guy on the phone, he refused to refund me and he wasn't remotely professional or caring, said it was already shipped to me but couldn't tell me when, said he'd get back to me, never got back to me, and then a couple of days later I get the faucet shipped to me from the manufacturer. 5 MONTHS AFTER I ORDERED IT. No apology, no courtesy call or explanation. New Luxury will not refund me and I am stuck with a $795 faucet and $350 in matching accessories that I can't use. Who is going to hold their bathroom remodel indefinitely for a faucet?! New Luxury took zero responsibility for the error or delay and simply did not care about me as a customer much less a human being. I also went in there knowing I wanted a Toto toilet, they somehow talked me into a piece of junk that won't ever flush on the first attempt. Just an unpleasant, expensive, frustrating and upsetting disaster from start to finish. I have over $1100 worth of Sigma brushed bronze Jefferson faucet with matching toilet and towel holders never removed from packaging. read more

I am updating my prior review of 5 stars to give another 5 star review for a separate remodel job. Normally I'd let the other one stand but the service was so amazing that I wish I could give six stars. Two years ago, I used Dave & NLB to remodel a bathroom. Then I moved across the country to Maryland and had to do some more remodeling in my new home. I thought I'd find a local shop and buy fixtures in Maryland. That didn't work out since most of the shops in the area don't have anything better than Home Depot on display. What they do have if it's better than the Depot is hard to get and half of what they can show you is only in a catalog. You cannot sit in the bathtubs or see the whole of what you're buying until you have already paid for it and shipped it! Madness. The product knowledge and sense of getting things done was also conspicuously absent. I was very disappointed. So I called New Luxury Baths, sent some photographs and asked if Dave would be interested in doing some cross-country business. Over the next couple of months, Dave went back and forth with me on email and on the phone with internet links to photos and product web sites. Before you know it, all my sink and shower plumbing had arrived, along with a towel warmer and other wall hardware (TP holder, robe hooks, etc). He had advice about which company was reliable, which company cost more and why, what I'd be getting with one product versus another, and style advice as well. Everything that arrived was to my liking, and to my plumber's liking too. Dave was, as always, on budget and on time. He was also on-point with the quality of the product. In internet ordering of such parts, there are a lot of low-quality competitors. I am a savvy shopper but I wouldn't have made nearly as good choices without his expertise. Here's the six-star amazing service item, though. I had ordered a big, free standing tub filler from a shop in Canada months before, and before I realized I wouldn't find a local shop I liked. The tub filler was ordered in April and back ordered until June. Finally, by early August it had not arrived and wasn't due for another ten days. I could not wait anymore because the house was to be appraised and refinanced in less than a week's time and I had an open ceiling and a bathtub sitting in my bedroom! The non-existent tub filler had halted the entire job! Workmen were sitting around waiting or moving on to other jobs. I called Dave and told him I was in big trouble and that I needed a good quality tub filler on X budget +/- 20%, and I needed it either the next day or the day after. Within 30 minutes, he sent me an email with a picture attached of a good looking tub filler that he could get quickly and that would work in my bathroom. He had one in stock, which is quite rare, and he sent it overnight. It arrived in less than 15 hours and was installed in time to save my refinancing. Dave is my plumbing hero. He can be yours too if you need one. I can't recommend this business enough. It's worth the drive to Livermore, and what's more, it's worth doing business from 3,000 miles away. read more

Home Depot and Lowes offers inferior product now, at one time they offered decent fixtures. We actually thought this was a new place, but were surprised to find out that NLB has been around for 7+ years. Dave keeps his showroom absolutely perfect! So much so, that we thought - just by looking around - that we'd be priced out of the fixtures we wanted - delighted to say that we stay within our budget - NLB has great prices! I contacted New Luxury Bath & Kitchens on Saturday to inquire about the model we wanted and was informed they had one in stock and it would be available for pickup on Monday. My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and doing a mini bathroom remodel. I pass by this store every day on my way home from work. We went there today to check out the store and see what they could offer. The guy who was working there never got up out of his desk chair. We said we were remodeling the kitchen and I said I really liked a sink. The only thing he offered was a list of contractors. My husband mentioned he liked a few bathroom sinks and nothing. We totally felt we were being snubbed This guy had his nose in the air. We are doing a refinance and putting the money into a total kitchen remodel and partial bathroom remodel. We live close by. I would give these guys zero stars if possible. I've been there twice now. The first experience wasn't great but I ended up buying my bathroom vanity, sink, faucet and mirror from them because they came highly recommended from my contractor. I wanted to re-do another bathroom of mine so I went there again a few months ago. There were two guys working there (might be father and son). Neither one of them got out of their chairs to show me or my wife around. I'm not calling them racist but when customers of a lighter persuasion came in to look at sinks, they were all over them. Dave was great about working with us on picking all of the fixtures for four full baths, two half baths, laundry room and kitchen, this was not just limited to the parts that we saw but also getting the correct parts that go behind the walls. Once we picked everything, Dave was able to make us and our builder a book with all of the spec's for what we purchased room by room which helped ensure that the correct fixtures when in the correct place. This retailer carries an impressive selection of bath and kitchen fixtures. The problem is that the owner, Dave, doesn't possess good product knowledge. That is, the faucet he sells you might not fit on the bath tub he also sells you or the sink faucet may be too powerful for the shallow vanity sink. And when these deficiencies are discovered at or after installation, Dave is not very responsive. Bottom line - nice stuff, fair prices but ask lots of questions and don't expect Dave to guide you away from a bad choice. read more
