wasn't my favorite bar experience. The crowd wasn't what I expected for a college bar -- every time I've gone, there were a lot more older people than students, which made the vibe feel a little off. I also personally felt really uncomfortable with one of the bouncers. From my own experience, it seemed like he treated me and the girls I was with differently than others, and it honestly felt discriminatory. It was a really unsettling situation and made the whole night feel negative. The drinks are just okay, and the space itself isn't very big. First time visiting this restaurant on the Strip in Tuscaloosa. My friends and I sat outside and it was a pretty chill, relaxing environment. Even with one waitress on duty, we never went without anything at our table. She was so sweet and patient! Happy hour until 9 with $5 double wells can't be beat. I recommend a Tequila Sunrise! Plus amazing $5 food choices. We had chicken nuggets and fries and OMG, fresh and delicious. Their honey mustard dipping sauce is divine! I ordered from Door Dash and when I received my order I was a bit shocked at how tiny the wings were. I called and asked to speak to the manager. I explained my situation and asked if this was their normal wing size. He assured me it wasn't and that the supplier has sent a different kind. I hate when restaurants try to scam you with additional charges. 20% gratuity automatically added to any bill over $5. 3% add added if you use a credit card, and $1 added as a service charge. The waitress was shook when I asked for a receipt. I then saw the 3% and the extra $1 even though I paid cash. It's a shame to scam customers. I can't imagine the number of unsuspecting patrons that never realize the extra charges. My bill was small, so I was able to quickly catch the overcharge. read more

Would recommend to no one. The hostess was rude as soon as we walked in and we should have left then. They advertised specialty drinks, however, there was not a drink menu and our waitress was not sure of what they are or what they were made with. Food was average. When the bill came, we paid on a small tablet so we never received a printed bill. 22% gratuity was added without our knowledge, causing us all to double tip our server. If the 22% gratuity had bern advertised on the menu we would have understood. Additionally, one of us realized that menu prices were lower than what we were charged and had to be refunded. Eaten here 3 times now - we've had two different waitresses. Both were very informed on the menu, with accurate recommendations. I've ordered a number of things off the menu, and have genuinely been impressed by the quality and plating of the food. I saw it had a low rating, and I definitely disagree. Honestly a 0 out of 10 and needs completely new management and staff. I was verbally and physically harassed by one of their employees for "looking at her the wrong way". The manager would not give me the time of day and condoned her behavior saying "she can treat you any way she f***ing wants". Unacceptable behavior, expensive cover, and overpriced drinks. Friends of bouncers and fraternity brothers get special treatment over other frequent customers, not having to pay cover and cutting in front of lines where some students will wait over 2 hours to barely get in before closing. College students, save your money and respect and DO NOT by any means attend this bar. There are too many other bars on campus to subject yourself to this kinda treatment. I stopped by this location to enjoy lunch with my son on game day and was extremely disappointed. First the food was poor. The burger that called for bacon on it had one half of one piece of bacon. The fries were so cold that they were inedible. But the worst part was the PRICE GOUGING! When we arrived, we were given a menu printed on a sheet of paper. We had two burgers with fries $16, two draft beers ( 16oz plastic cups), and coke which was flat ( $3.75) also a 16oz plastic cup. When we got the bill it was $70.60. I was surprised and the waitress stated that the Game Day prices were different and gratuity was added....... I grew up in Tuscaloosa and worked on the strip during college. When I looked around the location, I saw a good mix of Bama Fans and Ole Miss fans. Twelve25 had a lot of hype. Being in a college town, everyone was excited for the new, updated sports bar. We could not have been more wrong and were very disappointed. We had so many issues, starting with the hostess. She was extremely rude to my friend when she asked how her day was(common curtesy). The hostess rolled her eyes and asked how many very harshly.. The first problem we encountered, was that there was no drink menu. For a restaurant/bar to have specialty drinks, it is very abused to not be able to look at a menu to see what's in every drink and to make matters worse, the waitress didn't have a clue about anything but the names. These drinks were even advertised out front. I ordered a frozen mango margarita($7), but when it came to the table, it was GREEN. My MANGO margarita was the same color as the LIME margarita. It also tasted like a sour apple, which wasn't even a flavor option. There was also a problem with no one knowing the difference between draft and bottled beer. Our waitress tried to help us with what the special drinks were and she said that she could grab someone to help us figure out the drinks. We were all suprised by this and said "wow thank you yeah that sounds good" but she just stood there and never grabbed anyone. My drink was also very sweet. Next the food was not bad, but the portions were weird. The appetizers were a great size to share. I shared the Dip Trio($10) with two other friends and we all had a good portion. When our meals came out, I was suprised to see how big the chicken finger appetizer was compared to my burger, which was $5 more. The ranch was also super peppery. I got the Champion Burger($13), which had a fried egg on it. The fried egg was over hard which was very disappointing as I was looking forward to an over easy egg that would be runny. The very last big problem was with the payment. They payment method was on a handheld tablet and gratuity was included without our knowledge. We all did not notice this so we added additional tips, even though we didn't want to. My total came out to $32 which was surprising but I let it go. When the bill came to the last person she asked for a cash option. Our waitress seemed flustered and didn't know how to handle it. When she got the receipt, she noticed the total was off for her meal. She asked the waitress and ended up only getting some money back. We all concluded that the menu prices were far off from the real prices. Our experience overall was very poor. We will not be returning. This might be a worse loss for Tuscaloosa than losing the Natty. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The servers were so nice and personable, but the quality in the food was just not there. This restaurant has so much potential to be great, but the recipes for the food have to change. Tacos need more topping options because right now it's all tortilla and nothing else, the salad was pretty good but the sandwiches have too much bread not enough meat, should try marinating the chicken in something before grilling it. This restaurant has so much potential to be amazing, but a there's a lot that needs to change, starting with the menu. Wish I could give zero stars, honestly. Waited in line for about 30 minutes for a date party because they had two people double and triple checking ids which was understandable so I didn't complain too much. Got to the front of the line, however, and was denied... Not by the first bouncer but by the second. He tried telling me I had a fake ID because it was vertical (I received my license when I was 18 so it doesn't expire until my 22nd birthday, hence why it is vertical even though I'm of legal drinking age). They ended up trying to confiscate my legitimate ID! I challenged the bouncer because I was not about to have my real, state issued license taken from me. He then said, "I'll let you in this one time"..... ha, like I'm ever coming back to deal with this ridiculousness again. To have multiple people checking and scanning IDs, you'd think they would realize the difference between a real and a fake, but, nope. Not to mention, once we got in, had to wait forever at the bar for mediocre drinks. If I could give this place a 0, I would. The moment my friends and I (5 of us) walked in, the hostess was rude. The place was nearly empty (8 pm on a Saturday night) yet the hostess sat us right in front of the door where cold air hit us every time the door opened. Our table was wobbly to the point we needed a new one. The chairs and place overall looks and feels cheap and thrown together. They have no drink menu, so we had to explain what we wanted. The drinks came in the smallest glasses I've seen and we never knew the price of them (which turned out to be $9) because she was clueless. No one here is trained and we have advised our other friends to not spend another penny at that place. The food was meh at best, small menu, and weird selection. The chicken tacos were literally unseasoned chicken, lettuce, and mediocre salsa. Their "chips and salsa" side was baked pita chips that were soggy. Not a single one of us liked our meal and almost considered leaving halfway through our stay there. The weirdest part was that they never gave us our checks, just brought out a card reading device that only told us our total price regardless of the breakdown (I swear they overcharged us). It's super awkward having the waitress walked around to each person and making the transaction right there which took FOREVER. I usually give newer places like this a second chance, but will never give this one again. Don't waste your money. read more
