I thought I entered Twilight Meadows, but mayhaps the Twilight Zone has taken me back to a simpler time of simple food and decor that reminds me of my grandparents. And like my grands, I love this place too. Though unlike them, you can only drop by until 2pm. We stopped in on a Saturday around 12:30 to find ourselves a corner booth available. There were already breakfast menus at our seats, and a waitress quickly came to add lunch menus while offering us drinks. The water is iced, with bendy straws, and the coffee comes in a quaint little cup with offers of refills. It was better than the TimmyHo's he had at breakfast, as was the food that followed. It took long enough to know the food was made to order yet not so long that hunger pangs would kick in. When it was set in front of us I had to stop in awe. The presentation made my stomach pipe up, hungry. Sure the skillet wasn't in a literal skillet, but the balance of homey dishware and vibrant food was more than I had expected for something affordable in the middle of nowhere. My mate got the (not)skillet, which had a base of crispy, tots that were a happy level of greasy without feeling like your arteries would hate you later. With the mushrooms, marinara, onion and shredded mozz, the addition of sausage, a mild and moist Italian crumbled in, it gave supreme pizza vibes, topped with fluffy egg. I personally went for an omelet, downsizing an egg and a dollar to better suit my hunger. I went for garden veggie, no cheese. There was plenty onion and mushroom, with ample thick tomatoes and broccoli that still retained a bit of its bite. Neither of us felt it necessary to additionally season our food. We split two sorts of toast. The cinnamon raisin was softer than the crunchy sourdough, both lightly graced by melting butter, thankfully not slathered. I managed to finish my plate in one sitting and my mate took the rest of his to enjoy later, easily reheated in a takeout container. The bill was incredibly affordable given the quality and quantity of food. I probably won't be in Attica again, but if it were closer to home, I'd be back. read more

Despite living only 15 minutes away since August of 2019, today was my husband and my first time at Twilight Meadows. We arrived around 12:15pm with a number of other patrons, and were seated quickly. The food and service were excellent. I enjoyed the french toast special which was apple cheesecake stuffed french toast (with bacon instead of sausage) and a side of home fries, while my husband had the western omelette with cheese and home fries. The portions were fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant was packed, but everyone was taken care of and the food was served within a very reasonable time frame. The prices were excellent and we really enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be back. read more

I'm from Philadelphia, and I came to Twilight Meadows with family for breakfast. My vegetable omelet was delicious and everyone else was very happy with their meals! The friendly owner came over to chat with us for a bit, which made our visit extra-special. We will be back! read more

We were driving to buffalo from nyc, needed to eat, and were lucky enough to find Twilight Meadows. The owner, Trisha, served us. They have an expansive menu, and everything we got was delicious. Trisha is a sweetheart, very friendly. Her parents opened the restaurant in 1955. The prices are extremely reasonable. I started with a cup of clam chowder and thoroughly enjoyed my Reuben sandwich. My husband got the chopped sirloin and was able to choose two sides and a vegetable. He got applesauce, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. My son enjoyed his fried buffalo wings and fries. We also got the root beer, they serve A&W, which is the best kind! We went the day after thanksgiving, and the place was decked out with Christmas cheer. Definitely go here to support a local, family business, but also just because it was so darn tasty and offers a wonderfully pleasant experience! read more

We only get to come here once a year when we are in town for the rodeo but we look forward to coming! Friendly service and yummy food. We had some elderly people come in and they were extremely rude, standing over our shoulders waiting for us to leave. This is a very small, cozy place. I would have liked our server to kindly ask those people to step back but maybe they are regulars. Other than that, it was very good and before grumpy and grumpier came in, the atmosphere was easy and nice. read more

Just visiting Western New York. Ran across this family run diner Cafe established in the 50s. Broad menu. Came in for lunch on a Sat at 1:45pm and realized they were closing at 2pm. We were waved in anyway. Had a wonderful triple decker ham sandwich and husband had a tasty meatball sandwich. All fresh ingredients. Service was fantastic and owner provided us with local information and recommendations. We are from afar so probably it was a one time visit but we would definitely return if we could. Prices reasonable too. Weekdays have much longer hours. Apparently they have a big breakfast crowd. read more

Honey & I traveling through from our anniversary stopped in. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere set off great vibes. We were the only minorities in the place, but felt at home. The wattress was awesome, very sweet & the only server. And was still very attentive & took care of everyone's needs in a timely fashion. My honey got a three egg sausage/cheese omelette and toast. The omelette was perfected, the sausage was plentiful. The toast perfectly toasted & came out already butter! I had coffee; sausage busicult; homefries; one egg over easy w/ side of sliced tomatoes & root beer. The egg perfectly cooked. Homefries had onions, yummy. The coffee was strong like I love it. The root beer came out very chilled and packed a great kick. I wasn't feeling the gravy or the biscuit. The biscuit's texture was gretty and dry. The gravy had a great flavor, the huge sausage chunks messed it for me. My opinion, would have worked better if the sausage was to the side or grounded. They have a huge breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. But, great all day breakfast spot. I would go again & would recommend it to friends/family. read more

This place... I don't even have any words to describe! The food was delicious, with wonderful outdoor seating and indoor seating. Staff is so nice and caring about your service. They aren't busy when came and take time to make sure that you have everything you need. The food was delicious and well prepared. I suggest to get the turkey sandwich. This is an old time diner with fantastic food, wonderful service and the BEST root beer EVER! Anyone who says that is not an amazing place has never been to a true diner. This place has been around since I was in school which was decades ago! Only a restaurant with great food, service and ambiance would be around for that many years! Definitely worth a try! Wanted to get a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning after camping nearby, so we tried Twilight Meadows. Looked decent when we walked in, the restaurant was very clean and bright. Then it went downhill...Took forever to get waited on, even for just a cup of coffee. Once that came, we waited again for the sole waitress to take our order. When she came to take our order, she whined and complained about how slow the cook was today, and that "she (the cook) was tired that day"....Sorry,, not the customer's (my) problem. Our order took a half hour to come, (for breakfast)!! I had Texas French Toast, my husband had the traditional egg, home fry, sausage plate. Food was 5/10. Portions were small too, and I am NOT a big eater. Coffee was awful, and they didn't even offer any flavored creamer so I could "disguise" the taste. We will not return...it's too bad, we would of been repeat customers. read more

Stopped in this past Monday for lunch and what a mistake that was! I noticed the specials board listed an Open-faced Turkey Sandwich w/ potato and Vegetable for $9.50. I figured if they're getting $9.50 for this, it must be real fresh roasted turkey and not deli turkey. I even asked the loud, somewhat annoying waitress if the turkey was real. She replied that it "sure was" and that they slice up "ourselves", all with the demonstrative arm motion of slicing the meat on a slicer. She went on to rave about the "sauce" they cover it with. I don't know about this place but usually an open faced turkey sandwich has gravy on it. Well, she brought my plate and set it front of me, and asked, "How does that look for ya?" I looked at the plate, visibly dissatisfied and with a loss of words. I just didn't know what to say. The waitress noticed my disappointment and just said, rather flippantly, "Uh oh... uh oh!" Then she walked away. On the plate was a scoop of barely warm mashed potatoes and shriveled half portion sized wad of turkey sandwich meat on top of us one slice of white toast covered with some sort of sauce. Whatever sauce it was it was not gravy. Frankly, it looked like mushroom soup with the mushrooms strained out and combined with some leftover gravy to produce a rather tasteless, bland sauce. It taste more like some house brand Cream of mushroom than turkey gravy. Needless to say I was disappointed. For $9.50, I expected more on the quality side and a touch more on the quantity side. The Twilight Meadows shouldn't expect to see me again any time soon. They won't rip me off again. read more

I have worked in Attica for 5 yrs and this was my first time there... Their previous reviews are still valid: friendly, prompt service and I had their OMG cherry cheesecake french toast! Fantastic!!!! My associate had that and their homefries which were perfectly crisp on the outside and creamy in the middle! Great breakfast! read more
