Upon walking in they have you wash you hands, I appreciate this because it helps reduce the spread of germs. But the staff is inanely unfriendly and very unwelcoming. They also don't tell you or have it posted anywhere that it's cash only! They just tell you after they've done the service and want you to go to the ATM to get cash. The services are pricey for what you get. The lady I had didn't even bother to check and see if I liked the color, how other places usually do before finishing. Never did she ask me if I liked it. And I ended up going back to my usual salon to have my normal color put on. The color she put on was very different from what the swatch showed. My toes looked like I had almost nothing on them. Why I love it: - There is free street parking and a parking lot for convenience - Nail techs are kind, professional and skilled - They're great about taking reservations but you can walk in too - The space is clean and tidy, with free water, coffee etc. - The massage pedi chairs are so comfy! My nail tech was extremely rude to me while selecting colors. She left me twice during my service and was also over charged. My daughter's nail tech cut her cuticle and messed up a nail and wouldn't fix it. The service was also done very sloppy and nothing special at all for a $70 gel full set manicure. read more

I've been going to T-Luxe since May 2023, and it's currently August 2023, for both my pedicure and nail art needs. Based on my experience, I will continue coming back. Tracey does all my nail art, and it always turns out absolutely fantastic. I can't count how many compliments I get on my nails, and she does just an amazing job and takes great pride in her work. I've included a couple photos here of some of the nail art we've done over the past few months. I'm also happy with the pedicures I receive, which are generally gel, Overall, both the St., Louis Park and Savage locations are clean, inviting and comfortable. I absolutely love T-Luxe. They are so friendly, kind, and helpful. We called ahead and made an appointment. They always have room to fit me in but they are also always busy so I recommend calling ahead. I got the deluxe pedicure. I love it because you get a massage, scrub, and mask with the service. On Monday, I called this place to make an apoiment for 3 people. Today which is Friday, we went to the apointment. I told the worker that we want 2 pedicure and 1 manicure. They pull the 3 of us to do manicare. I told them, we want 2 pedicure and 1 manicure. They didn't understand or speak English. There was lots of customer and worker. We were seated and started our pedicure. The woman didn't turn on my massage chair. I asked her if the chair works? No response. I turned on myself. I felt like they rushed on the pedicure. I don't think my feet was soak for 5 min or longer. They charged me $70 for 2 gel pedicure and $70 for a gel manicure. Just solid plan and no design. I think they over charged me for my 2 gel pedicure. No gel pedicure cost more than $60 from their website. They charged me $70, so I guess they just wanted a FORCE minimum of $10 tip on top of what-ever tip we will give them. I was told that they accept cash only and no card. BUT so-call convenient with an ATM machine inside their shop which charge $3 fee for taking out cash and ofcrouse my bank is going to charge another fee separately. Unfortunately, I had no appointment but they squeezed me in for a gel manicure, which took 45 minutes. The cost was $30, which is so reasonable. They told me that a gel manicure and a regular pedicure takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I have to come back for a pedicure. The place is clean and very efficient. And my nails look beautiful. After having a horrible experience at another shop, I called T-Luxe and got scheduled for the following day. They were very helpful in understanding my need to have my appt time honored (within reason) and even called me back to offer another time slot that had opened up due to a cancellation. The salon is beautiful and clean, with everyone currently wearing masks and working with plexiglass between technicians and clients. I showed a few inspiration pics to my technician, who was very attentive and helpful. She consulted with another tech and also shared the pricing for my nail art before beginning. It is important to note that this is a cash-only establishment. They do tell you this on the phone when booking. I enjoyed a shoulder massage and was able to relax while getting my old gel polish removed. My technician, Sarah, was nice and friendly but also let me sit in silence (a huge perk as a mom of 3). Sarah brought the color selections to me based on my requests and then helped me by picking one she felt would be best. I was concerned it might be too dark (getting picky for my wedding nails) and she has no problem looking at my inspiration again to find the perfect one. I love the one she found for me. She also enlisted the help of another tech to help with securing the flowers to my nails. She took the time to ensure everything was just as I wanted. Her boss also took pics so she could make more of the flowers so that when I come back in 2 weeks for my wedding, they will be ready. Really, A+ all around for the service. TLDR; rude service, lack of skill, false advertising, poorly done pedicure, cash only, obvious push for tips. I'm so surprised this place has good reviews. I was in a group of 6, all for pedicures; we scheduled our appointment over a month ahead of time for a less busy weekday evening, after confirming they could accommodate a large group. We understandably paid a deposit since we had a large group, and the place called 3 different times to confirm we were coming in despite us confirming each time. We did not all arrive together, but all before or at the expected time. 3 of us walked in together and one of the women asked us if we were the group of six. Then said, "there's only 3 of you, where are the rest?" To which I responded, "oh, they're parking". She then said, "Okay, then where are the other 2? Thats only 4 people". I'm like, "They're parking" and she said again, "okay but where are the other 2 people" and I said, "All 3 are parking" and she was like, "oh okay. Go wash your hands then pick your color". So we did that. Then we all sat at our chairs while one woman turned on all 6 waters, all which were scalding hot to the point we couldn't put our feet in. We mentioned it, and the single woman then turned all the water cold. She then shut the water off, the bowls only filled enough to cover your toes but not the tops of your feet. Then all the other women came over who would be doing our nails. No soap or anything was ever added to the water in the bowl our feet soaked in, there were no jets or additional running water, and it ended up draining out over time. None of our massage chairs worked, so we all asked and they switched on a few of ours from the backs of the chairs, but some of us went without. My personal pedicure, the removal of my previous gel polish was painful (which I've never experienced, I get monthly pedicures with gel) and she left some behind that shows through the color that was done. They didn't do any exfoliating or washing, my calves remained dry the entire pedicure which is really strange. They did lotion my legs and feet and gave a good massage, so I can give props to that at least. One woman doing my friend's nails was getting pissed and rolling her eyes because for whatever reason the color wasn't depositing on her nails and they had to try 3 different polishes for anything to show up. She ended up just saying, "yeah that works" because the worker was visibly annoyed and she didn't want to make things worse. The workers didn't engage in ANY conversation with us until the very end, when they suddenly seemed interested in us. It felt very superficial and came suspiciously close to the time we'd have to pay. When we asked about payment during booking/confirmation, they said they were cash only or took Venmo. When we got there, half the women didn't know what Venmo was. I offered Venmo to my worker and she said, "I'd prefer cash if you could pull from the ATM we have". I did just that, and of course the ATM charged a fee, which said, "t-luxe nails charges a $3 service fee to use this ATM", meaning that money goes into their pockets, which is likely why she requested cash. At this point, all of us felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied. The least relaxing pedicure of my life and a total waste of $60. Will not be going back. read more

I've been coming here for years!! When COVID-19 happened and the world shut down I was terribly sad to not have my monthly nail appointments! I can tell you when they opened back up June 1st... they were ready! Complete with temp taking, mask/glove wearing.. plastic shields separating the customers at the pedicure and manicure stations. They have taken the sanitizing and cleaning to another level! A+ 5 STARS! AMAZING JOB! This is the best salon I've ever been to.. and I've been doing my nails for over 20 years! PS. My gel pedicure was finished 15 minutes before anyone else in my party of 4 because my technician was really rushing through the service. She left polish uneven and missed in some places. She also left in the middle of my service a couple of times to go talk to customers at the front desk. The owner Tracy is wonderful from what I understand because family has been seeing her for years. It sucks to pay so much for a service then feel like I alone did not get the service I paid for. First time getting my nails done here. Met up with a college friend to get our nails done for girl's day. My friend got gel manicure and regular pedicure. I got the deluxe pedicure which gets a scrub from your feet up to your knees. The staff was very friendly and conversational. The salon looks small from the street view but once inside its expands to the back giving room for at least 15 pedicure chairs and manicure tables. We both made our appt for 10am on Saturday and they were overbooked so I needed to wait a bit before a technician is available to give me a pedicure. It was fine since I could not next to my friend and chat with her while she's getting serviced. The price was ok and I had to tip generously because both my cousin and older sister works in the nails industry. I felt they were too busy and that it was rushed I'm that if I wasn't getting the expensive service then the quality of time spent to make sure my nails were ok was minimum. I've had a natural French manicure many times and have never had them come off so quickly. The technician that had some my nails, was nice but she didn't do the polish very well and one the fresh tips were painted, see didn't even go over the edges to remove the polish that was smeared or to round of to avoid chipping. I know I've been spoiled with having family members working in the industry and so my expectations for quality is very high and that's why I don't get my nails done very often because I don't like the disappointment and feeling like I had paid too much (with tips) for a mediocre service. read more
