I'll never be the same after this Frosted Flakes cookie Sammie. The flambéed bananas in the middle were everything and more. Pair it with a lavender matcha with blueberry cold foam and I can go out happy.

The cutest spot and everything is amazing. The best cakes in Winston, I swear by it! You'll want to try one of everything. Honorable mention for the macarons and cosmic brownies!

I've been meaning to stop in since I live so close so today, while out walking my dog, I decided to stop in! It was so cute inside! I got an iced pumpkin spice chai latte (with a cute pink heart shaped straw!), a rosemary focaccia, and a chunky chocolate cookie! The woman working the counter was very sweet and didn't mind letting my dog hang around as we waited. So glad this place is open on Sundays now and that I finally stopped in! There's more goodies to try and my dog loved it, too!

This is the cutest little bake shop I have had the pleasure of coming across. They are open a limited number of days per week, so be sure to check their business hours before visiting. Located in West End, so there is also plenty of walking and shops to visit before or after you stop for sweets. My favorite item to purchase are the macaroons, but everything looks like it would not disappoint. This cute shop delivers through and through!

I have been dying to try this bakery, because I am dairy-free. I heard they have amazing vegan cinnamon rolls. I went around 2pm on a Saturday and I was told they just put the cinnamon rolls in the oven and it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I told her I would come back later. I went to my friend's place and didn't get back to the bakery until 4:30. The cinnamon rolls were all sold out and the cashier said she saved one for me, but she thought I wasn't coming back. That was really sweet of her and I didn't expect the cinnamon rolls to sell out that quick. Instead, I got a vegan pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, which was good. I'll surely be back to try their other baked goods. They do post a daily menu on instagram FYI.

I visited The Humble Bee for the first time, and I enjoyed it very much. I follow them through Instagram and see their daily bake goods, so I been dying to try it out. Thinking it was going to look like any other bakery I've been to, the Humble bee was a little different. I didn't realize how small of a selection she had, or maybe because it was later in the afternoon. Not the average cupcake and cake slice kind of bakery, but I love the uniqueness this small business has! I picked a few macaroons, a pastry, and a brownie cupcake. OMG, soo good! All of it! They all had unique names to them, but they were definitely worth a try! I'm always up for risk, so I was ready to try something new and I definitely wasn't disappoint. She also offers vegan and gluten free! Can't wait to come back to try other items!

Winston has a ton of great bakeries, and Humble Bee is certainly one of the top spots. I love their colorful, cozy interior. They're currently offering colorful meringue pops, brownies, cookies, and fun-flavored marshmallows. I got one of each of the daily macaron flavors - four of which were plant based. Their macarons are perfectly baked and have lots of fun flavors, such as Oreo, matcha, fig & honey, and pumpkin pie. This is a wonderful local spot!

Ran across this little specialty bakery purely by chance on our way to nearby restaurant. Glad we did! Love the fact that they specialize in gluten-free products even though I don't require them. I also appreciate the fact that they use only natural ingredients. By the time we got there around 2:00, our choices were limited but we did select a chocolate chip cookie that was delicious and a devilish looking chocolate lava cupcake/muffin/brownie kinda thing that we warmed up and ate the next day. Moist, rich and full of cherries and it was so uniquely awesome that I fear that I can't describe it without using the F-word... it was indeed Fabulous. Wish they were closer by. Hope to return for those macaroons!

The blueberry one was so tiny...and for over $3 a piece, not really acceptable.

I'm always on the hunt for macarons, so when my girlfriend and I were in the area for lunch, we decided to take a trip to The Humble Bee Shoppe. First off, parking is a pain. We circled the block twice before someone pulled out of a parking spot. There is street parking and a small gravel lot on the corner, but both were full. And weirdly enough, the gravel lot had a sign that said "no parking," but I'm not sure what else the lot would be used for. The shop itself is cute. The storefront is pretty with hanging flowers and some sidewalk seating, though it's tight. The inside is simply decorated, with a small display of desserts ranging from macarons, cookies, brownies, and muffins. Don't expect to have a lot of options of anything. We ordered a box of macarons (10 for $30). None of the flavors were labeled but the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and went over all the flavors with us. I opted to get the box because the price point for a single macaron is higher than anywhere else I've gone. We tried every flavor- raspberry, strawberry, lemon, pistachio, honey lavender, cookie butter, hot fudge sundae, salted caramel, and blueberry, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed. The only one I actually thought was good was the lemon. My girlfriend liked the cookie butter as well. All of the others lacked flavor. The blueberry didn't taste like anything at all. I also noticed when we opened the box that one macaron was noticeably smaller than the rest. It was barely the size of a quarter. Overall, I was disappointed in the experience. For the cost of that box, I expected something much better. I'm somewhat of a macaron connoisseur and always seek out macarons in every place I travel to. I've had amazing macarons in Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh, and Asheville. But the Triad is a total flop when it comes to macarons and The Humble Bee didn't change that. I guess I'll have to keep looking...or traveling.

The cutest little bake shop! Staff are so friendly and accommodating. My favorite part is that they offer gluten free and dairy free options. I've tasted macarons from around the world and these are good and seemed fresh. Need to satisfy your sweet tooth check it out! Notes: - not a lot of seating (plan to take to go) - coffee is available but limited -parking is just storefront - Closed normally on Monday and Tuesday

Cutest, most creative bakery in town. The owner is always creating new items and experimenting. She drives to bring fun to your food and drinks. It looks good AND tastes good.

They have fun combinations and flavors and are always beautiful, but sometimes they are quite dense, sometimes super moist, and sometimes dry and will nearly choke you. My default cupcake is always the yellow cake with chocolate icing. I feel like it's hard to mess up. However, I tried a cookie this most recent time and didn't love it. It was really thick and hard to eat. The flavor wasn't great, either. This is definitely somewhere to stop in and try- just to say you did it. They were on Cupcake Wars, after all.

I even asked the barista if he remembered to put the espresso in it and he said that he did. I'm not so sure... this time I ordered something different. I asked which flavors of syrups they had and also if they were Housemade. The mark of a true gourmet coffeehouse is housemaid syrups... The girl told me that they don't make the syrups in this location, but at their Charlotte location and they're brought up here. They had the typical ones: vanilla hazelnut and mocha. I chose to get a regular iced oat milk latte sweetened with a little honey with cinnamon powder. The flavor of the espresso is very good and bold and it blended well with the cinnamon and honey. I also ordered two pastries, including A chocolate chunk cookie and a blueberry muffin. I ordered the blueberry muffin because a customer behind me said that the blueberry muffin is his wife's absolute favorite of all the blueberry muffins she's ever had! That sold me on it! The same kind customer mentioned something about a chocolate chunk cookie as he was asking his friend who was already sitting down what he wanted. Again, when I heard chocolate chunk cookie, I had to have one! They had samples of chocolate chip bread that was tasty, but it seemed to have sugar on it which though it is very common in most bakeries I do not prefer. I have no idea why they are putting sugar on top of pastries that are already sweet. It is likely due to the fact that most Americans are addicted to sugar! The complaint that I have is that it took forever for the barista to make my iced latte... I have no idea why... At one point after she had been working on it for several minutes she had to go get more oat milk but before that, I don't know what was taking her so long. Anyway, Copain has a cool vibe and they were playing very beautiful music that suited the vibe very well. The blueberry muffin was tasty and full of fresh blueberries but again it had sugar on top of it! The chocolate chunk cookie was also very large, fresh and soft. It was full of chocolate chunks, and I could even taste a hint of sea salt. Again, it was a little too sweet for me, though. There were several customers in Copain Bakery and Provisions enjoying their coffees and food. They have lots of edible items, including sweet and savory ones sandwiches, salads, croissants, muffins, cookies, brownies... They have ample amount of items to choose from to suit mini a distinct pallet. The service was also very friendly and warm. The prices were also what I considered to be excellent as I paid a total of less than $20 and that included the tip for my two pastries and my 16 ounce iced oat milk latte!
