Saw that a tiktok influencer did multiple reviews on this restaurant and the food looked good so I wanted to give it a try. We ordered two lemon drops, the wings with the house seasoning and a seafood boil with snow crab and shrimp. They had a special where you get a half a pound of shrimp free with the purchase of a pound. The food was very underwhelming though, to say the least. The boil seasoning was a thick, gravy like consistency.. the wings and lemon drops were okay but my glass was sticky from the simple syrup that was used to put sugar on the rim. One and done experience. I don't see a reason to ever go back.

This is what I received. Clearly not 2lbs.

I've been a regular here for a while and usually order the same thing: 2 lbs of crawfish with 2 corns and 2 eggs. Up until now, I've never had any issues. Unfortunately, this recent visit left me really disappointed. I placed a to-go order for my usual, but when I got home, it was clearly not 2 lbs more like 1 lb and the crawfish were very small, with several broken pieces. I understand that size can vary depending on the season, but this batch felt well below their usual standard. I called the restaurant and spoke with the store manager, who told me I could bring the order back for a refund or have it remade. I decided to return it and get it remade. When I arrived, the store manager took the food to the back and came back saying the kitchen manager had weighed it and claimed it was 2 lbs (which it definitely wasn't). He stated that the kitchen manager said they could reheat it with more sauce or refund me. I politely asked for it to be remade just as he (the store manager) had offered over the phone but was told that the kitchen manager refused, saying it would be a "waste" since they'd also have to throw out the batch I returned and insisted the portion was already accurate. I reminded the store manager that he had said a remake was possible, but but he stood by the kitchen manager's decision and refused to remake the order. I asked who was actually in charge, and he explained that he manages the front of house (FOH) while the kitchen manager controls the back of house (BOH), treating them like separate operations. I understand the distinction between FOH and BOH, but ultimately, they are part of the same business. As the store manager, he should have been the highest authority on site especially in a situation like this, where the goal should be resolving a customer issue. As someone with food service management experience myself I found that explanation frustrating and inadequate. For a $21 order, it really didn't seem like a big deal to remake and comp it, especially for a returning customer. I even asked to speak with the general manager and was told they were out of town so the person I was dealing with was the lead manager on shift. Still, he wouldn't remake the order and just gave me a refund. I wasn't even looking for a refund I just really wanted it remade because I was genuinely craving crawfish. That's what made the whole situation more frustrating. I came back hoping for a simple fix, not a refund, and instead was met with pushback and no real effort to make it right. While I'm glad I receive a refund, the way the situation was handled left a bad taste in my mouth. There was no genuine effort to make things right, and it felt like the kitchen manager had more authority than the store manager, the very person who should be responsible for addressing and resolving customer concerns. There seemed to be little concern for customer satisfaction and no willingness to work together to resolve the issue. I expected better service, especially from a place I've supported regularly.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in June!

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

We started by sharing a couple of appetizers - the smoked redfish dip and the biscuits. I'm weird about smells and aftertastes - and was hesitant to try the smoked redfish dip. The dip was flavorful and very smoky - the crackers it is served with were amazing. The aftertaste was tolerable, but a little fishy for me. The biscuits - I could write poems about them. I'd go back to eat baskets of just those biscuits. Highly recommend. My husband ordered the fried catfish platter - it was amazing. The catfish nuggets were crunchy and HOT (temperature), the fries were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppy was a crunch heard around the globe. Sadly, the shrimp and grits arrived to the table at room temp. The flavor was really good, but I was worried to mention the temp issue and have the kitchen nuke them in the microwave. The red beans and rice were similarly room temp and congealed. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, the service was solid, and on a Tuesday evening we could have walked in and been seated quickly. Overall, it was a nice evening with our friends. Sometimes the company makes up for small disappointments.

Arrived Sunday at noon and we were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Our server was super friendly and helpful since this was our first time eating here. She recommended the lychee lemonade and it did not disappoint. Although my man thought it was too sweet.. I thought it was just right. For starters we ordered hush puppies and seafood gumbo. The hush puppies are really good and I also liked the tartar sauce. When the seafood gumbo came out and it was sat on the table, I smelled a foul odor. It smelled spoiled. I told my man and he said he thought it was the crab, The crab smelt funky. He did tell the server and she told the manager and they removed it from our check. We think maybe the crab was frozen and or spoiled. I ordered The fish and chips. A really good portion and the flavor was good. I did like the fish and french fries. The coleslaw was just okay not my favorite. My man ordered a pound of very spicy black mussels and 2 lb of very spicy live crawfish. The flavor was good. Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.
