Let's say this 1st, they are hard to beat when it comes to covid precautions. They require mask, they have sanitizer, all staff are required to wear mask and they are practicing social distancing. The restaurant decor puts you in the vibe of if you did a annual hunting trip what your cabin in the woods would look just like. Except this cabin was complete with the elite hooter restaurant waitresses lol. With that being said the servers here are amazing! Hands down top notch service not just good to look at. These are really well trained servers that understand customer service they even make time for small talk. They kind of double teamed my table the whole time and were really on top of making sure my glass stayed refreshed and I got everything I needed before I actually needed it. The wings are the star here you can get them a variety of ways.... breaded, non breaded, bone in or out, and the champ of them all smoked then grilled with a array of sauces, naked, or dry rubbed!! One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Came here to watch the IU football game. Ordered 36 wings for the table before the game started. 2-1/2 hours later we still had no wings despite bringing it to their attention. The manager came out twice after that to tell us they would be right out. 20 minutes later our wings come out...cold. Inedible cold. We obviously didn't pay for any food but the experience was terrible. The waitress was the bright spot. I feel like she did everything she could but the entire situation was awful. We sat and watched table after table being served wings for over 3 quarters of a football game. Nothing about this situation was acceptable. Well as for the food it was tasty however they ran out of smoked bbq ribs so I settled for the tacos (mix and match) they were tasty with a side of flies swarming around! I do understand the concept of having an open air but what if you didn't want to sit outside. My tacos were very good and tender, the chili was meaty meaty.. and as for hubby's sandwich he said it was good! Now about the service.. we walked in there was already a group of men ahead of us however we all stood at the stand which reads "please wait to be seated" so we waited and waited some more before I asked one of the staff do we seat ourselves? That's only when someone came over to seat us! Now I do understand that post pandemic servers are few and far between so I didn't take that to heart but once we were seated we weren't told that for the menu you have to scan with your phone (which is no problem but just inform us of that when we're seated) then we weren't provided with any flatware so I just got up and retrieved our own from the work station .. and lastly once we did order and received our food not once were we asked if we would like a refill of our drinks! First time at twin peaks and I was pretty pleased with my experience. I was not really expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the size of the establishment.. this place is massive. Me and a friend decided to sit at the bar where we were served by two very friendly waitresses. I ordered a tall modelo to drink with the chicken ranch sandwich (crispy chicken) and a side of buffalo. The sandwich was actually super fresh and tasted great. My friend had the meatball super which he was not so crazy about. Overall this place seems like a good spot to come get a beer and have some appetizers. Twin Peaks has daily drink specials from drafts to shots with $5 Happy Hour Bites and Drinks. They serve 29 degree beers if you enjoy ice cold beers. Many drink specials so check out the online menu. The restaurant is a great location for a meal, watch a game whether football, basketball or a fight but especially the upcoming Olympics. TV's are located everywhere and there is a pool table, a man cave and games. The menu offers all your typical Pub food plus more. Several types of Pub Fries are available (recommend Hickory Smoke Pulled Pork or Brisket Chili), Wings, Fried Pickles plus more. A lunch menu is offered Monday - Friday from 11:00 - 3:00pm. Been a usual to this place for about 4 years now and I believe that customer service is not getting any better. A couple of weeks ago I took my dad so he would know a different place for beer and wings and it was a little disappointing. I love the ambiance of this place, the design and decoration but if you don't get seated at the bar or the big tables you won't get the attention you deserve. So, it was just the two of us but we were not asked to be seated at any of the two bars and instead taken to the low tables at the right wing of the restaurant where I could tell families were placed. I'm not a restaurant manager and I know organization is a big part of this but if you're a customer and waitresses are wandering around and you can't find yours if you ask the first you see for hot sauce or the check the least you expect is being told that she is not taking care of that table and wait. This is an interesting place. I'd never been to a Twin Peaks before but I understood the concept. We popped in to watch a basketball game and get some food/drinks. We walked in and waited about 4 minutes before someone met us at the hostess stand. We were then taken allllllll the way to the back of the restaurant. We passed entire empty sections before being dropped off at our table where we waited another 5 minutes before having our server greet us and get our drink orders. I initially wanted to ask for a table not in the back, but figured it was a section/server rotation so I left it alone. We ordered a few drinks and our food. Mini beef tacos as an appetizer, the Philly cheesesteak with no peppers, extra mushrooms, and the pornstar for a cocktail. Mini tacos were awesome- 8/10. The Philly was horrible. The steak (?) was ground and not thin sliced like an actual cheesesteak, and even then, 70% of the sandwich was mushrooms with very little actual meat. The pornstar was delightful! But as we're eating, we see look around and notice that our section has had 3 other tables filled, all with black people. Coincidence? Idk. But we weren't the only ones that found it odd, as one of the groups points it out and asks to be sat somewhere else. At that point, there was what seemed to be an intentional filling of the section with two large groups of all white men. So again, idk. The whole experience was just weird. Meanwhile, our server is nowhere to be found. When we finally got our check, we had to go and find her to pay her. We joking asked "did you forget about us?" This was my third time going to this Twin Peaks location and I have yet to be disappointed. The food is always good, the services is great and the beer is greater! They have awesome drink specials most days of the week and their food is well priced for the amount that you get. We walked in and got sat right away, the last time I went it was a Football Sunday and we were still able to be sat promptly. This time our server was Jayla and SHE WAS ON IT! She was a great server and was very attentive to detail. I got the Avocado Smash Burger with a side Caesar Salad. This burger was cooked perfect and their candied bacon -- I believe they are known for it -- was my dessert. The side Caesar comes with a lot of dressing so I would suggest you get it on the side as you can always order more. We also ordered an appetizer of Loaded Fries - Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork and they were phenomenal as well - you caught a subtle hint of hickory in each bite. Yesterday when I went I noticed alot of families are there to eat. There are a ton of TV's with different sporting games being played. The food so yesterday I got the loaded potato soup and it was so, so good. I asked for green onions on the side to add to my soup. That soup was so good not salty at all. It had fresh bacon, potatoes and cheese. We also order fried pickles which was enough pickles to feed 4 people. It comes with ranch, and they were not greasy at all. They were a mild flavor pickle so not tart. I had the cheeseburger and added bacon for .99 cents. The bacon is a nice thick cut of bacon. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and mustard. The bun did break apart on the bottom for some reason. The patty is a thick piece of meat and it was very good. I will definitely go back I would like to try their Cuban sandwich. I was going to get it but she said it's on a hoagie bun. I would like to see if they can do that sandwich on their Texas toast they serve with the soup. Lastly, I would like to see this restaurant have the tables/ bar top table more spread. It's like part of the restaurant is social distancing and part of it is not. They are located in Marion County so the capacity should be less according to the Governor rules. The restaurant both times has been packed with every table filled. People do wear there mask to the bathroom, and around the restaurant. Out of town from Louisville on a guys trip to watch uofl play Purdue In football. I will say this though, these girls seemed like they truly enjoyed working there and wasn't just working there because of lack of options. Now to the dining experience - my buddy and I ordered onion rings and fried pickles to start. They were pretty good. Only issue is they don't give you a menu. You have to "scan" their bar code symbol with your phone camera to access their menu. Ugh. I kept thinking what would my 88 yr old mother do since she doesn't have a smart phone. But then I suppose she wouldn't be a patron at this establishment. My friend ordered the Mom's meatloaf which is his go to meal here. I made the never ending mistake of ordering the chicken fried steak. I will never again order chicken fried steak outside the state of Texas. I don't care where you go - Texas Roadhouse, Charleston's, Twin Peaks, they all use the same food vendor which gives a chewy cutlet that sits heavy in your stomach. NEVER AGAIN!! To wash everything down I had 3 beers. Heinekens. The first one was on tap but didn't taste like Heineken so I switched to bottles. Meh. The highlight of the night was arriving at 7:30 to watch the Colts game and at 8:15 we were informed that because there was a fight on that night each patron would be assessed a $5 cover charge.
