Ummmm I'm use to the service at the Twin Peaks in Michigan and this is far from it. The various locations in Michigan are pretty good with giving equal attention to customers. Here, not so much The waitress were not the best with checking in on us. As usual in this area there's not many black people. I'm not sure if they didn't know the relationship with my friend and I or what but he had been there before and wasn't getting the same treatment he got without me. At the end of it all he still bought them dinner, which I suggested against due to the treatment but hey, it was lingerie night I ordered my wings and burger at the same time and requested the wings first. I was told that might not happen since I wants my wings well done. And well..looking at the photo they're far from well done. Never had this issue in Michigan My friend ordered ice cream and fries and yes we requested the fries first and of course, the ice cream came out first. Title: Disappointing Experience That Hasn't Improved Over Time When Twin Peaks opened in October, we expected a few opening-week hiccups and were willing to overlook the early, unpolished service. Unfortunately, the issues have continued well beyond that first month--and that's hard to excuse. We enjoy the cigar lounge, yet it's almost always out of cigars. This is particularly frustrating considering the restaurant sits in the same parking lot as Ruiz Cigars, the finest cigar manufacturer in the state, yet they refuse to work with this hometown supplier. Instead, management brings in cigars from a non-local distributor, which strips away the local, neighborhood feel that Twin Peaks claims to celebrate. Service has been just as disappointing. On our last few visits we were seated with a server named Mahogany. When she greeted us and we began to order, she actually stopped us mid-sentence to say, "Let me stop you there--we're missing a lot of stuff because the management here sucks and they don't order what they should." Despite that claim, every single item we requested was in fact available, suggesting she simply didn't want to be bothered. She rarely checked on the table, skipped refills, and wore earbuds that kept her from even hearing us. And when a restaurant that prides itself on its chicken wings is frequently out of chicken wings--right alongside its ongoing cigar shortages--you're looking at a management problem, not just an off night. Twin Peaks had potential, but after multiple visits it's clear these aren't just opening-week growing pains--they're systemic failures. We stopped in for lunch on a whim. My husband wanted to check out the "scenic views" . The menu is a qr code which I really appreciate. We ended up getting wings, the steak salad and their adult Mac and cheese. The wings unfortunately came out cold but were still very tasty. The wings were very meaty and well seasoned. The steak salad was cooked medium rare ( which is how I asked for it) but not a lot of steak. The Mac and cheese was good but small. I will say all and all the food was good but the drinks were killer. I had the Irish trash can and it did not taste like it had alcohol in it but it hit me hard. Wanting dessert, we were close to Twin Peaks, so decided to give it try. The restaurant is located at the site of the old Claim Jumper. You can find hints of the old restaurant but Twin Peaks definitely has its own personality. So let's address the elephant in the room. The waitresses are all young girls, wearing their "daisy dukes" and very cropped flannel tops. They are hard working but friendly and welcoming. Now back to the food. My wife ordered the Apple Turnover. The Turnovers were light and flakey. The filling was flavorful but not overly sweet. The ice cream was rich and creamy, served with delicious chocolate. The Quesobirria Tacos peeked my interest. Served as a platter of 3 Tacos, the tacos were best described as "Meh". The queso and birria was good, served with a nice blend of onions and cilantro. I think it was the flour tortillas the let down the dish. Although Birria Tacos are normally served with corn tortillas, I thought I would give it a go. Nope. Stick with corn tortillas. The Tacos were served with chips and salsa. The chips were light and flavorful. Reminded me of the chips at Chevy's. The salsa was fine. Twin Peaks is a well themed restaurant. Went in on a Friday about 4:45. By the end of our visit, we had 3 different servers; one went home early, one transferred us for some reason, and the third finished it out. It took over 10 minutes for our initial drink order to be taken. We were told it was because they were "slammed" but the restaurant was less than half full. This seemed to be more due to a lack of training than poor service. Most of the servers looked absolutely confused about what they should be doing. I ordered the "spicy" meatballs. They were good, but not at all spicy. A buddy got wings so we asked for a side of "Hot as F*ck" sauce. I can assure you it's not as advertised. Several people in our group commented how cold it was in there. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the outfits the servers are wearing. I had no idea what I was walking into as I was looking for a place at the bar, one thing I did notice it was all men at the bar, then I realized it was women in black lingerie is my best description as the bartenders and servers. I felt a little out of place because my husband was in the bathroom when I ordered two beers. They ask for a credit card up front, but you can pay with cash when you check out. These girls are making bank! It took forever to get anyone to wait on me, maybe if I was a guy it might have been quicker. The beer I ordered was out and the 805 I ordered the keg blew. It was along wait to get an ice cold beer at $10.50 ea. Well you are paying for the scenery!!! We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and the fries were perfect and the sandwich was awesome! It took less time to get our food order than our beer! They do have some slot machines at the bar and lots of TV's to watch football! If you scan the menu you will find specials and happy hour. Large open spaces, animal heads mounted, a gorgeous fireplace and big screens galore. The menu is a scanned QR code, old timers ask your grandchildren how to scan on your phone before you arrive. A large selection on the menu, soups, chili, burgers, wings, chicken, tacos and more. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Service was prompt and friendly. My husband had the queso birria tacos (3) served with crispy thin tortilla chips and salsa and of course a savory yet slightly sweet dipping sauce. I, lobster rolls. 2 Hawaiian rolls piled high with a lovely mixture of flavors, fresh and a bit spicy. Unfortunately as nice the presentation and delicious, I could not distinguish the lobster at all. Twin Peaks serves 4 flagship beers. We tried what we were told was a red I.P.A. No... not red and well not an I.P.A., compared to other choices in the area. It was a nice first try. We will be back to try something else. Decided to try it, thinking Claim Jumper just renamed themselves. Turned out to be a sort of a Rocky Mountain-esque bar. Anyway, we had a bit of a wait and was wondering how they arrange the seating because there were people who walked in after that got seated first. Second turn off was that they seem to have a smoking section because I could smell cigarette smoke. And there's a separate area completely separated by glass walls and doors that seemed quieter and intimate. Not sure what that section was for. For apps, we ordered Mozzarella Cheese Bites and Wings. Not sure what the hold up was but it took a little bit before they came out. Wasn't too bad. I loved that the cheese bites were exactly that--bites. The wings were just regular. As for our entree, we ordered the Spicy Chipotle Chicken and the Sirloin Steak. Husband said the chicken ok, he substituted the mashed potatoes for the rice which he said was also ok. As for the sirloin, it was seasoned right topped with garlic parsley butter. Although they accommodated my medium rare request, it kinda looked a little more towards the medium for me. Stopped by for a second visit on a Monday, November 25th, and this time sat in an actual booth, which was very comfortable. Ashlynn took our order and was SO friendly and efficient! We ordered the Lobster Rolls AGAIN (!), and the Billionaire Bacon Burger. BOTH were excellent, as expected. We can't say enough good things about this establishment, especially for a Monday visit, which is WAY more peaceful than Football Sunday! We REALLY hope that some of the nitpicking negative reviews about the employees, etc., don't cause management to change things to ruin the "Vibe" this place most certainly has right now. Huge mistake! I was excited to try this new place that took over Claim Jumper's spot. Had no idea this was a chain, Hooters wanna be! After arriving home from a day at the Hotsprings, I was starving, with a head ache, and I needed food. Husband and I hopped in the truck, for the quick drive from the house. We walked in, and I was shocked by what I saw. Shouldn't there be some kind of Adults Only warning sign?! Arn't strip clubs in a different part of town?! To the left I glimpsed someone gyrating in a lace garter belt. I then turned to the hostess station to see three YOUNG girls with their boobs and butts hanging out.. At the risk of drawing perverts to this establishment, I must say these children didn't appear old enough to be serving alcohol. The place was freezing cold. Possibly to ensure perkiness? My husband and I were shivering, and I was perky to the point of pain. Star reduction 1 They don't have a paper menu, you have to scan the code on the table. Star reduction 2 I saw more jiggly unattractive butt cheeks here than at the Hotsprings. This cannot be sanitary! Those parts have touched the toilet seat, and have not been washed prior to brushing against things around my table. Star reduction 3 Food arrived. I used to frequent Twin Peaks weekly for a multitude of reasons - the wings are the best from a sports bar in Reno, the ICE cold beer, Whisky selection, the great service, and - of course - the atmosphere, but have minimized going to maybe once a month. TP Reno started off great. A great sports bar experience found in any of their locations, nationwide. Now? The food quality is a roller coaster. Gone are the theme days/weekends outside of the way overdone cowboy/rodeo Fridays. Gone are the hiring standards - yes, corporate has standards set. If it were not for some (definitely not all) of the great servers/bar tenders - Danica, Willow, Lucci, Brooke and a couple of others - along with the ice cold beer, and all the TVs, TP Reno would be just another average sports bar... The owners need to step it back up, or this will be just another failed restaurant due to poor leadership. read more

My friend really liked the chicken tacos but I had the worst steak salad ever. I told them they should call it pico de gallo salad because that is all I could taste. And the flavors of the dressing and pico fight with each other. Service is good. It is just exactly what I thought it would be: lots of TVs with servers who are well endowed and scantily clad. We discovered this chain one night in Odessa TX when everything else was closed. We have since been to different Twin Peaks in 4 different states. Too bad there's not one close to where we live. The wait staff is always friendly and polite, even to me. They've never made me feel strange about being there. The restaurants are always clean and they are set up for easy handicap access My favorite burger is the Billion dollar Bacon. My husband likes the spicy one. Went with my wife after their recent opening. They were still working the kinks out in the bar area but overall a good visit. Don't have games at every seat at the bar, it in fact doesn't have much rhyme or reason. Drinks comped, food not. Good selection of beer, cocktails well made. Happy to have new restaurant in town and everyone must feel the same as there was quite a long wait. But hostess were friendly! I think they are still working out some kinks with service, kitchen and bartenders. It took more time than i'd expect to receive drinks. But they were tasty. Food took a while to come out, and our appetizer ended up coming out only a few minutes before our main course, which always feels like a rush to eat. We ordered the mozzarella bites, the smokestack burger, and 12 boneless wings(bourbon teriyaki and garlic parm). The food was very good! Inside is nicely done! However i'll warn folks that it seems like more than 50% is smoking/cigar lounge seating so that may increase wait time if your strictly wanting non smoking area. Overall, outside of a few services kinks which my guess is just due to being so new, food and drinks were very good and we'll definitely be back to try the happy hour deals! read more

I normally like Twin Peaks and haven't been since the Sacramento location closed. It was good. Now after moving to the Reno area, we decided to go on Father's Day. The hostess was atrocious, probably lack of experience, but she sat us in the Man Cave even though other tables were available and then forget to tell the waitress that she sat us there. So needless to say we waited for them to serve us. At the time they weren't busy but after 20 minutes we had to get up and ask for service. Now the waitress tried to make it right, but because the hostess didn't tell her that we were there she was frustrated and messed up our order. She and the owner eventually fixed it, but the inexperienced hostess even delivered our fixed order to wrong table, so by that time we were done and took the food home. We will try again later, but they need to fix the hostess. read more

Back again at Twin Peaks for the third time. I had the Avocado Smash Burger with Billionaire's Bacon. It made me feel like I was part of the Billionaire's Boys Club. My server was Leilani, who was kind and absolutely gorgeous. You don't get to choose your server so it comes down to luck on this one. The food was great, the beer was great and service was fantastic. My only disappointment was they had UFC on almost every television and I couldn't watch any college basketball. The food was mid. I ordered the ribs and they were almost cold I can tell they were probably sitting under a warmer . I think they used way too much bbq sauce on the ribs to the point that's all you tasted was sauce . The Mac and cheese wasn't good at all but it was hot. Once our order started to come out the manager come up to us to let us know that they will not have the pot roast today. He apologized and gave my son a complimentary coupon for a pot roast next time we can back. He also comped whatever he wanted for this day. My son ended up with steak instead and was super happy. He even got a surprise dessert. The cinnamon toast cheesecake. The cheesecake was soo good. My sons day turned around because of this managers great efforts to fix their mistake. Kiki was the best server we had after coming to this restaurant 5 times. Most servers that we have had treat us badly because we are a family, but Kiki was amazing and treated us the same as every other table. She even moved us due to husband's asthma and to close to the cigar room. She was attentive and friendly. Please keep her and everyone that comes in should ask her to be your server. NOT impressed. We had a party of 6 people at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday night. This is a huge restaurant with lots of space. Not busy at all and plenty of staff for a Tuesday night. We ordered two appetizers (side salad and wings) which didn't arrive till the meals came. About 25 minutes after ordering the server came to tell us the pot roast one of our party ordered wasn't available, and she just found out... meanwhile all the other orders were up. So he had to order something completely new while all 5 other meals were brought out , they were clearly in the window a while. Food is mediocre (overcooked burgers) and service lacking. No refills on waters or iced tea provided, she did refill chips once. On the bill I noticed a military discount applied ( about $18) , which we were already entitled to given the make up of our party, so if that was to make up for the pot roast error they definitely missed the mark. And then for no reason she started yelling of us. I think she was done tired, she wanted to go home. She had a bad day. Omg she was soo disrespectful l. I've eaten here twice now. Both times the fries were barely warm. By the time you finish then, they are stone cold. The burger was ok, not the best. The bacon on my burger was not the usual chewy strips, but well done hard crumbles that tasted like sawdust because it was so dried up. . My friend ordered salmon. He said it was overcooked but not bad. The piece was kind of smallish. The restaurant has nice decor, I like the animal heads and the feel of the place but they do these screeching birthday salutes that are very annoying. Our waitresses were on both ends of the spectrum, one very fat and not what you'd expect in a hooters type establishment and one kind of thin. Both times the girl who seated us was extremely attractive and nice, best part of the place.
