If youre looking for thevmost delicious Deteoit style pizza this is your place to go! We came here during Hot August Nights and even though they were packed they have the most friendliest staff. We didnt feel rushed or like we were taking too much time figuring out what we wanted. The Bruchetta is the most delicious bruchetta we have ever had. The pizza every one we tried was delicious. The toppings are fresh and well cooked. They have lots of seating and its gives off an edgy type setting which is fun!! We have already been back 1 other time and we might make this a monthly thing to go and try something new.

    Custom and a pepperoni pizza

I had this delivered to me and boy was it a great choice. The wait was a bit long for my delivery driver but it was worth every minute. Their dough is the best for new and left overs and delivery because it is crispy and thick and can be reheated several times. Going to the location is great as well as they got pinball machines to keep you busy while you wait. I guess these pizzas take a little more time to prepare and bake but this is the only way to get it right. Setting is very down to earth but clean. They definitely live up to the hype.

Hands down one of the best pizza places in town and they have multiple vegetarian options that rock! They are also great people and do great things for the community! I love that they have pinball machines inside and there's always something on the TVs. Great place to grab 4 corners and a beer. We started off with an order of the jojo potatoes with parm and garlic on them. They go heavy with the garlic which is my favorite. We got the Saint Clair and the vegetarian cannibal and they were both amazing! Their ranch is also very nice!

My new favorite pizza place in Reno! A lively place with plenty of space, R Town Pizza's specialty is Detroit style pizza. With a bunch of different preset options, I still went with their 4-corner double pepperoni (the 313). The crust is buttery crispy, the pepperonis are the cupped kind that holds the oil inside. I bit greasy, but that was what I was expecting from this type of pie. My wife ordered the Pterosaur wing... It was massive! A large turkey wing drizzled with your choice of sauce, it was juicy and flavorful. We went with the Detroit double dip sauce (buffalo+teriyaki) and it was delicious. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread, which was nice and crispy with nice buttery garlic spread. Add their marinara sauce for dip and it was scrumptious! Overall price was a little higher ($65) for our meal but it was worth it.

    Spinach Artichoke Dip

We recently made a very last-minute visit to R Town Pizza, and I'm really glad we did! I had only tried it once before, but this was my first time actually going in and ordering a full meal. We ordered the RoboCop pizza, the spinach artichoke dip with toasted rounds instead of chips, JoJo potatoes, and a single slice pizza for my daughter. Everything was honestly so good. The service was great too, and everyone there was really friendly. We ended up sitting outside because it was such a nice day, although it did feel a little stuffy inside. If you sit outside, you order inside first and then head out to your table, so anytime we needed something like napkins or ketchup, we just had to pop back in and ask. It honestly wasn't a big deal though because everyone was so nice. The atmosphere inside was fun too -- there were pinball machines and TVs everywhere. Everything felt fresh and welcoming, and I really enjoyed sitting outside. The single slice for kids is such a great idea. My daughter's slice came as a little corner piece served in its own mini skillet with the toppings she picked. It felt like the perfect little personal pizza for a kid. The RoboCop pizza was delicious. I loved the crispy toasted cheese edges, and the toppings were amazing. It had a little spicy kick to it, but not overwhelming at all -- just perfect. I also added ricotta because I love ricotta on pizza, and it made it even better. The JoJo potatoes were great too, but the real star for me was the spinach artichoke dip. I order spinach artichoke dip pretty much everywhere I go, and this one was seriously one of my favorites. Getting it with the toasted rounds instead of chips was definitely the move. Honestly, I could've just eaten that and been happy. The only downside for me was the pricing. The food is absolutely delicious, but the pizzas are definitely pricey. In my opinion, around $21 for a four-corner and $42 for an eight-corner pizza feels a little crazy. That said, the quality and flavor were really good. Overall, I would definitely go back. It's more of a splurge/treat-yourself kind of pizza spot for us rather than an every-week place, but it was super tasty and worth trying.

I hear about this place all the time but had never been. This must be some of the best pizza in town! Detroit style with crispy edges and a soft doughy crust in the middle. Heavy with toppings! Ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip, came with tortilla chips. Served hot in a cast iron skillet and very cheesy and good! Vegetarian Cannibal and added chicken--this was my favorite, so many flavors. And the 3-1-3 which was a little greasy but that's not unusual for cup pepperoni. Their ranch is incredible, too! They have patio and indoor seating. 10/10 will come back!

Literally cannot say enough about how fantastic the pizza is here. I've been getting hounded by a friend to try it for the last year or so and finally got around to trying it the other day. My millennial heart was overjoyed with the shop's musical choices and decor elements, with several references to TMNT, Jurassic Park, Pokémon, and other popular 90's kid references scattered everywhere (even in the bathroom). My wife and I will definitely be back (probably consistently now) and we're looking forward to trying their sister pizza shop in midtown.

We're in Reno for my daughter's volleyball tournament and had read so many great reviews about their gluten-free pizza that we had to give it a try. The restaurant was a little busy when we arrived. We ordered the Confit Pterosaurs Wing to start, along with two gluten-free pizzas and one regular pizza. Unfortunately, we waited quite a while for the wing, and it didn't come out before the rest of the food as expected. My husband's regular pizza arrived first, then about 20 minutes later the wing came out, then about 10 minutes later our gluten-free pizzas. It was a bit disappointing that the appetizer didn't come out first, and overall the food took quite a while. Our waitress also rarely checked in on us. I had ordered a side of arugula with my pizza, but despite asking twice, it never came. That said, the gluten-free pizza was really good, best we have had with thick crust and the wing was great! My husband said his pizza was delicious! The food was solid, but the service could have definitely been better.

This is fun spot. I make my red sauce from scratch and this is the closest I have ever found. The staff is really nice, the food is delicious. A 4 corner is 6 slices and enough for 2, maybe 3 people. I also get the cast iron meatballs to dine in for 1/2. Pizza to go. Only slight mishap was, I ordered pizza with no bell peppers and didn't look at it until I got home. Not the end of the world as it's not an allergy situation. Overall, I love this place.

R Town Pizza is hands down the best spot in Reno. Their Detroit-style pizza is legit, thick, airy crust with the super crispy cheese edges is perfection. I got the 313 and the panopoulos. Both were incredible. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it's busy. It was absolutely packed with a constant line and waitlist. They sold out of dough by 6pm on a Friday. It is good to see a local business booming.

    D Sting (8 Corner)
    Todd E.

Ordered 3 Pizzas for Super Bowl. This is some of the best pizza I have ever had, I heard on the street it's made with a focaccia bread recipe that the owner spent a lot of fine tuning and you can definitely tell the difference. I am normally a thin crust type of person and I think this is the only style I can have that is thick. My favorite was the D Sting over the Spirit of Detroit, and I unfortunately only ordered a 4 corner instead of an 8 corner with the 313, so my friends already scarfed it down before I could try. Guess I have to go back (twist my arm). But seriously though this place is legit, I think Guy Fieri even went there recently too with one of his shows - way to represent Reno!

    Luis L.

First time and I really enjoyed it my server was the best i asked her recommendations and she did not disappoint. From the salad to the pizza just awesome. The flavors and everything was great i just forgot the name of the pizza but I definitely will be back to try more Items.

I was told about this place and decided to come here to celebrate my birthday! The interior was smaller than it looks like it would be on the outside. With a single room of 5 booths and about 6 tables. As well as a small bar with about 10 chairs. Very small for sure! Due to the small size of the place the decoration was limited, but one really cool thing was that one entire wall was one giant very weird pizza drawing. It was so weird but so cool! Our waitress was very kinda and patient with us as we took a little while to order since this place was completely new to us! One thing that kept happening that was weird was just how often any of the waitresses bringing out food would drop something. Mostly knives, but the occasional sauce cup too. It was odd... I decided to do a 4 corner Panopoulos pizza! And wow, it was delicious! The pizza was cooked very nicely all throughout, the ingredients all went so well on it, and the provided ranch was delightful! Very delicious pizza! Only complaint I had was some of the corners were black burnt. Overall this was very delightful! The pizza was very tasty, the environment was nice, and the staff were friendly! A very delightful birthday dinner for sure! I highly recommend this place to any pizza lovers!

Big fan. But I never go. However a couple work friends were available in NYE... and we last minute…read moresaid we'd meet here and so glad we did. It was low enough key for us yet still fun, it was packed and we first sat on a corner edge by the fire the only seats open and it was overwhelmingly HOT by the fire even though the ambiance is lovely. We got super lucky when a couple of ladies left before the countdown so we moved to a table. It was still decorated like Christmas inside and it was super cute. We all LOVED our drinks mine was like a boozy (honestly was there even booze in it lol) milkshake and I tried my friends, one was a special holiday drink "sugar plum fairy" which was sweeter and yummy and other friend got a baileys based martini also very yummy. I can't remember exact names but see pics haha. Really made me wanna come back for that milkshake drink sooner than the once a year or every two years I prob make it in here. For the Older crowd.

I'm here inside the Peppermill Casino, somewhere I don't usually come when in Reno. But a local…read morefriend wanted to take me to dinner at that fancy Chinese place they have here called Chi. So, after dinner he wanted to take me to this fancy Fireside Lounge for drinks after dinner. It was hella hard to find, but we did finally. It's near the Italian place called Romanza. It's supposed to be like the old school fireplace lounges the Peppermill restaurants used to have. I don't think there's any Peppermill restaurants around anymore, just this casino. My friend told me all locals get 20% off at any of the restaurants, so that's kinds cool. Inside this lounge, it's really on the dark side and there's lots of soft puffy couches and love seats. If you wanted a dark booth to make out in, this is the place! There's nice seating around the gas fireplace if you want, but those seats go fast on busy nights. I thought the music was kinda loud, but that might just be me. I don't think there's much food served in here, just fancy drinks before the making out starts! They have there monster big bowl drinks to share like a Scorpion, I think full of rum and other stuff. That thing's gonna be a headache in the morning! It was fun staying for a round of drinks, we got one of the darker booths ... you know for making out! Check it out, if you can find the lounge!
