Be careful what you ask for... TLDR synopsis: beer was so good, Caesar salad was incredible. The rest, meh... For those who care: Walking in, the hostess was talking to a couple in front of me. Courtesy is to acknowledge those waiting and saying they'll be right with you. Yeah.... didn't happen. Moving on. She came back, and when I asked for a booth I was seated at a 3 person long table. Listening skills need to improve. Plenty of booths/tables were available, and not right up close to the bar and entry was with heavy traffic. The waitress honestly could not have been less interested in what I wanted to have for lunch, didn't know the beer menu(?!?!), [Unity, or something like that.... maybe that was the hostess.... all of them spoke and moved too fast for me to track]. I swear I was asked to take a card and fill out a Yelp survey more than I was asked how I was doing or what I wanted to have for lunch and drink. Four or Five times. I got the point - they're desperate. I see why now. Maybe it's the altitude?.... Wings were good, not great. Beer (Knotty Brunette) was stellar. The serving at 29 degrees is brilliant. So good. We asked for napkins and the bartender just grabbed a handful of the little bar naps and practically threw it at us. Once we got the food, you can tell it was left out since it was barely luke warm. The chicken tenders were actually a little cold, so not fried long enough. Good place to watch the game, food and the time it takes to get anything needs to be worked on. The nachos were a joke, avoid them. The Asian ribs were good along with the wings. Flat bread were just ok, got the jalapeño popper and chicken tikka. Nothing special. If you sit near the cigar lounge, be prepared to still smell the smoke. Went for after work meal and drinks. We all know that this restaurant is a sports bar with girls "displayed". However as a very obvious gay man, i felt welcome. I came to Twin Peaks on election night to meet a group of friends. They had already ordered their food before I arrived, so it wasn't too long of a time before their food came out of the kitchen. One person in my party ordered fried pickles. They came out less than hot. They had two servers at our table to take our order, two orders of chicken strips. It took a long time to get our food. Two drink refills later, and the server telling us "they are being plated now" plus an additional ten minutes. The food was fine. The only complaint I had was that the ramekins used to put the sauce for the strips, had a ring of water around the sauce. Who doesn't love sanitizer in their ranch dressing?! So a while after we've been eating, a new waitress comes and asks us if we want to place drink orders. We were so confused because we were practically done. Another server came and brought our check, ran our cards, and returned the bill to us so we could sign. The drink waitress then returns, she's confused and asks us to pay, even though she was looking at the signed credit card slip. She takes the slips off the table instead of our empty dishes. These girls are terrible servers. They have no clue what's going on with their tables. No one in my party is eager to go back, and I was with a group of guys. I know they are new so I'll give them another chance in a few months. read more

I came here to meet up with my cousins last Friday in between appointments for lunch. This was the old location of claim jumpers so walking in reminded me of the claim jumpers layout but definitely felt brighter. It was very loud once you walk in and actually pretty busy for 1:30 in the afternoon. I had my cousin order for me and I had the fish and chips. Not too long after I sat down, I was able to receive my order first for the table surprisingly. The fish was nicely battered and the fish was nice and light. The fries for myself and my cousins were over done, almost stale. It reminded me of left over McDonald's fries after you nuke it in the microwave. 1 of my cousins ordered lobster rolls which she described as coleslaw, not much lobster. My 2 other cousins ordered Nashville hot chicken and a regular cheeseburger. My could said the cheeseburger and hot check were both good. We decided to share dessert which was Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheesecake which was good, but it was rich so it was nice to share the space with 3 other people! One thing that stood out the best was the service. We were checked on continuously which I haven't experienced in a long time since before Covid happened. BUT I went to the Reno location where Claim Junper used to be and the staff are so apathetic and judgemental it's astounding. The first waitress was oddly judgemental of what we were ordering and had tons of attitude. It's like sorry I want to wait for the fights to get further along before I eat. Just bizarre. (I'll leave removing sticks and double checking your uniform comments to myself). We moved to the bar when space opened (girlfriend and I), and this lady was just a textbook example of pure apathy. The only thing keeping my review from being 5 stars is that they have a tobacco lounge that is not sealed off well from the rest of the restaurant. I hate the smell of cigars and you can really smell them, especially near the front door when waiting for a table. I don't want to smell cigars when I'm going to order food. Now the good. I was there at an odd hour (4 in the afternoon) and they were short staffed, but my waitress was very sweet and checked on me often to see if I was doing OK. I tried the lobster BLT roll and it was pretty good. I changed my side from the seasoned fries that come with it, to sweet potato fries which were great. I arrived for a late lunch. After being seated (by the door to the cigar room, a mistake I won't make again if I go back) and waiting about 10 minutes, I was greeted and placed an order for six boneless buffalo wings and fries. My food order was taken halfway through the 2nd quarter of the Chiefs/Texans game. The food didn't arrive until the start of the 3rd quarter, so 30 minutes or more for six wings and fries. A different server brought the order out and it was almost room temp which suggests it had been sitting. The fries? It appeared as though someone just threw a small handful on the plate and they were over-salted at that. I ate three of the wings, some of the fries, and decided I wasn't going to tempt fate by eating the rest. A very disappointing first and now only visit. read more
