This is a hidden gem!!! Who would have thunk you would be able to get good Korean food from a gas station? I wasn't a believer and had to try for myself! I ordered the bulgogi, the spicy Pork bulgogi, and Korean soy ginger chicken. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I will return to support a local business and because I really enjoyed the food. The only downside is it is a bit expensive for the quantity. The portions are not the size you would expect from a K-BBBQ spot. Today we got it together and went while they were serving (check the days/times to keep from being disappointed) and we got wings and pork yakisoba. This food is FANTASTIC. I have driven past this place and wondered about it. The outside just looks like an older convenience store like a lot in the area do. I swung in to try it out after seeing it pop up on social media about how amazing the food is and what a hidden gem it is. This is a great place to go for fresh made disappointment. Three times I've been here during business hours and they are closed. Sure, the food is good. If you can get your hands on it. Last time I waste my time and gas driving out to the middle of nowhere for a heaping pile of nothing. Will never bother with this place again. It's incredibly random that in the middle of Fredericksburg there is a gas station slinging Korean food. But I love it! The menu posted on Yelp is still current and the days they are open is confusing so I would definitely call before you plan to head and get food. Tried the bibimbap and the spicy bulgogi. Both were really tasty but the spicy bulgogi was my favorite. Veggies fresh and crisp on the bibimbap which I was pleased about. My husband really likes their musubi too. Finding good Korean food outside of NOVA or Richmond has been the struggle and this extends to the Spotsylvania area. In this mart , there's a nice mom/pop owned gas station type atmosphere and it has a little selection of various things a normal gas station would have along with a slight selection of Korean snacks and ramen. It came to my surprise when I saw that this random mart in Spotsylvania had Korean food. Although the food I had was slightly overcooked, I still felt like the food here was significantly better than the other Asian options especially Korean around the area. We ordered the bulgogi and the spicy pork bulgogi. The bulgogi came with a side of macaroni salad which I thought was pretty good and a side of kimchi which was also good. The spicy pork bulgogi came with a side of a pretty plain salad. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good and very much worth the price tag. Will definitely come back again. Went in on a whim and I'm sure glad I did. They offer spam musubi at the counter around lunch time. I missed out on it once and tried the bibimbap. There is no question that this is the best Korean food in Fredericksburg, VA. I have never had actual Korean food in Korea. However, I have eaten at several Korean restaurants in the DC/NOVA area and this place is definitely up there with many of them in quality. However, in Fredericksburg, there is no contest. This place is the best. The bulgogi and jap chae are wonderful. And as a bonus, the homemade macaroni salad that the nice little lady makes in the back of that eclectic gas station is also very good. Food here is so good! We got spicy pork bulgogi (my favorite) chicken yakisoba and spam musubi. All of it was delicious and freshly made. Only comment is the musubi could use more flavor but it's still really good and the only place I know of in the area where you can purchase spam musubi. 10/10 we will be back here soon.
