Overall: good pho, family owned ambiance, a little over priced I enjoyed the pho a lot it was rich and had a good portion of noodles, but still some of the most expensive pho I've had I would come back but sparingly due to the high price. I know times are tough for everyone even buisness, but it's hard to rationalize that much for pho I saw other reviews say the inside workers felt chaotic, I see what they mean as they seem to be family working and just kind of loudly talking to eachother and instructing but I actually loved it gave a very .... Genuine? Feel. But again then I would kind of be hoping to pay less since it's not a fine dining experience I did find the workers to be very kind and personable. They seemed to have lots of repeat customers who they knew well. And that was endearing as well I think the other dishes and appetizers were just average Again, would I come back this year? What makes this place so different than any other Pho restaurant is the owner. Nearly half the customers that came in, she knew and greeted by their first name. Some of them she knew their order without them having to look at the menu. I was impressed by her ability to multi task. She was on the phone taking orders, waiting on tables, and checking customers out. There was honestly a bit of a wait due to this, but her personality and amazing customer service are was worth the wait. As for the pho-honestly was okay. The crispy egg roll was good. This was my first time trying Pho Saigon and chose to do carry out. I tried the large Pho Beef Steak. First the pros, the portion is large for the price you pay and you do get a good amount of broth. You also get a ton of noodles and I was satisfied with my steak portion. The downside was I didn't like that I had to pay extra for a little extra hoisin sauce and I also did not enjoy the flavor of the broth. The broth is a huge component when it comes to pho and I just didn't feel like this was the best I've had. To me it's a 3 out of 5. It is very hard to find pho since we are further South and I am used to some delicious pho from northern Virginia. Despite that I would be willing to come back and try some entrees. read more

Restaurant worker was extremely rude and passive aggressive to customers. Even the way she spoke to her coworker was uncomfortable to listen to. There is no need to announce to the entire restaurant if your coworker made a mistake. She was constantly yelling the entire time, making it impossible to enjoy the meal in such a chaotic environment. The pho came with barely any beef (literally two and a half slices), and the noodles were completely overcooked. Service was good but the food was not very good. Noodles were overcooked and the pho broth was not very flavorful. Ordered some garden rolls and it was not filled with the normal amount of veggies so it was mostly overcooked noodles wrapped in rice wrapper. Years ago when living in Virginia, I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant on several occasions. 25 years later, (I live in Delaware). I dined with a friend it was as if no time had passed. My family and I are recovering from winter viruses and my 5 year old requested "chicken soup" from her favorite restaurant, Pho Saigon. It was a no brainer because my husband and I also love this family owned restaurant. My husband's been dining with them for over 20 years! Last night, we placed an order for pickup during their prime dinner service & upon arrival at the designated pickup time, everything was ready! The dining room was packed out. However, they did a great job of balancing phone orders, pickup orders, and tending to those dining in. I'm always impressed with their ability to smile while moving with such a sense of urgency. This place never disappoints and always has new items to test my palate. I saw a new item it was mini steamed buns which comes with four and dipping sauce. They were delicious and savory. I normally order rice vermicelli with crispy roll and fresh herbs or banh xeo which is served with lettuce and dipping sauce but I order beef pho. The soup broth was very flavorful and amazing.
