Soooooooo good, the best kbbq in Fredericksburg for sure! Do not skip the LA Galbi or Marinated Steak.

This is the first time we have been here and the staff was friendly and the variety of chicken, beef and seafood is very good. I got the 31 dollar all-you-can-eat eat and tried a variety of meats and the spring rolls. The ice cream is a vanilla and is tasty. Beware though if you waste food there is a 5 dollar charge. It is very noisy in here but trying this was a great experience.

Came in for dinner on Sunday and it wasn't as packed. We went with the AYCE option A, meats were limited, flavors were ok. Their bang chan sides were ok too. Not a lot of options, no sauce bar, I can't complain too much. Service was good and attentive. Glad there's finally something like this in the Fredericksburg area.

Goji Go is one of my favorite dinner spots in Fredericksburg. I return probably at least once a month. For the amount of food and how good it is, it's worth a return visit! In a sea of fast food chains and Mexican restaurants, it's also a gem to find some Korean food in this area, which is shocking considering we aren't far from NoVA. I've had KBBQ in other areas of the US, and this is definitely a toned down version of it, but I still really appreciate what we have here. After reading some of the other reviews, I have to wonder if people have been to AYCE settings before, since many of them mention rules that Goji Go has in place that are commonplace in every other KBBQ setting I've had - requirements of same meal "plan" selection, charging for leftover food, time limits, no doggy bags. Make sure you get here before 7, or it will be packed, which should tell you how excited people are for this food regularly. It's a pretty average KBBQ set up, but with a more open setting as opposed to intimate booths I've seen elsewhere. There's a newly updated ramen wall and TVs showing kpop dance shows. There's a gorgeous mural on one of the walls, and if you're a tech nut, there's also a little robot that occasionally makes a turn about with meats delivered to specific tables. All of the servers are incredible, and we've never had an out of turn experience - we are provided everything we need and more, even with how busy they can get. There is a bibimbap salad bar and an ice cream machine, and you'll get a bowl of rice and opportunity for appetizers, but don't let that stray you from the real thing you should be getting, which is the meat! I always recommend starting with the brisket, getting a side of ssamjang and lettuce. Ask for more pickled raddish an 100% ask for more cucumber kimchi - it's the real star of the banchan. I think that having the greens helps offset "the meat sweats," and allows you to have more meat. Spicy pork and spicy pork belly are the true stars of the show. The marinated chicken is awesome, and the LA Galbi is nice if you want to invest a little more $. Make sure you grill your kimchi, too! The one rule I will break as a side is to get corn cheese. There's just something about the flavor that helps offset all the meat. My husband loves pairing all this with a sapporo, and I will forever get a kick out of what we call "the frog water" pitchers that have the Jinro/Tera toad on them to refill your drinks with. Highly recommend dipping in salt and sesame oil for the unmarinated meats. I do wish they offered more seafood options and that at least one steak option was offered for the cheaper "plan," but if that's worst I can come up with, perhaps you should try it for yourself and see what a stellar experience this is. After all, you can top it off with some ice cream on your way out the door!

Tried this place out last night and had no idea what to expect. It's a cool spot and the food was good. Our waitress admitted she was still fairly new and it showed but there was a gentleman that was super helpful. He stepped in and helped suggest things to try, brought us lettuce to make wraps and was really on point. I will say, when they come to swap your cooking plate, scoot back! The grease is super hot and hurts when it is accidentally dripped on your hand. Otherwise I definitely suggest trying this gem out. Only negative is how small the tables are. We were a party of 4 and it was quite small.

Beware 1 HOUR LUNCH LIMIT (was NOT disclosed) NO Complementary birthday cake/song. We decided to try this place for my daughter's 15th birthday! They charged $9 for birthday request (they charged as "special occasion") . They did take a photo and printed it for us, however it would be nice to know what you're going to end up paying for. 1 HOUR LUNCH LIMIT (was NOT disclosed) Please prepare and time your visit if you come here. We ordered 4 meat to start and we were notified that each meat is enough for the entire table but we ended up getting two meat first round. I unfortunately didn't eat all of my family meat choices and while we had a great first server (At some point our server went on break and we had another server wait on our table- no introduction) I kept looking for my server and then realized our server changed- I asked for beef bolgogi and she said we reached the time limit! So I left this place disappointed. Oh, also, they conveniently sang happy birthday in our allotted one hour time frame. It makes me wonder, if the actions experienced are all intentional. Why discourage a customer from getting two of same meats? Why sing Happy birthday when we were clearly still eating??? Why not disclose the 1 hour limit?? There is a CALL button we later realized existed that can help you grab your servers attention. I wish we would've driven to Iron Age or Meat Project, it would've been worth the drive. Sucks to be disappointed on such a celebratory and important day!! Gogi Go Korean BBQ should DO BETTER!!!

Walked in on a Saturday evening around 5pm. Nice crowd but we were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. DeWa was our server and he greeted us pleasantly, though a tad soft-spoken. Having explained that it was our first time there, DeWa patiently explained the menu and options. Sides and drinks arrived quickly as well as the food for cooking. The food appeared fresh and the portion sized were pleasing with the all you can eat B set. At least 6 staff either checked on us, delivered food or cleaned away used dishes. The brisket was a little under seasoned and the cumin pork belly but some of that is the fault of the chef (Me). As everything else was previously and nicely marinated and prepared. We enjoyed our food and sadly could not finish everything that we sampled. And so you know, no take out on the all-you-can-eat and I understand why. It was a very pleasant experience and a decent value for what we received. Not a WOW factor but this is somewhere we will definitely return.

Very nice place with the proper ambiance, staff is friendly and helpful. Our server was on top of every one of our needs. The food was very good and there was a great variety of it, I just thought it was a little overpriced, but not so bad.

Oh my goodness... this place is AWESOME! The food, the ambiance, THE SERVICE. Everything was top notch. Our server Milah was so sweet and attentive. We chose the all you can eat A. Ayce. And tried EVERYTHING. This was an experience I recommend everyone to try.

Happy we have a K bbq option now in the 'burg! The service was great, the food fresh and flavorful. We did the AYCE lunch special (you get one hour which they kept telling us, and I assured them we got it) and we had plenty of chicken teriyaki, spicy pork and beef bulgogi. Banchan was okay - loved the pickled daikon, kimchi was great. Service by Amade was super helpful, friendly. Fun to watch the robot waiter We will try again because I would love the squid and shrimp next time!

We had a great time here on valentines night. We brought our toddler who crushed the plain rice so it's clearly top notch lol! I would say the restaurant although the concept may not seem like it , it is definitely family friendly we had a load of fun. I will say our waitress was a lot less involved than many people around us and therefore we had a delay in getting meat and drinks. The drinks by the way are cans and water bottles.

    Marinated steak!

Never been to a Korean BBQ before and I have to say YOU HAVE GO!!!! The food is amazing & the staff is just wonderful! Worth every minute!

I decided to go with the smoked brisket and smoked hot dog...presentation was great but not a big fan of weighing bbq at the register but if that's your process, I get it....brisket was mid...looked re heated but lacked authentic smoke flavor...not sure if they use a true smoker or a variation of a pellet smoker/indoor smoker...it's on the same line as mission bbq...not bad but not winning a contest. Brisket prep is a hard skill to master...it depends on the person...some may prefer point of flat...try is particular brisket lacked flavor, there was a hint of smoke but not much else...brisket is a solid 7 out of 10.... Smoked Hot dog is winner...down to the bread, presentation and most important...Cole slaw. Does the hot dog give off a rich Smokey flavor....not really...is it worth the price...you bet. So how does this place receive a 4?....great customer service, clean establishment, plenty of sauce options, and let's face it...bbq is a hard business but most importantly it's one of those things that's cooked and prepared differently all over the world...give WWB a try and come up with your own conclusion

Disappointing service from a rude server at a place we've long enjoyed…read moreWe've been loyal customers here for quite some time, visiting at least twice a month, usually on Friday or Saturday nights when we enjoy the live music. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been marred by the same new server who was consistently rude and dismissive. On our most recent visit, we waited over 10 minutes before she approached our table. My husband ordered a meal (he loves the BBQ), but I cannot eat the smoked food due to stomach issues. I simply ordered a rum and coke with lime. She responded with "Pepsi?" and later repeated back only "Pepsi" when confirming the order, completely ignoring the rum portion even after I emphasized it. When my husband requested sangria -- something the bartender has happily made for us on previous Friday/Saturday visits -- she insisted they don't serve it and that he must have had it on a Sunday. We never visit on Sundays. Later in the evening, we moved closer to the fire pit because it was cool outside. She brought our water over and checked on us a couple of times. We told her we were fine. Toward the end of the night, my husband went to the bar to order another drink (as we've done before when the server isn't readily available). When it came time to close out our tab, the server arrived with the manager (Nolan) in tow. His presence felt awkward and accusatory -- as if we were about to skip out on the bill or posed some kind of problem. When we expressed confusion, he said he was just there to "warm his hands." As longtime, regular customers, we found the overall treatment disrespectful and off-putting. We tried speaking with a manager afterward to share our experience, but it didn't seem to go anywhere. We genuinely wanted to continue supporting this spot for the music and atmosphere, but after two poor experiences in a row with this server and the strange handling at close-out, we will not be returning. There are plenty of other options nearby.

The guy running things in the trailer was very friendly, clearly the owner. They offer all the typical BBQ joint menu items (Brisket, Pulled pork, Pulled chicken., Ribs, etc) and all the typical sides too (beans, slaw, green beans, corn bread, etc). I also liked that they have about 6 BBQ sauces, all made by them and all different styles/flavors. We got a pulled chicken sandwich and a brisket sandwich. For sides, we opted for their cole slaw and baked beans. I also got one of each of their sauces to try. Prices seemed fair, at $28 for this order (what I said we got). Getting home and cracking into our order - The slaw was 'ok' but seemed to be lacking depth of flavor (celery seed and pepper) and had a slightly off taste. Plus, the container was filled about half way. The beans were really good! Nice flavor, spice, and sweetness to them. Next was to try the sandwiches... My wife got the pulled chicken sandwich and as soon as she unwrapped it, she thought it was pork, as it looked chopped and was in extremely small pieces. She tried to eat it and wanted to enjoy it, but the texture was like sawdust, as it was chopped so finely. For me, I got the brisket and when I opened it, I felt like the beef was a little overdone, but the flavor was decent. The texture was tender, but slightly dry - it definitely needed sauce. As for those sauces - My favs were the mustard and the Texas - Both were flavorful and really nice. Overall - Not bad, but if I went back, I would totally try other items.
