It took a while as I got a full volume set, they use quality materials and the glue didn't burn at all when I opened my eyes. I had a great experience at this place. The place was so friendly and all the workers showed that they deeply cares about their customers. The facility was very clean and sanitary. There were so many different shades and options for my nails, which I loved, even though my friend (a guy) thought there were too many and had a hard time differentiating them.. haha. I got a gel manicure, and it lasted for about 2.5~3 weeks, which I am very satisfied with. Go to their website for coupons if you are going to be a first time visitor!! I was rushed the entire time getting my pedi. I asked the girl to slow down and she never acknowledged that I spoke. When I go to the nail salon I want it to be peaceful. The co-workers continued to speak in their language which is very rude. The leg massage was the best part. read more

I had been going here since I moved to the area in 2003 so considered myself a loyal customer. For many years I received a "birthday coupon" at first for a pedicure and then for a dollar amount off of a service. We were unfortunately hit by a tornado this past September and without email for weeks so I never received the birthday email once my server reset. When I made an appointment at the salon I mentioned that I never received the coupon and I explained about the tornado that devastated our development. I also told the owner about how other businesses in the area were doing extra special things to support us through what happened to us. It didn't seem to matter to her. They still insisted that my birthday offer expired in 30 days and they offered nothing else. I have since found a new salon. I won't go where I'm not valued. After almost 20 loyal years to a business you expect more. So sad but when tragedy hits you see the best and the worst of people. Many places go above and beyond to help. I went here using a groupon for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure was very nice (her name started with an A), but the woman who did my nails (Helen) was not very welcoming and made me uncomfortable. I couldn't wait for the manicure to be over. On my way out, I asked how much it is just for gel paint , explaining that I don't usually get a full manicure, and I was given the dirtiest look...I practically ran out of there. $25, by the way. Ok, so maybe Helen was just having a bad day, I can understand and accept that, but what I can't accept is that only three days later, my manicure started chipping and showing signs of wear. Most regular manicures last longer than that, let alone gel polish! I will definitely not be returning. read more

Found this place on groupon and had a pretty good experience. The place is Korean run and clean. The choices of polish was pretty diverse- OPI and essie were plenty. I like that the gels have the color over the cap so it's easier to identify. I had Arianna, she's been there for 3 years. She did a great job on my gel mani. She made sure to give good coats to the tip of my nails and took her time. She did a great job on the cuticles as well. Parking is plentiful in the back which is a big plus. I had an extremely HORRIBLE experience here! Wanted to try a powder manicure, because one of my friends was raving about it. I saw it on Groupon and decided to treat myself to something nice...this experience was far from what I expected. The woman who worked on my nails was rude and clearly didn't know what she was doing. When I would try to ask her a question, because I was concerned some of the things she was doing didn't look right or tell her she was hurting me, which she did numerous times she snapped at me and began to get more and more agitated. It was literally a nightmarish experience....I would never EVER go back. I need to go and get them redone, because they just look a hot mess. After all that she rushed through them at the end so she could get another costumer in. It wasn't worth it for me to argue with her. I was searching for a nail salon near my wedding venue, for a mani/pedi day with my bridal party. I was impressed with what Twinkling Nails & Lashes offered: a private room for lunch, competitive pricing, and space to accommodate everyone. I called and easily made our reservation for 9 mani/pedis. I ordered delivery from Cosi to be delivered directly to the salon. The day of, our lunch arrived before I got there, and the staff at Twinkling Nails set it up on the table in the upstairs lounge area with plates and silverware ready to go! AND they had complimentary champagne and glasses for us!!! They surprised me with a "bride to be" tiara, which I proudly wore during our whole appointment. I felt truly special and it was a fabulous kickoff for my wedding weekend. I purchased a Groupon for eyelash extensions today, I had to reschedule my last appointment. I go today and the owner pulls out some appointment book and starts rummaging through it and she then points to something that was erased in pencil and proceeds to tell me that I did not cancel my last appointment?? I explained to her that I did and she then tells me in front of everyone "No I did not"! And she will not honor my Groupon. I believe she is trying to pull a scam, be careful if you purchase a Groupon for this place!!!! read more

My friend and I went her for the first after scheduling appointments at the same time and my Friend had to wait 45 minutes because they over booked. The older lady that did my nails did not bother to prep my nails and went straight to painting. Glad this was a Groupon and did not pay full price. I won't be going back, parking is also limited. Today I went to use my Groupon for lash extensions. I have never had lash extensions before so I was excited and nervous. When I arrived there was one lady who was giving a pedicure She said hi and told me I was early and I said I had called and they new I was coming. She said okay and go head upstairs and sit on the couch. I went up and after about 5 minutes a lady came back and told me to take off my shoes and lay on the table Then they proceeded to start putting some type of eye pads on my lower lashes and taped them down which is super awkward. Then the tech started. If you have any type of anxiety I would say this is not for you. Initially I was fine but after about 15 mins I started to get panicky. They don't tell you what they are doing. It's basically silent and I was having a hard time sitting still. The process itself is painless but uncomfortable. The issue was the tech stopped to answer the phone at least three separate times and answered her cell phone numerous times which I wasn't a fan of. It took about one hour total and the finished product looked awesome. I was just uncomfortable and super panicky. Not for the anxious person!!! read more

What a mistake. Went here instead of my usual 5 Star Nail thinking it might be nicer. I was wrong! It was empty so need for my pedicurist to rush and she still rushed, did very little with my feet or legs - I was out of there in under half an hour. That included drying time. I have never ever had a pedicure take so little time. I could have painted my own nails and done a better job. Getting home I see polish on my skin and in the corners of my big toe the polish is almost see through. Didn't put 2nd coat over the whole nail. I will NEVER go back. Ladies very nice but not quality work and pricey for what you get. $27 for my 20 minute pedicure. read more

I have been going to this salon for 15 years and it is one of my favorite things that I do for myself. The salon is very clean and they have up-dated to keep it fresh several times over the years. The staff is very friendly and polite. My two daughters who introduced me to the salon now live in Charlotte and NYC and claim that they can not find a salon as nice. So it is a frequent stop when they are visiting home. I would highly recommend. read more

They fit me in. Mani & pedi were good, but the gel did not last one week. It normally lasts 3 weeks on me. Will not be going back.

Very courteous, punctual, and MOST important- knowledgeable. Two nail technicians simultaneously did my mani and pedi. They both paid attention to detail- i.e. properly filing down calluses, pushing back cuticles, etc. They did a great job, overall. Awful customer service. I walked in and got a dirty look from one of the employees and it honestly made me feel uncomfortable being there. They treat returning customers so well but not the new ones. How do they expect to expand their customer base if they make new customers feel unwanted? They seriously need a crash course on good customer service.
