Reflecting back on my involuntary experience of being the receiving end of a rear-end collision on the freeway, California Collision was the clear stand out. Not only did they get my BMW back on the road like it never happened, they handled it like a concierge would. Take that from a regular business traveler that works in the private equity world. George and Team handled everything in my best interests. They are an honest to goodness family business; the real deal- they all share the same last name. The first thing George did during the drop-off process was insist on giving me a walk-thru tour of the *entire* shop and work area. Other shops hesitate and deflect with these requests but George volunteers it first thing without even being asked. After using the restroom on the way out, there was not a corner I didn't see. Communication and customer service is first class- my calls, messages, and emails were always returned in a timely manner. They dealt with insurance and the car rental. I didn't have to do anything besides provide approvals. The job was done exactly how I wanted and even exceeded expectations. My BMW is older now and I expected aftermarket parts but I ended up coming out with all OEM parts at 0 expense to me. Even my optional factory/ OEM+ M-division performance parts were handled. Color match and fit were factory perfect. George is a perfectionist and personally inspects your vehicle after work is done and only releases back to you after it passes his high expectations. I have never ever ever been spoiled by a body shop like this.

They used new Ford OEM parts for the repair vs used or cheap aftermarket parts that didn't fit properly. I never thought our insurance company would try to use the latter but they did. George and Angelina amended a supplement list with them 6 times to fix the truck with the correct/best parts instead of the cheapest. The truck came out beautiful; my husband and I were thrilled with how it looks and handles! The truck looks amazing but it also was mechanically repaired perfectly as well! I had to take my car there 4 times and each time they claimed that "they fixed the issue", only for it to not look any different and the headlight still facing the floor. Another 'amazing' customer experience with them -- I picked my car up one of the many times we took it back, I turned it on and there was NO gas in my tank. This would've been fine if they TOLD me before leaving it out in front of the shop, but they didn't say a word. I had to walk to the nearby Safeway, ask people coming by if they had a gas can, walk back, and fill up my tank enough to get to the gas station with my car. Absolutely ridiculous. The one nice thing I can say about them is that they thoroughly detailed my car before giving it back the first time. That was very nice. After we got the original quote from the insurance company we did not need any further calls with our insurance company. He handled all of that. He has his own paint shop and matches Tesla colors according to their spec. He delivered exactly what he said he would do and precisely on time. Our 2 and 4 year old kids were with us. Needless to say, we were shaken by the situation. When I called Caliber Colission to see about fixing the damage to our car, Felisa was the first person I interacted with. She was kind and supportive. She even helped guide through part of the insurance process with her depth of experience. Felisa provided timely updates through text and was always happy to answer any questions along the way. I ended up visiting with the manager, Matt, while I was there. He was down to Earth and said he had years of experience being a mechanic himself before becoming a manager. His skill shined through when I called to ask about a rattling sound after my car was repaired. He genuinely wanted to figure out the cause of the noise. He thought it could be an obscure nut in the trunk often left out during one of the contracted tire alignments. He was right! My car ended up back in this great team's care two days after I got it back from the first repair. Rear ended at a red light! An Amazon delivery truck smashed my car and dipped with no driver information, so I had to deal…read morewith police and Amazon's third party "adjuster" for months as they tried everything they could to draw out the process and deny responsibility, stall payments etc. When I got to Caliber Collision I was so used to having to fight for every step of this process and getting no responses, but everyone at Caliber was so helpful and the total opposite of what I had been experiencing with Amazon. They worked quickly and helped me deal with the adjusters to get the payments moved along quickly, and immediately let me know when that company was stalling on payments or approvals. I always got quick responses on my calls or email. Everyone was really considerate and gave me accurate and fast estimates so that I could plan alternate transportation.
