Terrible. Awful service. They completely ruined my headlight and tried to tell me that it was fixed. It's absolutely ridiculous. They closed the insurance claim without our approval/satisfaction, so now we have to reopen a claim and go through weeks of processing. I had to take my car there 4 times and each time they claimed that "they fixed the issue", only for it to not look any different and the headlight still facing the floor. Another 'amazing' customer experience with them -- I picked my car up one of the many times we took it back, I turned it on and there was NO gas in my tank. This would've been fine if they TOLD me before leaving it out in front of the shop, but they didn't say a word. I had to walk to the nearby Safeway, ask people coming by if they had a gas can, walk back, and fill up my tank enough to get to the gas station with my car. Absolutely ridiculous. The one nice thing I can say about them is that they thoroughly detailed my car before giving it back the first time. That was very nice. I had a freak accident on the freeway at around noon last week where a carton box flew off a truck landing on the roadway causing a dent on the front lip of my Mazda. I contacted my Allstate agent and opened a claim, then brought my car to Dublin Auto Body since they are affiliated with Allstate Insurance, and are closeby. Long story short, the Dublin Auto Body manager named Anthony personally took care of us and had the car ready for pickup within 7 days! The quality of the work was exceptional to say the least! It's like nothing happened and the car looks exactly the same as before the accident! The process was easy. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I really don't know where to begin. I guess I will start with the customer service was ok. A few people there I worked with were polite and I don't put what I'm about to say on them. But the guys doing the work on the vehicles are clueless. I brought my x5m in after it got in an ancient. When I got the car back the wrong tires were put on the front, the axel that broke was never fixed, and they put the wrong rim on my car. When I took it back to them after getting it back expressing these issues they had me drop it right back off. But after 3 weeks of having my car the second time around, that couldn't find the problem with the axel, tried to say the tires that were on the car were fine, and still didn't replace the rim. At that point I said enough and had them take it to BMW where it should have been the whole time. BMW figured it out in about an hour. When I got the car back BOTH times from them, gas was fully on E. Literally 0 miles to empty. So long story short this place sucks. Maybe if you have a Honda or Toyota they can do the job. But not with German engineering, that's forsure. read more

We had a bad accident in November of last year and went to this company due to our insurance, biggest mistake we could have made. 7 months later we eventually get the car back and there have been nonstop issues since. The manager at the time that started in January was extremely helpful and tried his best but after calling today to speak to him regarding 2 ongoing issues we are still having, were told that he was let go and I was redirected to the current manager and he put the phone down after telling me to 'correct my attitude' when he told me we wouldn't be getting anything free, when this was fixing their poor work. If I can rate this place with negative five I will do it! This is a full description of how unprofessional and con deceiving these people are. They are AllStates affiliated auto shop for repairs. Got into a car accident on Monday the 27th of March at 10am is when they had possession of my vehicle. If I didn't call them they won't let me know that my car is there for hours! They gave me the first quote an I understand that it's just a visual quote without having to open everything and looking deeper.. The first quote was nearly 2k less that the actual quote.. I didn't question it much since I wanted to understand and trust them.. The first update I got was March 30th. The first email they send me - The parts we ordered will start arriving on Monday 4/3/2017. It will take about 2 weeks for the repairs. There might be additional parts needed as we move forward with the repairs. We will update you as we move forward. Have a great weekend. This is a copy of the estimate for the Camry. Please reply back to this email with your driver's license # for authorization for repairs in the dollar amount of $5557.33. We are looking at 4/14 to get it back to you. My first question is that what did they do for 4 days that my car was sitting there? I told myself there's other cars there so I understood that part.. Two weeks sounds reasonable for bumper repair and left side fender. So technically the car will be at the shop for 3 weeks included the first week that they didn't do anything but order parts and find out what's needed to be repaired.. mind you it took them 4 days before they let me know they ordered the parts. I had a very positive experience w/Dublin Auto Body. The estimate was prepared quickly, they were able to get me in as promised and the end result looks great. They did some body work as the result of freeway debris that did primarily some fender damage. While I was at it I had them take care of some oxidation on the original paint job. The WORST body shop experience we have ever had. 1) misleading; 2) very rude; and 3) note that they REPORT all the repairs which may significantly REDUCE your car's RESALE VALUE. (see my car' vin/Carfax check below). My car got an accident in late June with scratches at the rear of the passenger side of the car. It was not bad. See the attached picture. The insurance company gave out an estimate repair cost of $ 1,539.66. My car's bumper has a little dent that was not caused by this accident. The dent is not very visible unless we see it under the sun. I first went to a body shop in Pleasanton that I usually go, which is a body shop recommended by the insurance company. I asked the body shop in Pleasanton if they could do me a favor and fix that dent for free while they took the bumper off to repair the scratches caused by this accident, they happily agreed. After all, it is not a big job. You are going to take the bumper off, why not do a favor to your customer? However, The body shop in Pleasanton has a long waiting. I had to wait for two weeks before my car got repaired. We were thinking to sell the car before the accident happened and already posted it online for sale. We want to have it fixed as soon as possible. So, I decided to give Dublin Body Shop a try, which is also on the list of my insurance company. The manager promised to me that they would take care of the dent at no extra cost. He said he would "clean up" everything. If you will not do it, please don't give the customer a wrong expectation or at least say that you wouldn't repair that dent. The manager intentionally gave out a misleading promise when he tried to earn our business. Several days later, my wife picked up the car while I was on a business trip. After she paid the bill, she spotted that the dent was still there. She asked the manager why it was not repaired. The manager said they just promised to CLEAN UP not repair... My wife was not happy about his answer but still politely asked if there was anything that Dublin Body Shop could do. If we had known that you won't repair the dent, we would not have sent our car here. Dublin Body Shop clearly knew that we wanted this dent to be repaired as a courtesy. There was no meaning to play the wording, right? The manager kept arguing that he did not promise that the repair will be "perfect". He just said he would "clean up". But, why would we need a clean up from a Body Shop? Don't we know how to wash our car by ourselves? It is a dent not a stain of dirt!!! The manager directly walked off and said: "I have nothing to talk to you." His rudeness stunned my wife. She replied: "We will share others about our experience on Yelp." So, everyone who sees this review should be extra careful before you pay for the bill. You have to check your car very carefully before you pay the bill. But, the safest strategy is not to choose this body shop in the first place. As our life was so busy, we had decided to let it go. We did not want to waste our time in writing a lengthy review. However, I checked my car's vin today. What I found really pissed me off. I found that Dublin Body Shop reported this repair to DMV or Carfax. See the pic below. What was the incentive to do this? I just wanted to get even with a bad Yelp review even though we had not written it before you reported the repair? You described it as "moderate" damage. From the picture, does anyone see it as "moderate" damage or "minor" damage? You exaggerated it with the malicious intention to cause a decrease in our car value. Most auto body shops and Paintless Dent Repair shops will not report any records to Carfax. This is our first time encountering such a bad body shop. If you do not want your car's resale value to be decreased, avoid this body shop!!!! Also be aware that this shop is an insurance shark: Their final bill to insurance was more than $3,600, which in turn will be the increased insurance premium. STAY AWAY!!! read more

* It took almost two months (1 month and 3 weeks to be exact) to get my car back. Dropped off car on 6/7/2023. Car was ready 7/27/2023. I was planning to have some time for smog test for registration renewal (after the body work), but this delay at the shop definitely puts the squeeze on the smog test timing. * I never got an update while the car was in the shop. Every time, I had to call first - and was told to be called back, but never got follow up calls. * Original estimate was about $5500, and on the 6th week I discovered it had gone up to $10,500 but was not informed when the adjustment happened. I just happened to learn about the increase when I physically went to the shop to make sure there was work being done to my car. I understand the original estimate can go up as the work starts and more issues are uncovered, but I definitely should've been informed. Isn't that how it works in all industries? Just because the payment comes from the insurance does not mean they have freedom adjust the pricing without letting me know - I ultimately pay for the insurance cost through my premium. * I can't really comment on the quality of the body work - as I am not an expert in the area. GREAT experience. I had a minor fender-bender and they showed up on a list of approved/recommend body shops through AAA. The sign showed that they opened at 8am and when I arrived at 7:58 someone was inside and ready to assist me. All paperwork had been prepped and it literally took 5 minutes to complete the process. They called Hertz rental shuttle on my behalf and I was in and out of the office within 20 minutes. They emailed me a summary of the charges (even though they were being covered by the other party's insurance) and told me how long the repairs would take (3 days). On the third day they called and told me my car was ready. When I arrived the person had me sign the paperwork, and then did a walk around inspection of my car. I couldn't even tell anything had every been wrong with it (it was the bumper that needed fixing). They even cleaned the inside and outside of the vehicle for me. These guys are some of the best. Bad service! Had some front and rear body work done on my car, total about $4.5k. Insurance agreed to pay some of it, and I'd pay the rest. Before I went to pick up the car, I called ahead to ask what payment was accepted. The owner (Bill) took the call and was very brusque. He said I should get cashier's check and then hung up abruptly before I could ask about credit cards. I looked at their website and it listed credit cards. So when I picked up the car, I asked whether I could pay with credit cards. The owner started to hackle me aggressively why I didn't bring cashier's check. Seriously? Am I the customer who just gave you a $4K+ business? When he said make sure to bring cashier's check next time, I almost laughed! Next time? Hell no. They told me to bring in my car whenever I'm ready to drop it off, and even told me to leave my car and drop in the key in their mailbox if they are not open and when I brought in my car they then said that I need an appointment. Stay away from Dublin Auto Body. They are not capable to repair luxury car. My car was in the shop for 30 days for 16K repair damage. They are NOT able to repair my car to manufacture specification. On my first pickup, my wife and I identified the issues. We gave them time to fix them. After 2 days. They said issues resolved and ask us to pickup the car. Issues are not fixed and they say "This is the best I can do." They refused to fix my issues. They said following Monday, they will bring the car to Audi to compare what is different. But on Monday, they changed their mind and ask me to take possession of the car and bring the car for inspection so they will fix it. This is ridiculous. They are Allstate certified and supposed to be "professional". My wife and I are not a body shop repair person, we can spotted issues in naked eyes. But they said this is how it is. Issues my wife and I identified: 1. Liftgate was not closed on first pickup. 2. Liftgate clearance is not even between left and right body. 3. Rear bumper is not put on properly 4. Front right passenger door panel was not put back properly. Missing screw. (They claimed the car was inspected). 5. After the lift gate is closed, the lock does not sound properly. I stressed this is a safety issue. But they don't hear any abnormal from the locking. I took the car on Monday and brought it to Audi Certified Collision Center. They immediately spotted my issues and found more. 1. Exhaust is displaced. 2. Front cover is displaced. 3. Rear body and floor not properly repaired. Audi Certified Collision Center will be able to resolve my concerns. If you care your safety and repair work back to manufacture specification. Do NOT bring your car to Dublin Auto Body. They just want money and you accept their inferior repair work. read more
