    2016 dinner menu.

Meh! Great decor within, yet if you've come here with an appetite, be prepared to pay more than what is expected due to being a hotel restaurant (at least a 20-25% markup). The server was also the bartender on this Wednesday night, yet was pretty prompt and pleasant in her service nonetheless. The entree of the chicken fettuccine pasta? Good portion size, but absolutely no flavor to it. The local IPA brew of "Splash" helped add a bit of spark to an otherwise bland meal of $22 a plate. Could've been better, yet will give The Twist another try upon returning to Midland.

This is a hotel restaurant, and for a hotel restaurant it is pretty good. The food seemed to be better than the typical mass processed foods at other hotel restaurants. I would eat here again when staying at the hotel, but I would not seek this place out as a destination for dinner. The server was very good, but very overwhelmed with busy crowd that was there while dined. I got my food to go and the server made sure that I had everything I needed in the bag for my in room dining.

Been wanting to check this place out for a while after seeing some picks from other helpers. Very cool little bar and restaurant plenty of tvs if you want to come watcha a game and eat not a big place there's about 20 tables and a good size bar Service was great very attentive and never had a empty glass. and food came out quick! I had a hard time picking what to get so I asked waitress said everyone gets chicken and waffles(two people had them and did look good). I went with bison biscuit and gravy with poached egg. I was excellent poached egg was cooked perfect and the biscuits were huge. I will come back to try other things!

Biscuits with bison gravy and poached eggs. So savory!

We went here for brunch recently and the food was amazing. The place definitely has great potential with a very cool ambiance added in. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was a bit lacking. Chicken and waffles were amazing. The lobster Mac was very delicious and had a generous portion of lobster meat. The biscuits and gravy with bison gravy were superb! The coffee was dreadfully weak to start with but the staff obliged us and made a stronger pot which met the expectations. I believe everyone was happy with their food and the prices were definitely reasonable.

Amazing omelette at Four Points Sheraton. Miguel was our waiter and he was very attentive & had a great attitude .

The food was okay/good. For the appetizer, we ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp, which was really good. For the entree, I ordered the smoked salmon club. However, the reason I got it was because it came with bacon jam. When I got the sandwich I didn't taste the bacon jam and ask if I can get a side of it. The waitress later came and told me they no longer make it and replaced the bacon jam with jalapeno aioli. That was disappointing and we should of been informed. I thought the sandwich was lacking. What is a club sandwich without bacon?! The french fries were good and fresh and the mac n cheese was good as well. We got the yelp deal, $25 for $35 Deal at TWIST - the waitress also had no idea what that was but it honor it. FYI - it only applies on the food and not alcoholic drinks. Overall it's decently price and good portion sizes. I would like to come back to try their brunch menu. Update: Came for brunch as they were opening (10am) and there was already one couple there. We got the chicken and waffles and the filet mignon eggs benedict. They apologized and told us that they didn't have the chicken ready and it was be 20 minutes to prep the chicken. We decided to wait and they gave us a free plate of biscuit and gravy. Which was a big portion and it tasted great. The chicken was slightly burnt but it had good flavor--slightly sweet. The waffles was a bit gummy (undercooked). I was disappointed in the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was really thin and didn't have much flavor. The hollandaise sauce drenched the english muffin that it got soggy. The actual filet mignon with the vegetable toppings was good. Overall I would give 3.5 stars if I could.

Chicken and waffles were insanely good. Pecan butter was way too delicious and the waffle were next level.

Out of all the places in Midland to eat this place is by far the best. A diverse menu; chefs with experience and knowledge of balancing a plate with flavor as well as presence. This is the quality of food you would find in cities much bigger than Midland and we are lucky to have such a place in this area! The fries are off the chain and the meat is perfectly cooked and crafted. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was way too good to be served in West Texas.

Huge portion of Lobster mac and cheese with huge chunks of lobster

I am pretty surprised with the quality of food we were served for brunch. All of the food we got were very yummy and very huge servings! The chicken and waffles were right on, the eggs benedict were cooked perfect with a tangy version of hollandaise, the lobster mac and cheese had plenty of chunks of lobster meat and is big enough for sharing. This place is so good that I was hesitating on leaving a review so I can keep it a secret but I want them to stay open and keep their chef on payroll. This is nothing like your regular Midland breakfast food so be prepared to be amazed with the big town quality food you will get from this place! I can't wait to try their lunch and dinner menus.

From the pictures and reviews we were looking forward to the breakfast. Service was good, but the food was pre cut and not very appetizing.

The reason it missed the 5-star mark with me was our waitress was slow to do everything. Even with taking our drink order. Then our food order. The worst was waiting for my final bill. And then she forgot our takeout box for my youngest. I don't know why she didn't have a greater sense of responsiveness with our party of 3, but it was like this the entire duration of our meal on July 25, 2026. It was super frustrating! The other reason I knocked off a star off was because the towel dispenser was depleted in the lone restroom. I had to flag down an employee with drenched hands. THE PROS I called about 20 minutes ahead of time to reserve a table because I knew this brassiere was on the small side. The lady on the phone was courteous and professional. If you have a hot date, I highly recommend reservations particularly in the evening. This seems like that sort of place. When we arrived, I found free street parking a short walk away. We were promptly greeted and seated. To enter the restaurant, you must go inside the Frost Bank tower's lobby, but to exit there is a door just beyond the bar. This place has beautiful, eclectic decor. The bar area was somewhat rounded and has an easygoing, but classy feel to it. THE FOOD The ambiance is what made this a great mother/daughters brunch date. The food sets it apart from the majority of restaurants in this oil industry town. The have East Coast-sourced oysters on the menu! These are far superior to their West Coast counterparts. I would have opted for these for our app if it weren't for my minions, I mean children. Pigs in a Blanket ($15.00) - yet another appetizer my daughters pigged out on that I didn't get to try. And they said they weren't that hungry! Lies all lies. They looked divine with nicely cooked juicy sausage and everything seasoning on the pastries. Avo Toast ($11.50) - my newly-turned teen daughter and I both had our own. I opted for eggs over easy which were cooked nicely. She oddly chose scrambled eggs for her, but she ate pretty much all of it. Smashed Burger ($17) - my youngest had this and said it was excellent. Nice touch with an American flag planted into the top bun. For the umpteenth time she did not share a fry with me. It is what it is. Mocha latte ($5.00) - my youngest's birthday which I will be missing since she'll be visiting her father is coming up so this was a treat for her. I tried it. Quite good after being thoroughly stirred. 1988 Martini ($18) - pricey but oh so good. The olives stuffed with bleu cheese were not bad. I had to try it even though the thought of bleu cheese kind of turned me off. Lol. Will I return? Of course because I have faith it will be 5 stars next time. Look at the other raving reviews! RATING BREAKDOWN (4 stars overall) Food: 5 | Service: 3 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4
