From the pictures and reviews we were looking forward to the breakfast. Service was good,but the food was pre cut and not very appetizing.

Twist is always good. They have a limited menu but what they have is really good. I have stayed at hotel here several times and always enjoy eating here. Dinner is always good. This morning I had breakfast here and it didn't disappoint. Custom omelet with bacon and cheese. Yum yum. The entire facility is organized and very clean. It has a modern environment that so like. But when faced with soup with no broth, a pulled pork sandwich with no pickled onions or fries and chicken grease on the largest junior Caesar salad I've seen, it's too many errors. Meh! Great decor within, yet if you've come here with an appetite, be prepared to pay more than what is expected due to being a hotel restaurant (at least a 20-25% markup). The server was also the bartender on this Wednesday night, yet was pretty prompt and pleasant in her service nonetheless. The entree of the chicken fettuccine pasta? Good portion size, but absolutely no flavor to it. The local IPA brew of "Splash" helped add a bit of spark to an otherwise bland meal of $22 a plate. This is a hotel restaurant, and for a hotel restaurant it is pretty good. The food seemed to be better than the typical mass processed foods at other hotel restaurants. I would eat here again when staying at the hotel, but I would not seek this place out as a destination for dinner. The server was very good, but very overwhelmed with busy crowd that was there while dined. I got my food to go and the server made sure that I had everything I needed in the bag for my in room dining. read more

Been wanting to check this place out for a while after seeing some picks from other helpers. Very cool little bar and restaurant plenty of tvs if you want to come watcha a game and eat not a big place there's about 20 tables and a good size bar Service was great very attentive and never had a empty glass. and food came out quick! I had a hard time picking what to get so I asked waitress said everyone gets chicken and waffles(two people had them and did look good). I went with bison biscuit and gravy with poached egg. I was excellent poached egg was cooked perfect and the biscuits were huge. I will come back to try other things! read more

We went here for brunch recently and the food was amazing. The place definitely has great potential with a very cool ambiance added in. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was a bit lacking. Chicken and waffles were amazing. The lobster Mac was very delicious and had a generous portion of lobster meat. The biscuits and gravy with bison gravy were superb! The coffee was dreadfully weak to start with but the staff obliged us and made a stronger pot which met the expectations. I believe everyone was happy with their food and the prices were definitely reasonable. read more

Great service- two people working with around 15 people and they were able to keep up and keep the drinks full. 3 TVs at the bar The food- appetizer- chips and Queso chips were really good and the queso tasted fresh (not the best but still better than most places. Pork chops mashed potatoes and vegetables. The pork chops were great, good flavor and juicy! Vegetables were good the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a bucket that was made the day before. All in all having no idea this place even existed .3 miles from my company apartment I was pleasantly surprised and glad it's not advertised all over keeps the crowd small and service good! read more

Just went here this month. The stand in Bartender was rude, the food was mediocre at best but worst of all this place does NOT accept cash AND they have NO sign indicating this so I found out when it was time to pay the check. I won't be back as I do not support the collapse of the US dollar. Any place that refuses to accept cash DOES NOT deserve to be in business in America. read more

Decent breakfast. Dinner was horrible. My son got a burger and I got a chicken club. Both tasted like bad meat. We took a couple bites then threw it out. The food was okay/good. For the appetizer, we ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp, which was really good. For the entree, I ordered the smoked salmon club. However, the reason I got it was because it came with bacon jam. When I got the sandwich I didn't taste the bacon jam and ask if I can get a side of it. The waitress later came and told me they no longer make it and replaced the bacon jam with jalapeno aioli. That was disappointing and we should of been informed. I thought the sandwich was lacking. What is a club sandwich without bacon?! The french fries were good and fresh and the mac n cheese was good as well. We got the yelp deal, $25 for $35 Deal at TWIST - the waitress also had no idea what that was but it honor it. FYI - it only applies on the food and not alcoholic drinks. Overall it's decently price and good portion sizes. I would like to come back to try their brunch menu. Update: Came for brunch as they were opening (10am) and there was already one couple there. We got the chicken and waffles and the filet mignon eggs benedict. They apologized and told us that they didn't have the chicken ready and it was be 20 minutes to prep the chicken. We decided to wait and they gave us a free plate of biscuit and gravy. Which was a big portion and it tasted great. The chicken was slightly burnt but it had good flavor--slightly sweet. The waffles was a bit gummy (undercooked). I was disappointed in the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was really thin and didn't have much flavor. The hollandaise sauce drenched the english muffin that it got soggy. The actual filet mignon with the vegetable toppings was good. Overall I would give 3.5 stars if I could. read more

Located within the 4Points Sheraton in Midland. This place has some seriously good food that is not typical. I've been here a couple of times and had the nachos (huge portion) and made where the chips don't get soggy. I've also had the blackened fettuccine Alfredo and Caesar salad -- both were very good. The bar looks like fun if you indulge. read more

The bartender on the evening of November 25th was amazing! I do hope one day she sells her home and makes that jump and move!! She was super friendly and made us feel welcomed while we waited for our to go order.. she was so friendly in fact we stayed for a second round of drinks! Out of all the places in Midland to eat this place is by far the best. A diverse menu; chefs with experience and knowledge of balancing a plate with flavor as well as presence. This is the quality of food you would find in cities much bigger than Midland and we are lucky to have such a place in this area! The fries are off the chain and the meat is perfectly cooked and crafted. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was way too good to be served in West Texas. read more

I am pretty surprised with the quality of food we were served for brunch. All of the food we got were very yummy and very huge servings! The chicken and waffles were right on, the eggs benedict were cooked perfect with a tangy version of hollandaise, the lobster mac and cheese had plenty of chunks of lobster meat and is big enough for sharing. This place is so good that I was hesitating on leaving a review so I can keep it a secret but I want them to stay open and keep their chef on payroll. This is nothing like your regular Midland breakfast food so be prepared to be amazed with the big town quality food you will get from this place! 10/10 on the presentation for brunch but taste wasn't the best. Ordered the chicken and waffles and chocolate chip pancakes. Nothing to complain about with the pancakes but the waffles were doughy and the chicken was dry. Definitely worth a visit but I've had better chicken and waffles. read more

I was staying at the hotel and decided to give the TWIST a try for dinner. I had an appetizer and absolutely loved it. This is an edited review. I decided to come back after a year of being absent and was quickly disappointed. On top of the deals that attracted me out here that don't exist anymore the service was just crap. The waiter messed up on our food order and consistently forgot about our requests, from drink orders to oder specifics. Service was decent but slow considering there were only 2 other tables there for a Sunday brunch. Food was horrible. My husband had been here 3 months prior and raved about their filet mignon eggs Benedict. He ordered the same thing today and it was night and day from several months ago. The filet was cooked well done and the size of sausage patties. It was more of a flank steak. My lobster macaroni and cheese was inedible. The 'cheese sauce' was basically water. The only decent items were the chocolate chips pancakes and the drinks. Even those were watered down. Overall, disappointing and overpriced. read more

Let's start with the great bartender who humored my wine needs additionally Larry also made me one of the best margaritas I've had! Patron is the way to go! I saw good reviews all over Facebook and then the one here and I am sorely disappointed. The Bloody Mary was watered down, the waitress wouldn't speak to us unless we flagged her down, and the food was not good. At all. They had gorgeous photos.... No. My fiancé's chicken wasn't cooked all the way and my linguine was too chewy in places and crunchy in others, the shrimp was rubbery... We didn't finish and sent everything back and left without eating. read more

Absolutely loved Chef Nima's food!! The wings are great, especially the lemon pepper ones. The brunch was delicious and dinner was awesome as well! This is one of our favorite places to eat dinner in Midland; fairly upscale with the most amazing food. We have eaten here numerous times and haven't once been disappointed. The Sunday brunch is amazing; the fried chicken makes it totally worth order the chicken and waffles. The salmon is wonderful. It is located inside the Four Seasons hotel and isn't normally where I would have sought out to eat, but the reviews were really good, so we decided to give it a shot and keep returning based on the food and service both! read more

Just walked out of breakfast at this place. Service was bad, table was very dirty, then as I started drinking my coffee down saw the edges of my cup covered in old dried up cereal or some other food. Disgusting. Didn't get to the food to know if it was good or bad but the lack of quality control was evident and enough to have me say enough. Wow!!!! What a great place. All i can say is that ive been around the world and have eaten at many a place, but i have only had salmon this fresh in alaska, "bravo" The chef came to the table and asked us how was our dinner? I said very good. He then talked us into dessert, we had the strawberry short cake. Holy crap, im so glad he did, i only wish i didnt eat dinner so i could eat two or three of these things. The lady bartender, isn't cut for the job. I sat at the Bar, and watched her pour out numerous drinks because they were wrong, or she just poured the wrong beer. I have been to bars, where the wrong drink is either given to someone or sold at a lower price, but she just poured them down the drain. What a waste. This place needs a complete staff makeover. read more

We went to Twist for the first time during their Mother's Day brunch and weren't impressed. They had a nice selection, but it fell short of all the hype. Service was lacking, but it was busy. Unfortunately, the Gulf shrimp were raw and the guy making/heating pasta left right in the middle of the lunch rush (for at least 30min). It was $75 wasted for only 2 adults. I'm not sure that we'll go back to try the regular everyday menu. read more

First off this place is in the back of a hotel and is not what it looks like online, second off they sold me a coupon on yelp and wouldn't honor it, and the bartender couldn't get a hold of the manager to figure it out. She then preceded to tell us 30 times that she's just a bartender. This place is a joke of an establishment, and should be shut down. Plus they charge $9 for a shot of tequila. What a joke read more
