Boom! Holy Cow! You know how some places might get 1 or 2 things right? How about nearly everything!!! We stopped in on the way out for our mini vacay and we're so glad we did. I can't say enough about this place. Breakfast portions are huge & delicious. Like mom makes. Bloody Mary's... wow! Mimosas are fresh and unique (many flavors). I loved this place at first bite, it's so refreshing to find a diner of this caliber. I walked in and found a seat at the bar, there were a few others at the bar but still there was plenty of room to enjoy my visit here. The staff here is amazing, the first thing I noticed was that everyone was smiling and seem like genuinely happy people. I was greeted by several members of the staff during my visit and they all made me feel welcome like I was a regular. Arriving just after 11:00 AM I was determined to still enjoy something from the breakfast menu, although the lunch menu and lunch specials looked mighty delicious and the servings are ginormous - I have a pretty good appetite and I finally had to push the plate away after getting through about two-thirds of it. I ordered the "BIG Country Folk Breakfast" $9.99 Three Eggs (Your Way) Hashbrowns (Crispy and Plentiful) Ham (Full Slice Grilled, Sliced and Piled High) Biscuit (Delicious) Peppered Milk Gravy (Filled w/Chunks of Breakfast Sausage) The food was served hot off the grill in only a few minutes even though they were busy which shows the skill in the kitchen is real, the presentation was spot on and most importantly the food was of very high quality. The restaurant is really clean and well maintained - there is definitely a team atmosphere here where everyone works together and the customer service is of the utmost importance. I know it really sounds too good to be true I know but this was my experience. Nice place. Lots of parking available as it is at the tail end of a strip mall. Outside seating is available. Loved the Half Price Mimosa and Bloody Mary's while you are in that wait list.Bloody Mary was a masterpiece! I did not get a photo. All the food was delicious! My grit cake lacked salt but that was an easy fix. All poached eggs were over but we didn't complain. Service was friendly and fast! What a find to stumble upon! I needed a coffee and saw this gem in the corner of a place on our way to golf. I had about 5 minutes to grab a coffee abs ended up ordering two egg, bacon and cheese biscuits, one sage and one jalapeño cheddar. The server was super nice, fast and helpful. I love the seasonal changes with their biscuits but I have to say I do miss the strawberry cheesecake biscuit though. I would love to see a permanent sweet biscuit on the menu, if possible. It was my husband and I first time here we've heard many good things about it, but unfortunately, we did not experience any of that. When we arrived, we were seated and give menus within a minute. The waitress was back, asking us if we were ready the menu is full of information that we've not familiar with, so I wanted to look at the menu longer so she told us when we were ready to just close the menus Never heard that before. So when I did have some questions, I asked her while she was cleaning tables and helping other customers if she can answer some questions and instead of coming over to us, she was trying to answer questions while cleaningother tables. Wasn't sure what she was talking about when she answered my questions referring to what was included with some of the breakfasts cause she said them so quickly. Not impressed at all. When other people came in and were seated near us, the waitress to left was very informative to their people. Our waitress decided that she was gonna break down the menu to somebody else. Ask them if it was their first time here and explained also that the mimosas have alcohol in them. We were explained nothing. We were not broken down the menu, not asked if it was our first time not even standing near us to answer questions. I'm sorry if we were an interruption to her job, but I thought we were her job. My husband ordered pecan pancakes with bacon bacon never came. She never put it in. I was clueless to the menu so I just ordered a biscuit and at that point I was very angry anyway, so I had lost my appetite. As we left the gentleman at the register asked us how everything was. I told him it was our first and last time we will ever be there and that we would make sure we tell our friends about the horrible experience we had all he kept saying was he was sorry. So when we left and we were outside, man ran up to us. I guess it was the manager and all he kept saying is I'm sorry about the experience and I wish I was up there when you were there OK so why are you out here talking to us all you kept telling me was you're sorry that was nothing different than what the man at the register said to us now you're making me even more angry. I've been in the food industry. I know times it's busy, but why is it that we were treated this way and others around us was not. Oh that I failed to mention we are also an interracial couple. We have been going for approximately 2 years to this restaurant with no complaints. Today was a different experience. My wife ordered eggs , bacon and hash browns. The hash browns came out tasting terrible and were hard on one side and raw on the other.Told the server and he brought another order with the same problem. Upon taking to the server and the manager we were told it was late in the day and that was just the way it was. This was not handled properly, the cost of the hash browns was taken off but after 2 years and never complaining before I would have thought completely comping the meal would have been an option. I split the pig licker biscuits and the French country biscuits (which I chose to be peaches and cream biscuits) with a family member and WOW! We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table for 8 at about 9am on a Sunday morning. During the wait, you can get half priced mimosas or bloody marys.
