I was driving by one morning on the way to work, when am driving and come to a stop I like to scan the area. I looked to the left and there was Twisted Biscuit, I quickly made a U Turn and opened Yelp to check the reviews. I ordered the Biscuit and chicken which came with one biscuit and 2 pieces of chicken, also had some spicy honey on there. when I tell you this is the best Chicken Biscuit I've ever had. the Biscuit was soft and a little crispy around the edges and the Chicken was cooked perfectly. Dip that in the honey and pure perfection!! I ordered to go but lots of seating to dine in, waited about 10mins and the service was good. I can't wait to be back in this area to go back.

After getting a glowing recommendation we had to try it ourselves. Yup. Lived up to billing. Great choices, homemade, great coffee and our server Colleen was super friendly. We know we'll be back.

Totally loved this place! Great breakfast brunch lunch spot ever! It's a local place that is a hidden gem! And!!! 1/2 priced Bloody Mary's and Mimosas with any natural juice!!! Amazing! The food is fresh and delicious. The servers were so awesome, very attentive and friendly. I tried their 100% maple syrup!!! Yummy!! I highly recommend Twisted Biscuit!! You will not be disappointed!! I'll be back!!!

It was well worth the drive to this strip mall eatery. The food was fantastic and our server was hilarious. The biscuits were very tasty. My Wife reported her chicken, and brisket were dry. The pulled pork was good and she liked her green beans. My tacos were good, but less slaw would be nice. The place is on a corner of a strip mall. The interior was nice. Our spiked coffee beverages were overpriced. I won't get one next time. We will visit again.

I'm only visiting Florida but decided to stop in to try this for breakfast. I'm quite impressed with it. This was two biscuits with two sausage patties and gravy on it. The taste was amazing and it was very very filling. Our waitress was attentive and visited our table probably 8 times through our hour here, so that's very nice. The overall restaurant was clean and well decorated, and everyone seemed to be pretty happy around. definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, but show up early because they were quite busy!

This place is a must for breakfast or brunch! Lots of seating inside and outside, even though it was busy we were sat right away. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, kept our drinks filled from start to finish. There are plenty of options for everyone on the menu, and everything sounds fantastic. They also have daily specials, which are different each day. We opted for the hot honey chicken biscuit which was fantastic!! The chicken was crispy and moist, the biscuit was moist and not dry. The only complaint from my fiancé was that there wasn't enough spice on it, although for me it was perfect. We also got the sausage biscuit gravy with an added egg on top. The biscuit is sage flavor which compliments the meal so well. We will for sure be back! They also sell beer, mimosas, and bloody Mary's!!

We showed up at 12:50 On a Sat and was packed. 1:05 almost Empty. We got the worst seat in the house right next to the kitchen and at the end of the bar. Way to noisy and you get to her all the banter between the staff. I did not like that. I was happy to try another biscuit place. The biscuits We're good. So better than others. My French toast had a biscuit inside. So you can Make it out of any of the biscuits you have. I could have ordered a bacon cheese biscuit French toast. Next time I am there I will do that. It seems the locals Love it my wife has the chicken and the ranch creamy hash browns were sooooooo Good. I will drive 45 mins back to this place so I can get some to go. I would love to figure out the recipe. Over food was great. Service was ok. I should have asked for a different table after the crown left. But I will be back.

Great little country restaurant. Lines can get long after church on a Sunday but it's great delicious food. Worth it if you are in the area.

That's what we did that morning. Ambiance was great. It felt like each little dining area was a different room in a big, semi-haunted mansion. Eclectic books and paintings and mirrors and other baubles adorned much of the walls, making for plenty of looking around time during you meal. Very fun. Service was really good. The pacing of the meal was great, and our server was very friendly. We were always with drink, and she knew the menu backwards and forwards, even the special dishes of the night. As for the food, we went whole hog with two apps, two mains, and a dessert to share. Out of everything we ordered, only one of them remains on the current menu, which is a great sign. I love a rotating, seasonal menu. It shows effort, and it definitely encourages return patronage. We started with the Ciabatta Board (toasted ciabatta, house butter made with sun dried tomato, roasted red pepper, parmesan, garlic, chive). This was nice. It was very sun dried tomato, so if you don't like them, don't get this. But very soft, toasty bread made this very lovely. We also got an escargot app which was very creamy and soup-like. The snails were complimented well by the spinach. And the whole thing came with a nice little breadstick. I saved some of the bread from the board for some sopping. Pro move. For our mains, we got a miso butter New York strip and some sort of Asian themed duck. For both mains, the proteins were cooked very very well, and the portion sizes were a good size compared to what I was expecting. Both sets of taters were good. The mash was very smooth and creamy, the roasted baby potatoes were cooked all the way through and were nice and naturally buttery. Both were served with a seasonal veg mix that was pretty ok. It rounded out the plate, but it won't change your world or anything. We finished off with one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with the perfect cheesecake density, the perfect amount of chocolate chips inside, and a nice little crust that added that little bit of texture that is needed from the crust. Overall, quite a meal! To survive in a small town with these prices and those quality ingredientes and that unique of a menu design is very impressive. I will certainly be back.

Cons: Not a single con. A great little visit. Tips: The menu has completely changed since we went, which is good, so I can't recommend any specific dishes. This location was suggested as they have an enclosed patio to avoid bugs, and it worked out great! The staff were remarkable and even brought an iced water for the dog without even asking! Appreciate that extra touch. What We Ordered: ~ Dockside Scallops (Appetizer): cooked beautifully, and paired with a sauce that complimented the scallops. Loved the citrus for acidity, while having the sweet chili for some spice. I can see this being delicious with rice and a vegetable for an entree, which they also offer. ~ The Big Cheese Burger (sub Cheddar versus American Cheese): Very delicious and a great price point for $15! Definitely left us satisfied as we cut in half to share the scallops as well. ~ Jumper Juice: only $5 all day, every day? Why not try! Though, I'm a vodka fan so this was not my liquor of choice. Still a very refreshing drink that I'm sure many would enjoy. ~ Coke: A classic for a burger, and tasted great on a hot, humid Florida day. Definitely a place I'd return when visiting in the area, and I can see trying the scallop entree or even getting a burger again. Great food, friendly service, and spacious location.

When we arrived, there was one table left in the bar side, which had enough for 6 people. We asked if we could just grab that spot and the hostess had to go speak to the manager. She came back and informed us that we could not sit there, but instead in the adjacent restaurant (same menu) or the bar (my grandma is in a wheelchair), or wait but that it might be over an hour. Since we were a group of 3 we asked if we could split that table into 2 so we wouldn't use it all, additionally, we had driven over an hour for the pop up and really wanted to be in the themed area, but they insisted that they had to keep it open for any potential larger party that would come after us. My question is... couldn't that larger party that *might* come sit in the adjacent restaurant? We were after the lunch hour (around 2pm) and I get wanting to keep space, but this has literally never happened to me before anywhere I have been. Eventually, we were able to sit at that table (they didn't split it into 2, but we offered multiple times). No larger group came so there wasn't an issue with that... I mean it did all work out but the vibes were so weird and others should know the potential issues! We only got cocktails, and they were delicious! I loved the theming it was super cute and accurate! It is a family owned restaurant founded by New York natives who noticed a gap in Central Florida for high quality, authentic New York style diner food. The original location opened on Universal Boulevard in the Lake Cay area, near Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. The restaurant quickly became popular with both locals and vacationers looking for an alternative to the standard hotel breakfast buffet. Following the success of the Universal Boulevard location, the owners expanded to additional Central Florida locations, including Lake Buena Vista and Dr. Phillips. The Diner has gained attention for its creative twists on classic comfort food. One of its signature dishes is the Bennyffle a combination of Eggs Benedict served over a waffle. The menu also features specialty cereal pancakes, including Fruity Pebbles and Oreo Crunch, along with classics such as chicken and waffles. In July 2026, the Universal Boulevard location even became the center of a viral national news story after a family of seven including children reportedly walked out on a $298.47 breakfast bill. The story highlighted how hard family businesses work and how an incident like this can affect them. I recently met up with a group of friends at The Diner for brunch. The Diner can get crowded, and they do not take reservations. I am grateful that one of my friends arrived very early to wait for a table for our group. The diner offers a selection of coffee drinks as well as alcoholic beverages, making it a festive spot for brunch. Since I had a long day ahead, I stuck with coffee and ordered the signature chicken and waffles. The combination was delicious. The crispy, savory fried chicken was the perfect partner to the soft, buttery waffles, while the warm, sweet maple syrup contrasted to the salty chicken. It was a very large portion and I really enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed several separate checks.
