First let me say the Miami vice was the prettiest drink I have had in a minute. I thoroughly enjoyed the view while we ate and the food was delicious. Only 4 years old, this spacious, waterfront eatery is THE place to dine...in Eustis of all places! My simple shrimp basket was delicious - I particularly enjoyed the cocktail sauce and the coleslaw. My fries were nice and hot - just how I like my food. And although my food took a few minutes to come out (there was a 9-top order ahead of mine), my lovely server gave me the head's up as soon as I sat down. Still five stars! We love this place. Today we stopped in for lunch with our doggy of course so we sat n the beautiful patio. Our server Victoria C was so nice - we enjoyed chatting with her. We started with the steak bites - a meal in itself cooked perfectly med rare. Tom had the Monte Cristo which he loved. I had a half pound of peel and eat shrimp which was a very generous portion. I had my fill and then had eight to take home. I don't know what was in the drawn butter but it was delicious and clung to the shrimp perfectly. More than butter I suspect. There were 12 of us and this is the 2nd time we've eaten at this establishment. Both times we were seated in their large room upstairs which overlooked Lake Eustis. A beautiful view. There was also a bar upstairs as well as downstairs and outside in the parking lot. The first time we ate at this establishment, my group though the food was fantastic, service was impeccable, and the overall experience was fantastic. So I decided to give it a try again. I'm the one that normally pick the restaurant. Our server this time was Meagan. Meagan greeted all of us with a smile and was very pleasant. For having to serve our group plus other groups up there, Meagan did not miss a beat. She always checked on us to make sure everyone had a drink and that no one needed anything. She made sure we were happy with our food. No one in my group felt that anything took too long for our orders. Bravo Meagan, because of you, and because of the service you provide, the different food options and the beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant, I will be bringing my group back again. I think I would like to try every dish listed in the menu. Not all at once of course but a great execuse to keep coming back. When I pick a restaurant, service and the food are the two main factors I look at if I'm going to bring my group there. We're all from The Villages and I've selected restaurants as far as Orlando for my group because I also want us to try different ethnic food. I normally go to the restaurant first with my spouse and I observe everything including service, location, ambiance and items in the menu. Normally I've already done my homework using yelp, looking at reviews, checking their website and looking at the menu. I like a menu that has a variety of food options. I want to hear my group say, "there is too much to choose from. I can't decide what pick." That way I know the restaurant has something for everyone. Service was ok but nothing out of the ordinary and friendly enough. mahi was also decent and fresh enough for the location but a little overcooked. Romalade was very good. Lobster Mac was more like cheese soup with so little pasta that it was hard to find and not much lobster. A dish that rich should be a little smaller and have a lot more pasta and lobster as a percentage of the total. Same with the kids portion of mac n cheese. They both ate a few bites and that was about all they wanted. My wife had the coconut fried shrimp and she liked it but again nothing special. Hubby and I found this place on the ma-. Its was packed and they have 3 different earring sites. Inside main building, outside on the dock and the tiki bar playing live music on the weekend. They were busy and the waiter was upfront about it and asked us to place the food early if we were on a time crunch. I came here with my mom looking for a restaurant to eat as most diners were closed we found this on the map. The dining area is kept very sanitary and there's a nice ambience. We were greeted when entered and allowed to switch tables. Steven was our server, very friendly, understanding, and quick when it came to his tables. The food however, did not match the same level the atmosphere promised. First off the drinks, my mother ordered a lemonade and found it disgusting. She found it tasted like frozen lemonade the ones you find at stores. Now for the actual food, My mom ordered a strawberry salad with steak bites, hers was fine very pleased however I ordered the penne Alfredo. The menu says PENNE Alfredo. What they did was take the macaroni from the kids Mac and cheese option tossed it in with the chicken and called it a day. It was terrible, by far the worst pasta I've had at any place I've gone to. If you can't afford penne for your establishment abolish it off the menu rather than deceiving your customers. Manager gave a 50% discount for compensation I appreciate the staff entirely for how they treat their customers wish this was better. Extremely disappointed. read more

I really wanted to like this place, I had heard so many good things about it. Unfortunately when my food came out it was made incorrectly. I did point it out to the waiter but since it wasn't a food allergy I said I would take it as is. No point in waisting food. Things happen, I get it. Then the table next to me stated their order was wrong; and not 4 minutes later I heard a 3rd table say something they ordered was wrong as well. The staff was pretty pushy to try and get me out the door after 30 minutes. It was kind of odd and made me feel uncomfortable. It does have a nice view. Drink review only!! After our time in Eustis we wanted to end the day here as it had amazing views of the water! It was packed on this Saturday at the outside bar but we were able to snag some seats facing the marina and lake area. The bartender was quick and efficient with our two beer bottles and we just got one round and paid so our interaction was short. There was also a live guitar player that added a nice ambiance to the beautiful Saturday afternoon. It was sunny, we saw a couple small Gator's , the CFB games were playing . You couldn't ask for a better day. The only downside is that the bathrooms were in the main building so it was a little walk to get there . I had dinner here with 3 friends when we were staying in Mount Dora for the art and craft festival. Our server Angie was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed including drink refills. We arrived quite by accident while out taking a ride from Ocala. The Lake Eustis Waterfront Bar And Grill sits right on the edge of the lake with a stellar water view. Melissa promptly served us and continued to check on us throughout the meal without being intrusive...very professional, polite, and warm and friendly. I had wings which may have been a tad overcooked to being a bit tough and crunchy. They were also small. My wife had the dinner Crab Cakes with grits and Onion rings. She liked her meal. I tasted the crab cakes...can't say they were remarkable and had a fishy taste. On the final observation I find this place to be cool...has an awesome staff... Melissa was incredibly Nice. I am sure any restaurant has an off day on some dishes...I should have ordered seafood, but can't resist trying wings when available. I still enjoyed them. Sunday we tried this restaurant for the 1st time to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were greeted when we entered. They have 4 areas to dine: the tiki bar, outside by the water/marina, downstairs and upstairs. We chose to eat inside and upstairs by the window. They have an extension menu. Our waitress, Wanda has very helpful in explaining the menu and assisting on our choices. We both chose the blackened Mahi Mahi with a baked potato (we had it dressed: cheese and bacon which is another $2.00 each) but it comes with butter and sour cream. For our second side, my husband had the cole slaw and I had the Caesar salad. We recommend all these choices. They have a nice selection of draft beers but we chose the Lake Eustis Waterfront Lager since it was made especially for them. Since it was my husband's birthday he received a yummy warm brownie with cream and chocolate sauce. We would definitely recommend them and we will return. read more

Me and my family were asked if we could be seated outside because the place was " very packed on the inside"( there were plenty of empty tables that could see our party of 4). If you have lived in florida for a little bit you know how hot florida summer can be and also unpredictable. We waited an hour to get our food while it was raining on us, the waitress couldn't refill our drinks if our lives depended on it, and she gave me something i didn't order. This place is usually a very popular and nice restaurant to eat a nice lunch or dinner at, but this experience has ruined my opinion of the restaurant, i will never return. If giving less than 1 star was an option, i'd do it. The food is normally good, but beware of the service you might get if you choose to eat here. Solid negative 2 stars for the service and a solid 2.5 stars for the food. read more

We went to this spot for lunch before going for a lovely walk at nearby Hidden Waters Preserve. We were able to be seated immediately and the hostess was very nice and asked if we wanted to sit upstairs since they had live music starting, which sounded great! The upstairs had a great view of the water and we enjoyed listening to the acoustic musician. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I chose the ahi tuna appetizer as my meal and added a cup of lobster bisque. My bf got a cheeseburger, one friend got the jalapeño popper burger, and the other got the blackened mahi sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered their bang bang gator tail as an appetizer. The gator tail was delicious with a flavorful Asian inspired sauce. I loved the lobster bisque; it was rich and creamy with a nice little kick of spice and some chunks of lobster. I loved my ahi tuna! The sauce was a nice compliment and I liked it was drizzled in a way you could add a little and still taste the nice flavor of the tuna. The sesame crust was delish. The rest of the group also enjoyed their meals and from tastes I had, everything was really good. Overall, this was a great spot for food, water views, and overall ambience. They have a lovely patio area; it was a bit chilly so we opted to sit inside, but I'd imagine outdoor seating would be great as well on a mild day. I'd definitely return if in the area. read more

We've eaten at the restaurant 4 or 5 times with mixed experiences. The last two times our waiter was a bit obnoxious, trying to be funny. There never seems to be enough help making the wait for food on the long side. Overall, the food is good but this past visit the fish was cold. We were seated atleast 10 minutes before the waitress told us she'd be back in a couple minutes. When she came back and got our drink orders, we said we were ready to order and she said oh I can't take your order yet our kitchens not ready. I said what said well we're quite busy and if we give them too many orders at once they they don't do well. I just gave them my last order 5 minutes ago so I'll take your order in 5 more minutes. In 5 minutes, she brought her water and took our orders. It then took probably 40 minutes to get our food. Let me just say the restaurant was not busy. There were many, many empty tables. I went to the ladies room when I first got there and told the Hostess that they were out of paper towels in the ladies room. Her reply was yes ma'am. I went back to the bathroom as we were leaving and still no paper towels It's a Lady's room.. I got Monte Crisco sandwich and sweet potato fries and the husband got the grouper sandwich and onion rings. My Monte Crisco tasted weird, not like any Monte Crisco I've ever had before and it's one of my favorite sandwiches. Sweet potato pot fries were very mushy not crispy at all.
