P4. Pad See Ew!! Best wide rice noodles in Chapel Hill!!!
    Ryu D.

Love the location, parking is great. You can literally park in front of the building for pick up. Interior design is beautiful and cozy if you're in the mood to dine in! Consistently cooked to perfection, I won't go anywhere else in Chapel Hill for wide rice noodles. The price is extremely fair for dinner ranging from $13 is a huge bargain for a full meal in this area! Posting this after my second day in a row of dining in at their restaurant. Needless to say: REPEAT CUSTOMER FOR LIFE

Very cute, but a little difficult to find. The food was amazing. I had yellow curry and it was enough to fill me and have some for the next day! Great portion sizes. Try their mango sticky rice! So amazing!

Got delivery from here so granted my food is not as good as eating in the store. The green curry was good but the pad see ew was not seasoned well and it was mostly noodles and not much else. Doesn't compare to the other Thai places on Franklin St.

I've been enjoying Twisted Noodles since my undergraduate years, but they have earned a lifelong customer today (see attached photo)! Thank you for making my day! + level 2 medium still has some heat! + green curry is wonderful, not too sweet and full of flavor + generous portion, affordable price, excellent service

This place is great! The only things I'd say is it would be great if they labeled vegan options. It's a very good price and flavor! I've been in to get takeout and it's always been quiet inside! The staff is very friendly.

This is a great local restaurant to satisfy your Thai food cravings! The location is unassuming, but the food is high in flavor and freshness. For those of you familiar with the area, Twisted Noodles is tucked away in the corner of the same shopping plaza as Trader Joe's, next to the Clean Juice and across from the Starbucks off East Franklin Street. I ordered the Pad See Ew, Green Curry, and Summer rolls, and Thai Fried Rice. The Pad See Ew consisted of chicken, eggs, flat rice noodles, and broccoli stir-fried in a sweet soy sauce. Pad See Ew is my favorite Thai noodle dish and this was an excellent rendition. The broccoli was fresh and cooked perfectly and there was a nice proportion of veggies & protein to noodles. The Green Curry was very good, but had a kick despite being ordered as "mild." Just a word of caution for those of you sensitive to spice! The Summer rolls were beautifully wrapped and full of fresh vegetables. Unfortunately, the Thai fried rice was underwhelming. It was too oily and the green peas were under-cooked. Overall, I was very satisfied and happy to try a local business that is serving high quality Asian food with quick service. Ordering online and curbside pick-up was a breeze. My order was ready even though I arrived 10-15 minutes early to pick it up! I will be back to try their noodle soups as the temperature continue to cool down.

Curry on in and Thai the noodles!! Twisted noodles always satisfies my Thai cravings on Sunday afternoons when most Thai restaraunts are closed. The atmosphere is casual and quiet and offers a nice place to wind down with a nice meal alone or with friends. I usually get the Penang curry, because it is so warm, soothing, and full of flavor. Service is always great, and I have never had to wait too long for food.

Drunken noodle had an "eggy" taste to it. Seasoning was indistinct, generic, and Americanized.

The décor and ambiance were inviting and chic, and we were not disappointed. We started with the brussel sprouts appetizer. I was intrigued by the description since I'd never had dried apricot in brussel sprouts before, and I was pleasantly surprised. The apricots and pickled onion worked beautifully together. For my entrée, I ordered the beef bulgogi. OMG--the flavors were out of this world. It was seasoned to perfection, and the portion was generous enough that I had leftovers, which is always a win. My only minor complaint is that the cocktails were on the weaker side, but definitely not a deal breaker. Jujube is officially on my list of go‑to restaurants whenever I'm in the Chapel Hill area.

The restaurant is a chill vibe and the tables are spaced out nicely. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. We had a tough time deciding because there were so many options we wanted to try. We decided on the BBQ Pork Belly dumplings (10/10 and I don't really like pork), Beef short rib and goat cheese wontons (47/10 unbelievably delicious), Pan-Seared Crab & Shrimp Cakes (7/10), chicken Kung pao (8/10), and we also got the cucumbers. The food was absolutely delicious and we brought home leftovers. Never made it to the dessert menu because we were so full. We can't wait to go back!

It was a short walk from our lovely hotel (the Carolina Inn), but started raining when we first walked out the door so we called an uber which was a very short ride. We were seated right after arriving and I had a nice glass of wine and my daughter a diet coke a few minutes later. The menu looked like a sharing type of meal so we opted for: - pork & chive dumplings: yum - spring rolls: tasty, but my stomach (as always) regretted the fried food the next day - bento box: the hit of the meal - shaking beef: i thought pretty good, but my daughter wasn't a huge fan The service was good and the food was brought out at the perfect pace. While I'm sure their dessert is yummy we opted to walk down Franklin street and enjoy some Ben & Jerry's after dinner since the weather had cleared up.

On a recent visit, our family started off with an delicious order of Pork & Chive Dumplings, while I enjoyed a perfectly prepared Old Fashioned from the bar. For our entrees, we shared plates of tender Shaking Beef tasty Sticky Rice and succulent Pork Ribs, all paired with a fabulous Pinot from the restaurant's impressive selection. Service was outstanding throughout our visit, and Lantern's softly lit, intimate setting makes it the perfect spot for a date night or just to escape the Carolina heat. Everything about our visit was wonderful, and the prices were more than reasonable for a meal of this caliber. An amazing find in Chapel Hill!
