Butter Caramel Cookie (I think it's one of May's flavor of the month)
    Shanna F.

Today is the 2nd time I've been here. The first time was not long after the grand opening & it was packed & loud & it wasn't my vibe for getting cookies in the afternoon lol today is my son's birthday & he's not a fan of cake, so I thought I'd try Twisted Sugar again & do some fancy cookies as a cake alternative. I was there at probably 3:45 and there was a woman and her son as the only other customers. Waaaay more my vibe haha the cashier was so nice and we had a nice friendly conversation. My 6 pack of cookies were ready so fast! I didn't get to eat any while they were still warm, I just ate the May special Butter Caramel I believe it was, it is super sweet & crumbly. I picked the cotton candy & sprinkles for my son and he didn't care for the frosting. I also got a couple peanut butter but haven't tried them. I didn't get a smoothie this time, which I remember I did get the 1st time & now I'm kind of regretting it because I do remember liking the smoothie! It's not horrible and if you're into bakeries or sweets it's definitely worth checking out.

Just ok! Great service and lots of selection, but overall they don't have any depth of flavor, and aren't special enough to justify the calories. It was a fun treat to order a selection and try a slice of each one, but they all sort of taste like sugar cookies with artificial flavor dropped in. I'd say they rate a G, for generic. Nothing a home baker couldn't duplicate.

My wife and I stopped in here today to try some cookies. This is a very new business; everything is clean and bright; it was very busy with a line out the door. We tried six different cookies; Lemon sugar, Salted Carmel Sugar, SugarDoodle, PB Nutella, Lemon Tart and the Banana Cream. After sampling all six, we were both of the same opinion that three of the cookies were undercooked; I would surmise there are a few operational details to iron out as a new business. The frosting on all six cookies were delicious.

    Yummmmy!!!

Yummmmmy!!! These cookies are different than any place you've ever been and oh so good!!! Totally worth the visit!

Piña colada twister w banana creme, cookies and cream, raspberry lemon, crinkle, nutella on pb, and a twister classic (total $19)

Cute cookie and soda fountain spot that is really busy, probably due to it being new. Waited for about 15 minutes for our order, but there is ample seating (maybe thirty seats or so) and a fireplace. Getting a six pack of cookies (~$14) is a good deal if you end up getting more of the "indulgent" cookies which are more expensive individually than the basic cookies. Got the banana creme (my favorite, tastes like a mini icebox pie), cookies and cream, raspberry lemon (looks like omirice lol), crinkle, nutella on a pb cookie, and the classic twister. The classic twister has a lime you sprinkle onto the cream cheese-tasting frosting. The crinkle was like eating a fudgy brownie--not what I expected for some reason. The cookies' bases were seemingly (and purposefully?) semi-baked so they reminded me of cookie dough, which was yummy but also pretty heavy haha they pack the frosting on thick so be prepared for a really sweet treat. I ate them in quarter portions as dessert over the next few days and they surprisingly held up, except the crinkle cookie which hardened within a day. The piña colada smoothie (~$5 for a large) feels like a good bang for your buck bc it's a lot of smoothie, but maybe too sweet to enjoy all the way through. They have a bunch of soda mixed drinks that look interesting. Overall, not bad but probably won't be frequenting too often bc the long wait and because my sweet tooth isn't thaat sweet haha. Seems like a perfect treat to share w friends or at the office though!

Twisted Sugar is an absolute treat for anyone in the Spokane area. I would argue to say they have the best cookies in town. We come here frequently for special treats for the little ones when they get to pick out a specialty cookie. Always changing flavors is a fun treat. Super friendly staff and nice to have the drive-through as an option to dine in. I highly recommend anyone in the area check out this place - it's sure to make your day a little sweeter!

The soda flavor needs more flavor, just tasted like milky sprite with no flavor. I have hopes for them that they could do better!!

Lots of choices and had taken a dozen to try as many as possible. Sugar high was there but I don't think I'll be back.

There are also warm food options to order. The staff was friendly and upbeat and answered my questions about the baked goods and food. I selected the ginger crinkle and was not disappointed. It was so flavorful and rich with real ginger you could see. I came back the next day for another one. There is street parking but it can be limited when times are busy. There is space to sit and enjoy your food. And there are some neat shops to check out nearby. Highly recommend!

The quality of ingredients tasted really fresh and thoughtful, and they have a surprisingly wide variety of nutritious options. I don't have a chance to try it, but their selection of savory entree plates were very impressive (see my photos pleaseeee), and they also serve delicious soup as well. But the highlight was their baked goods, 100% gluten free at a very reasonable price for the portion and quality. This place is inside Saranac Commons, very pretty and is a good place to slow down for lunch or coffee. Staff were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. Definitely a place I'd come back to whenever I'm in Spokane.

The dining room was almost empty when I walked in, and no one greeted me. They were playing some Kanye west music behind the counter so I thought there'd be some livelihood but... there wasn't. One of the younger employees who took my order was fine but you could tell he didn't want to be there and the person at the register seemed like they didn't really want to be there either. They weren't outright rude, but the interaction definitely wasn't welcoming and both of them mumbled and spoke so low, I had to ask them both multiple times what they were saying. I ordered two donuts and a cup of coffee, which came to $7.35. For what was a Keurig coffee with basic shelf-stable creamer, it felt overpriced. On the positive side, the donuts were good. You can tell they're handmade, and they had a nice taste. They were definitely the highlight of the visit. Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the recommendations I'd heard, but I expected a Saturday morning at such a well-known donut shop to have more energy and atmosphere. Instead, it felt surprisingly underwhelming and lacked the welcoming vibe I was hoping for. Overall, the donuts were solid, but nothing about the experience made me eager to come back. I don't regret trying it, but I also don't really understand the hype.
