Great donuts! But...I know that costs are increasing for everyone. I have made the same weekly order for the past two months (one dozen premium and one dozen old fashions. The price has always been the same for me, $30 for the two dozen. However, today the price increased to a total of $40 for the same products. I asked the young woman if this was a mistake and was told this was the new price. I sorry, but this is a HUGE jump in cost that I can no longer afford. I'm going to try and put a positive spin on this as I like the owners, the donuts taste great, and the place is always clean. They always have a great selection of donuts--fresh, fluffy, and delicious. We've been a couple of times and consistently had a good experience with the quality of the treats. The owner can come across as a bit socially awkward--not unfriendly, just more neutral than welcoming. It's nothing off-putting, just something we've noticed. We arrived for the Apple Pie and the filled peanut butter donuts but both were sold out. Instead of saying they couldn't help us they created 1 of each for us so we could try them. We were so grateful and both were so good. We also got the lemon filled and a traditional with chocolate. The traditional was so tall and fluffy and just delicious. We also love the orange buttermilk. They have a great texture and we appreciate they aren't overly sweet, just nicely balanced. Now imagine that in donut form, with the bestest flavor. I've never had a donut better than Krispy Kreme and I know you're probably thinking "that's low standards" but hear me out. I love the fluffy moist aspect of Krispy Kreme and have never had a donut like that aside from them. This store doubles that taste, maybe even triples it.
