I'm going to try and put a positive spin on this as I like the owners, the donuts taste great, and the place is always clean. Size wise, especially the chocolate bars, have to be the healthiest in town. That said, we'll keep coming back as they have fun specials and like I said, they still taste great.

The BEST donuts we've ever had. Got a buttercream with chocolate frosting, a coffee cake with buttercream filling, and Samoa, and an old fashioned with coffee cake topping. Out of this world. 4 donuts for $5 too! And the service was exceptional!

    Best Apple Fritter - ever!

One of my guilty pleasures is apple fritters. I'm almost always disappointed and just don't buy them anymore. If we do want one , our go to place for *never* disappointing doughnuts and fritters are the Top Pot ones here (Seattle). We saw this little Donuts To Go place on North Division In Spokane and love to support small & local when we can. BEST apple fritters - ever! Big, clumpy, golden brown, crispy with apples you can actually taste. Super nice guy and great service. There are several little tables if you want to eat there. TRY them! Limited hours - open early and close at noon.

We arrived for the Apple Pie and the filled peanut butter donuts but both were sold out. Instead of saying they couldn't help us they created 1 of each for us so we could try them. We were so grateful and both were so good. We also got the lemon filled and a traditional with chocolate. The traditional was so tall and fluffy and just delicious. We also love the orange buttermilk. They have a great texture and we appreciate they aren't overly sweet, just nicely balanced. This day was extra sweet as their kids were filling orders and running the register I love a family business.

My family was just in Spokane visiting my daughter at Gonzaga for the weekend. I love bakeries, fresh donuts, and pastries and looked for a place to go. I'm a big Top Pot fan and wanted to find something similar to what I find in Seattle. DONUTS TO GO was AWESOME! They have a great selection, and I picked up a dozen with a great variety. My family and I loved them. So fresh and delicious. She gave the leftovers to her college roommates and they all loved them, too. Check them out!

Take a look, my friends, at donut perfection, a maple bar and a maple bacon bar. Fluffy indeed, and they taste fabulous, not too sweet dough with flavorful icings/toppings. Service is always speedy, even when the line stretches out the door. The tunes playing let you know this is a happy place. We love the donuts and we love the donut guy.

Made me a Persian/Pershing donut this morning with all the sprinkles I could ever want! Thank you!

My wife saw the owners daily Facebook post and shared with me and we were hooked. Thank goodness my daughter attends Gonzaga University #GoZAGS! We visit every time we are in Spokane now. The ambiance is clean, friendly and the owner and I f you are lucky enough his son is there to greet you. The donuts are awesome, pricing a very reasonable. Visit their Facebook page and you will want to find this gem of a donut hole LOL . Seriously when in Spokane you gotta go grab their daily special. We had the Kinder donut yesterday along with a fritter and coconut glazed, cherry glazed with sprinkles and some bear claws. Go early as they sell out quickly

These pillows of fried dough are as fluffy as can be.

To add on top of their incredibly soft, fluffy, and flavorful donuts, Donuts To Go has some of the best customer service we've encountered in Spokane. Plus, their prices are extremely reasonable for the level of quality you get with these morsels of goodness. If you're not getting your donuts from Donuts To Go, I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but my donuts ain't one. (Jay-Z may or may not have uttered those exact words)

There are also warm food options to order. The staff was friendly and upbeat and answered my questions about the baked goods and food. I selected the ginger crinkle and was not disappointed. The quality of ingredients tasted really fresh and thoughtful, and they have a surprisingly wide variety of nutritious options. I don't have a chance to try it, but their selection of savory entree plates were very impressive (see my photos pleaseeee), and they also serve delicious soup as well. But the highlight was their baked goods, 100% gluten free at a very reasonable price for the portion and quality. This place is inside Saranac Commons, very pretty and is a good place to slow down for lunch or coffee. Staff were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. Definitely a place I'd come back to whenever I'm in Spokane.

The dining room was almost empty when I walked in, and no one greeted me. They were playing some Kanye west music behind the counter so I thought there'd be some livelihood but... there wasn't. One of the younger employees who took my order was fine but you could tell he didn't want to be there and the person at the register seemed like they didn't really want to be there either. They weren't outright rude, but the interaction definitely wasn't welcoming and both of them mumbled and spoke so low, I had to ask them both multiple times what they were saying. I ordered two donuts and a cup of coffee, which came to $7.35. For what was a Keurig coffee with basic shelf-stable creamer, it felt overpriced. On the positive side, the donuts were good. You can tell they're handmade, and they had a nice taste. They were definitely the highlight of the visit. Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the recommendations I'd heard, but I expected a Saturday morning at such a well-known donut shop to have more energy and atmosphere. Instead, it felt surprisingly underwhelming and lacked the welcoming vibe I was hoping for. Overall, the donuts were solid, but nothing about the experience made me eager to come back. I don't regret trying it, but I also don't really understand the hype.
