It's such a humiliating experience when you know you have short course hair and you walk into a salon and the owner and staff talk over you because they think you're American and don't understand. This doesn't make it okay for them to talk about your hair in front of you all the time while smiling at you while they style your hair. This salon does a great job on my hair, but I won't be going back because of how humiliating it is to be talked over and for the owner to take a picture of my hair when she thought I didn't see it.

During my appointment she was nice, funny, and allowed me to relax. I never have a good experience with getting braids, even weaves done in the DC/MD area, typically the braider is rude, they pull your hair, and just overall very very unprofessional but Dina was the complete opposite. They often will use a flat iron (or try to use it) even if you request the opposite. 5. The price varies even if you always do the same service. Sadly, I just can't win with salons in the dmv.
