Tried the hibiscus lemon, a little sweeter than my usual but still tasty. Cold brew with maple added is very good, would recommend! Service is good and greeted us with a smile. Two Bees Cafe is a perfectly hidden gem. If you aren't specifically seeking out the front entryway, you will miss it. Once inside, you will find a spacious, airy, open, indoor/ outdoor American patisserie with a French flair. The back patio is on a deck surrounded by trees and is waterfront on the Cocheco River. You would never know you were in downtown Dover. The pastries are baked to perfection from scratch each morning. The croissants are light and melt-in-your-mouth. We also ordered the "house-cured salmon tartine", which was loaded with an explosion of great complimentary flavors. The coffee menu was extensive. This place went from quiet and intimate to a flurry of activity with friends meeting friends quickly after 8am opening. Service came with a genuine smile. I love this place! read more

Stopped in after walking around a bit in Dover. Walked up and ordered at the counter. We got a chocolate chip cookie, a couple of pastries, and an espresso orange juice spritzer and a cortado. What a great place!... A little hard to find in the back of the building but once you get there it's delightful. He was kind of overcast day but we can't wait to come back on a sunny day when the doors are open to the patio with a beautiful Riverview!. We had the breakfast special sandwich which was a fried egg with arugula, hot pepper jam, cheddar cheese, speck and an aioli. It was delicious. The croissant was light and buttery and we topped it off with a brown sugar oatmeal cookie to die for. She had an oatmeal latte with a shot of almond and I had a mocha. Both were delicious. I arrived early in town to visit Garrison City before it opened, so I looked for a cafe nearby. Two Bees Cafe was highly rated. It's a cute cafe in a condo building. Everyone is super nice. It's not a big cafe but I was able to find a seat. For a latte, I chose the Orange Blossom Spiced Latte. It was mostly spiced, no orange flavor. The flavor syrups are very few choices but maybe they have more specials other than my first visit. I really liked the sandwiches. They were a bit expensive, but great flavor. The bread was amazing quality for both. The North Country Smoked Turkey is loaded with turkey. The Ham and Raclette is a little messy to eat but lots of flavor! Overall, would go back! read more

It was quite busy and it is a small place if you can't sit outside. You can buy everything to go though Because of the limited indoor seating, it was hard seeing people working on their computers for long periods of time though. We'll definitely go back. read more

Atmosphere is great. Large windows with view of the river really gave off a great vibe. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. I can tell it was crafted well with intention. Look at how pretty it all is. Out of the 4 my favorites were the jammy egg brioche which had great flavor. And the pistachio almond cake. The pannacotta was good but I'm not a fan of freeze dried strawberries. The scones was flaky but I didn't taste much jalapeño in it. The only remark and why I didn't give a 5 star was service. The person that took our order looked like a deer in the headlights. I know it's a new business, this person looked relatively young. However, when they asked us 4-5 different times what we ordered even though we were pointing and saying their names as listed on the labels and they just had no idea. Shows that maybe they need a bit more education on the food offerings. If it was another person other than us ( we've both worked food service) they probably would have gotten some rude pushback. No customer wants to be asked 4-5 times what we want to order because the person at the register either wasn't paying attention or doesn't know the menu. read more

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while we were in the area for a short getaway after our wedding. The cafe is so cute, bright, adorably decorated with plenty of green plants and natural sunlight, and the staff is very friendly. The coffee is excellent, the quiche is one of the best we've ever had, and the Pimento Jammy Egg Brioche Bun was delicious, but the real show stopper was the Earl Grey Morning Bun which is a true triumph in texture and perfectly balanced flavors. The outside is crispy and flakey and the inside is chewy and impossibly tender - it practically melts in your mouth. It's covered in sugar but is just sweet enough and has the subtle earthy-floral flavors of Earl Grey tea without it being overpowering. My husband lived in Norway for a couple of years so he was in heaven to find such a high-quality morning bun outside of Scandinavia. We found this place on our first day and came back again a few days later before heading out of town for more morning buns.
