Came here at the perfect time with my partner. There was no line, and we managed to snag a window seat (out of the 5 total available seatings). The area overall is quite small, if it wasn't obvious yet (ahem.. Yelp El33ters). It fits the New England vibe very well, with the ocean themed merchandise sold next to the window display for the pastries. I ordered a hot 12oz Mocha, with a breakfast sandwich with the choice of bacon and a fluffy English Muffin. And I was absolutely blown away at the flavor of this breakfast sandwich.. the egg was cooked just enough to allow for a runny yolk, with a creamy aioli that perfectly combines with the crispy, bacon and the salty melted slice of cheddar cheese. I did not feel any need to add any more salt or pepper, as the entire sandwich was made to perfection. Truly an underrated gem of a cafe in New Hampshire.

First time on the east coast...we stopped here for a bathroom break...felt guilty and so we ordered some food. Great move on our part. I got the quiche and it was good. Everyone liked the food they ordered. Parking was not the best but who cares. Service was good and was a very cozy place.

Bacon, egg, and cheese on a English with a little kick in it. Very good. Very cute a variety of pastries.

Excellent little Café! Definitely will be going back! With a little spice to it. Very good coffee, variety of baked goods.

HOW HAVE I NOT BEEN HERE SOONER?!? The Islander Cafe is the place to be on the New Hampshire coast for delicious pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. We ordered a glazed donut, bacon egg and cheeses, and coffee. The donut was moist and fresh. The breakfast sandwich had homemade bread, high quality bacon, a freshly cooked egg, and a homemade aioli on it. Hands down the best cafe around. Even though I live 30 minutes away, I will be making the drive here because it's worth it! Also note that on weekends, parking can be difficult as there are only a few spots out front!

Great little healthy cafe with baked goods too, in a beautiful enclave in New Hampshire. The people who work there are great as well.

A very quaint and cute little restaurant in the area. Staff here was very friendly and the food was solid. They made a couple mistakes on our sandwiches but fix them fairly quickly. A nice surprise. Was the coffee, excellent flavor and depth to it. They have parking in front and a side area with a couple of tables, and a windy day though pollen and debris will fall in your food.

To me, the Best part was the WPF Bread store on the other side. Their bread is the BEST! And here there were many flavors I'd never seen before. Plus they were having a 2/1 sale so only $4.50 per delicious loaf. I left w a granola-blueberry and a chocolate-chocolate chip. The orange-cranberry was fantastic but I thought had more sugar. The staff was nice here too. I wish the store was closer to my home! The outside area was very attractive also.

Plenty of lot parking so that's always a plus. We walked in on Friday for lunch and it was fairly full but we were seated quickly and orders taken. Very rustic ambience and service was quick. Unfortunately, the food was just ok and didn't knock my socks off. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, pork belly steam buns and the margherita pizza. Brussels were fried nicely but the ginger sesame sauce was very strong and I would probably preferred the sauce on the side. Pork belly buns were just ok as well. We were here for the pizza so were excited to try it - pizza unfortunately was just ok as well. Food is subjective and always based on preference so please take this review with a grain of salt - pizza was a bit doughier than I'd like - I prob should've asked for it to be well done if even possible and the sauce tasted heavy on the oregano - not something I'm a big fan of. All in all - not bad but not great. I just had such high expectations - maybe a different pizza might've changed my mind. But def don't skip out on going next door to try some samples and get some bread - the bread is amazingly delicious.

Yum! Yum! Chicken salad!…read more Stopped here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the place had plenty of seating. We decided to dine in their nice patio area because it was such a nice day out. Everything on their menu looked delicious and I couldn't decide between a burger or a sandwich. The nice waiter recommended their chicken salad and since I was already looking at that sandwich it made my choice easier. My bf got their Cuban sandwich and since neither entrees came with fries we decided to share an order of their thick cut fries. They also have a variety of beers on tap and canned beverages. I went with one of their local draft dark beers and it was very good. When the food came out it looked very appetizing. Their house coleslaw was extra delicious and super crunchy. The chicken salad tasted great and it was very well seasoned and I really loved the big chunks of chicken! The Cuban sandwich was also very good from the one bite I stole from my boyfriend. And the fries were soooo good! I was a perfect lunch date!

I found them on Yelp, and highly rated, so that was enough for me !! Not a huge menu, but we easily found what we wanted. The burgers were on the slightly smallish side (compared to others I've had), but they were delicious, and with the accompanying fries for me and onion rings for him, we certainly didn't walk away hungry. The "classic" burgers that we ordered were well represented with the ingredients we like (beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle with some "hush" sauce - essentially thousand island dressing). We loved every bite !! We'd return here in a heartbeat, so if ever we're up in that area, we'll be getting those burgers again. Yummm.
