Wonderful pork chop lunch the other day. Mac and cheese was yummy too. Sweet cornbread and dessert too. Can't beat them for lunch

Very nice people. They have the best hamburger steaks around. We have only used their takeout service and it's easy and quick.

So this bill came to 18.51 which in my mind is a little pricey for me. The food came out at 5:18 so that was only 10 minutes. The burger was big and it was juicy Buck on a scale of 1 to 10. It's not a 10 and it's definitely not a zero for me. Pretty bland in flavor but very edible. What that means. A lot of people might like it like that. Personally, I want a little bit more flavor in my burger. Now would I go there again for the price of $18 and I did not choose to get a drink. I personally can pick just about any place give or take a dollar or two. And when I say I would not choose to go there, I might try The other two fast food restaurants in this place. So there you have it. No negatives on the place. Just pricey. The help was very friendly. Place look clean. Make your own call on this one.

I had to walk all the way to the back after waiting for five minutes for someone to come to the front and when I walk to the back, noticed that the workers were sitting on their phones on the table very unprofessional way to run a business and then when I did pick up the queso, I noticed that it was very small and size compared to other restaurants to go large size queso dip, especially since it was $10. We'll be taking my business elsewhere next time absolutely love the one on Pot train though.

First time I went to Cantaritos was 3 months ago. I had Beef Fajita Nachos & flavorful refreshing Cucumber Margaritas which I'll never forget...totally amazing! I recently revisited Cantaritos since I was in town again. Once you walk in, you are immediately greeted. Once seated, complimentary homemade chips & salsa is served. Queso dip is also served complimentary on Monday & Wednesday. The chips are perfect, light & crispy. Salsa & queso are just as tasty! It was time to explore the menu, so I decided to order the Carne Asada. I gotta admit, It was the best Carne Asada I've had in a very long time. The meat was perfectly prepared, tender & full of flavor. Rice was good, but I was especially impressed with the Charro Beans....so good! I would highly recommend the Carne Asada to anyone! So after two awesome memorable dining experiences at Cantaritos, I'll be looking forward to much more visits!

3.5 stars. I had a…read morerandom craving for falafel. That's an easy enough craving to fix in New Orleans, but in Slidell? Not so much. I did some searches, found this place on Google, and decided to give them a shot. I was ordering for multiple people, so I ended up getting 2 po-boys, a falafel wrap, and baklava. One of the people who got a po-boy said it wasn't regular mayo on the po-boy, but rather either tahini or tzatziki. Now mind you, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but could be jarring for someone not expecting it. The falafel and baklava were mine. I thought that the falafel wrap was good: flavorful and saucy. It was a bit messy, but I seem to always make a mess when eating falafel sandwiches. I was excited about the baklava, but unfortunately it wasn't very good. Maybe it had been sitting for a while, I don't know, but the flaky pastry had lost some of its flakiness/crispiness and had become a bit chewy instead. One odd thing is that you get your food bagged at the checkout counter, which is separate from the food counter. This doesn't sound bad in theory, but meant I ended up carefully holding 3 hot sandwiches, a small takeout container, and a menu while waiting in line at the checkout counter. The man at the register was very friendly though, and recommended their chicken shawarma; I'll have to try that at some point. It bears mentioning that along with food and typical convenience store items, this place also has a meat counter/market. They sell things like raw steaks, ground meat, turkey wings, pork necks, chicken drumsticks, sausage, etc.

Unfortunately, it gave me flashbacks to the other location in Slidell that was less than impressive... The quality of the food wasn't consistent and we had a long wait, nearly 30 minutes longer than the projected time they'd be done. But I think part of the problem was how few employees they staffed at one time--a whopping 4. Anyway, we ordered the 24 piece bone-in meal deal. The fries were seasoned well because I requested extra fry seasoning as a precaution. They were the only things seasoned well. I got the lemon pepper wings as the first flavor option. It tasted like a whisper of lemon and oil. That's it. My best friend ordered the Mexican street seasoning on their portion of the wings, but again the seasoning wasn't there. My husband ordered the Cajun wings and said they were just okay. I'll come here again during different hours to see if they can do a better job with less of a crowd. It's a new location and I know it isn't easy starting out. I hope that they'll find their groove, because Wing Stop is bussin' bussin' and I know it can be so much better!
