We stopped by for dinner on the way to a show at Rock River Rep Theatre, they had a wait in the main dining room, but the hostess offered us a seat next door, at the Red Baron. What a treat! We both had the fish fry, it was the best fish fry I have had in a long time. The french fries were hot and crisp and tasty. The fish had beautiful batter, but still a nice piece of fish inside. I was in Edgerton this morning (Sat Jan 16) for business and brought along my wife and daughter. After concluding the business venture, we shopped at a few places (despite the cold) and ended up at Two Brothers for lunch. My daughter, the vegetarian ordered a grilled cheese. My wife ordered the Portabella burger and a cup of vegetable beef soup, while I ordered the Gyro with extra meat (I'm still no carbing). Oh and we ordered the fried green beans as a starter. Fried green beans came out right away and were very good - not overly battered and very tasty. The soup arrived next but didn't have any meat in it (vegetable beef). My wife mentioned it to the waitress who brought out another bowl filled with beef (prime rib at that). The 'cup' of soup is huge BTW. The grilled cheese got a big thumbs up as it has plenty of cheese and the bread was grilled with a good amount of butter. The Portabella burger was outstanding featuring two large mushrooms. Now for the Gyro. First off, they cut it from a spit so it's nice and fresh (no frozen lamb here). The pieces they cut for me were the largest, thickest pieces of gyro meat I have ever eaten. . And it was cooked to perfection - nice and juicy. I did not need to order extra meat but since I did, I had a ton left over (and I had it for dinner this evening during the Packer-Cardinal playoff game). The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. I just moved to Edgerton about a year ago and I don't know too many people. This is the only bar in town that I don't feel weird going to. I"ve tried others, but I swear I don't get very good service because I am not one of "the regulars." Their wraps are really good, especially the buffalo chicken. They usually have at least a few microbrews on tap, which I like. There can be a lot of Bears and Cubs fans there for some reason. read more

Very cool place to hang out! The waitstaff was friendly! Best bar in town...They have karaoke, DJ's, and bands play throughout the week. They also have a Juke box if there's no one playing.. Small dance floor but do-able. The manager is always running around trying to say hi to friends. The food is delicious!!!! Diverse menu... Drinks are fantastic!!! good prices!!! read more

Best Friday night fish fry in the area (and I am particular). They serve the walleye filet whole, the batter is light and crispy, not greasy at all. I would like to see a larger variety of fish on their menu, like perch and bluegill, but after being served the best walleye I've ever had, I'm not sure I'd order anything else anyway. Best burgers in Edgerton - maybe in Southern WI! Fresh cut fries that are hot, crisp and delicious. The atmosphere is pretty good too - typical bar atmosphere with bar seating and tables in a partially separated room. The only drawback for us is that all of the seats are pub height which makes it tough for some of our older family members. Everything we have gotten here has been great, the salads are big with large fresh peices; the fish is good too. Service is great, it can be slow at times due to being busy. read more

Best bar food I've ever had, simple little place but full of life when it gets going. During the night hours it has a dance floor with music to match, 2 pool tables to entertain and plenty of outdoor space. No parking lot so it's street parking. read more

Best bar in downtown Edgerton for food. I personally love the nachos. Used to be second best til Emigail's stopped doing nachos, now Two Brothers owns the nacho market. Thus used to be more of a bar and grill that we went to and they had good food. They have now converted half the space to more of a restaurant. Every time we have been here lately, the food and service are great. Prime rib is generous in portion and is super tender with great taste. It comes with fresh vegetables and potato. Soups have been good. Lake perch is good. Pizza is good. You get the picture. It has been very busy every time we have been here. We will definitely keep coming back. read more

Great portions and really tasty food. A hidden gem that is a great dinner place while being a warm wood paneled bar. Try the walleye.

It's standard bar & grill food, but I've consistently been impressed at the quality (e.g., to the point that you notice that the tortillas for wraps are really nicely grilled, tightly wrapped, and carefully cut). read more
