Would not buy from them again. The pizza was average. We ended up eating one slice of our large pizza and threw the rest away.

Phone ordered a large pizza and knots. They told me about 30 mins, no problem. We show up and no one there customer wise. The better was possibly the owners son. Owner was on the phone in the back? Order took an additional 10 mins which isn't a problem. By the time we received the food, the knots were burnt at the bottom and lukewarm. Pizza was also slightly burnt at the bottom. I understand things happen but it just seemed like lack of attention. The dad never came out from the back, son(?) completed everything. I've been eating Moes on and off since moving to San Marcos two years ago. Tonight I ordered six wings and a 12" inch supreme pizza on Door Dash. The bill came out to $42 and wow was it disappointing. The chicken was so over cooked. Tasted like they cooked it and then just rewarded it. My toddler took one bite and spit it out. I tried to eat a couple but they were wasted. The pizza itself was the normal tasty dough but the toppings were extremely sparse and scattered. read more

Pizza is not as good as it used to be. It was burnt and they are stingy about the toppings. They also started using low quality ingredients and I did not feel good after eating it. Felt like having some pizza so we thought we'd check Yelp and see if there was somewhere we hadn't been yet and found Moe's. It was a little drive from where we were but worth it once we got there. It's a nice clean place with plenty of tables. We were greeted by Moe himself who was working the front counter. He was very personable and gave us an overview of the place. We even saw the cookies others have mentioned in other reviews and apparently, we lucked out because he said they don't often have the chocolate chip cookies left by Friday night, so we snagged two. Back to the reason we went there in the first place, the pizza. We each chose the Personal meal which consisted of a 12" pizza with one topping, though my daughter added a second topping to hers, and a soda. We also added an order of garlic bites. The pizza and bites were excellent, nice and hot. We dined in and while there noticed they seem to have quite a thriving business with people picking up pizzas, which is always a good sign. They also have a small area on the counter, near the pizza case, where they have little swag from neighboring businesses, helping to promote those as well. I drove all the way to Vista to try their pizza! The giant one would be fun to get if you're sharing with a bunch of people. I got a pizza with pepperoni, ham, and jalapenos for my hubby. For me, I chose pepperoni, sausage, and artichokes. The pizzas do take a while to make, so make sure you're not in a rush. I also ordered some buffalo wings and garlic bites. The pizzas were had a nice amount of toppings and wings were good too. The garlic bites were so cute and had a soft, doughy texture. Not to be missed!!! Eat at Moe's! Found this place on Yelp to go grab some pizzas for dinner for our family reunion. Moe and his bro are very friendly and pizza place was simple and clean. Everything is prepared in house and fresh so expect a little bit of a wait for your order. Service was as expected. Remember this is Moe's GIANT Pizzas. You do yourself a disservice ordering small pizzas, you want the GIANT pizzas sizes because they are that good! I really love the small town feel of this place! Moe an his brother are absolutely amazing! We stopped by with a few of our friends to have some pizza and we were absolutely blown away by there 28 inch pizza! We were able to put four different toppings on top. Got to try Moe's for the first time, and I'm glad I did. I ordered just a personal pepperoni, and it was a solid pizza. The pepperoni tasted fresh, the dough tasted really good and just the right amount of cheese & sauce. Also felt it had just the right level of thickness, and I didn't leave feeling bloated after eating it. Would easily be a 5 star but the pricing threw me off. I initially wanted to order online, but they had a random $1.99 service fee for ordering online. Upon ordering in person, it was actually more expensive than the online order, even when including the service fee. I also saw that they had a special where I could have gotten a larger pizza and free drink for $1 less than what I paid. I ultimately feel I overpaid for what I received, but I would try it again now knowing the deal offerings. read more

We tried 2 of the 12" pizzas: Chicken Pesto- pesto base, chicken, spinach, parmesan & mozzarella Abe's Special- pizza sauce base, ground beef, green peppers, jalapeños, onions,& bbq sauce drizzle Both of these were so good! Their dough is made in house and has a nice chewy texture. It's done NY style so it's thin and foldable too. The pizza itself lacks sauce and flavor. The garlic rolls were burned on the bottom. The calzone was extremely greasy. I'm not a big pizza eater, so when I do eat pizza, I only want the best. Today, that was Moe's Giant Pizza. We walk by all the time and decided to stop in today. First...the owners are fantastic. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation while waiting for our pizza. Such warm, friendly, welcoming young men. The food....exactly what I was wanting. The garlic knots/rolls were hot, fresh and drowning in aromatic, flavourful chunks of garlic. The pizza was just as wonderful. We had a great experience here! We ordered the giant pizza (it's called Moe's Giant Pizza, what else are we gonna do?), a dozen chicken wings, and some garlic bread. I didn't personally taste the chicken wings, but the pizza and the bread were both excellent. The crust is some of the best pizza crust I've had. More than just the quality of the food though, the owners were extremely helpful and kind. They answered all of my questions in a friendly way and just made me feel really welcome when I came in. We don't live in the area, we just looked up a pizza place with good reviews as we were leaving Legoland. But we will definitely be back anytime we come back to Legoland, and we'll recommend this place to any of our friends headed out this direction also. Truly a great experience! 10/10.
