After another jaunt to the VA Clinic in Anthem, my family and I were looking for a good breakfast place (fasting is NEVER fun).What to do? I know...TO THE YELP-MOBILE!!! Granted, being organic and local, they were slightly more expensive than you'd see at a chain restaurant. But, with that increased price came INCREDIBLE portions! As an example, my wife ordered whole grain banana pancakes as a side to her actual meal. In hindsight, this was a delicious mistake. The pancakes were as big as frisbees! I know the picture doesn't do them justice as there's no real point of comparison, but trust me...they're gargantuan. As a matter of fact, I've been secretly munching on the leftovers from these pancakes throughout this review! Organic, locally grown, no chemicals or hormones!! This place is really good! My wife got the French Toast and More and I got the Biscuits an Gravy. You can tell everything is made fresh with high quality ingredients and food. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Anthem AZ! This place is on a completely different level then almost all the other restaurants in Anthem. The owner seemed really nice and the service was great. We stopped by for breakfast on Saturday, but were not very impressed. Server was slow in seating us, even when there were lots of tables available. My pancake was small and overcooked, very dry. One small container of butter the size of a quarter teaspoon was provided with a tiny plastic container of odd tasting syrup. Hash browns were a standard shredded square, cooked on the outside but cold inside. You may pay more at Rock Springs, but the quality and portions are much better. read more

The Black Canyon City location is so great. You'll get AMAZING service, excellent grub (I'm partial to the Ruben myself), and you'll meet some great people. Burgers made with antibiotic free and hormone free beef are very hard to find these days, which is why I enjoy the burgers at Two Brothers Kitchen. I enjoy breakfast as well and often order their classic Eggs Benedict with hollandaise. The coffee is great too because it doesn't taste over roasted and bitter. Portions sizes are good. I came in because Nick always comes in my shop and tells me I have to try his eatery so on my day off I took my lady here for a nice brunch and loved the service to the cooking it was fantastic Thank you so much for this great experience only thing was I went when you were not working nick! We stopped here on a Saturday while we were waiting for the outlet mall to open. It was full inside. They told us it would be a minute as they just needed to clean a table off. The inside isn't very big and feels a bit congested when you enter due to the register and counter area being just inside the door. We opted to sit on the patio and were taken to a table right away. The menu offers breakfast along with burgers, salads and sandwiches for lunch. Almost everything is served with country potatoes, which I generally don't eat. Or, for an extra $2.25 you could substitute fruit, which I thought was a lot to add cost wise. The 'light starters' consisted of yogurt, fruit or granola. None of which sounded appealing. While none of these things were a huge problem, it turned me off a bit before I even ordered. So, I ended up getting the Basic American with two eggs, country potatoes and wheat toast. Aside from the fact that I couldn't find anything I really wanted, what I did order was cooked and seasoned nicely. I didn't want the potatoes, but I tried them and they were good. The toast was a nice thick slice and came with a side of homemade jam. That was the best part of the meal. The eggs were cooked to order. Our server did a great job. She was very attentive even though we were on the patio. The food is fresh and tasty. Very good service. Because there are so few non-chain or fast food options in the Desert Hills/Anthem area, we gave this another shot and I'm glad we did. Service was prompt and friendly and lunch was delicious. First and last time eating here!! Unless you enjoy bugs crawling on your plate, I would definitely NOT eat here!! Two strikes and they're done for me. Food might be okay but the people in there not so great. First time was super slow service. This time the manager, or at least I'm assuming he was, was totally rude. As we were getting seated he came running out of the back yelling "no, this gentleman was waiting for that booth". Mind you the guy walked in with us. There was no waiting. And to give a booth to one solo guy when larger parties were waiting was not right. Obviously a friend of the manager. Guess he thought it was "his personal booth". The manager or owner, whoever he was, is classless and rude. Bad business practice. You don't come off like that at a restaurant in front of people. I was there 2/27/2023. We were helped by a young waitress and she was extremely rude. I ordered 1 blueberry pancake and she brought me 2. I told her when she served the food that I only ordered one. She told me she would adjust the bill. I went to pay and asked her why she did not correct the receipt and she yanked the receipt from my hand and became very angry. Shame on her for being who she is! The pancakes were not very good either. I barely ate the, The pancake tasted like cardboard. I will never return to this place. So I usually don't do this but I went to lunch yesterday with my husband and our bill was over $40 I had an 11/$12 sandwich and he had a spinach ham cheese omelette we had unsweetened iced tea. Two Brothers has always been our favorite breakfast spot. My Canadian heritage loves the pea meal canadian bacon here. Today I went for my birthday and favorite Canadian Benedict. Unfortunately, today was not a good day for it.... the hollandaise sauce looked like cheese sauce and had zero flavor. Then when we got our bill we had a $2.50 upcharge for fruit instead of potatoes, when the waitress asked what side we wanted the extra charge was not mentioned. I guess our bad for not reading the menu. It seemed like there were less potatoes than usual also, but they are very good. The food was ok. I ordered the blueberry cakes and it was very dry, I had to use a lot of syrup to make it moist. It was a bit over priced as the cakes didn't come with any sides. Well that was just awesome!!! Was at the park with my dog on this gorgeous Saturday morning and was jonesing for a yummy breakfast! Yelp told me there was a place right across the street so that's where I headed. Not wanting to leave my fluffy pal in the car, I asked if their patio was dog friendly. Today we decided to eat lunch here because the hours posted on the door states that they are open until 2:30. We walked in at 1:20 and immediately our server at the pay station looked at her watch and seemed irritated that we came in to eat. I ordered a half sandwich and a cup of soup which was just okay. The black bean and sausage soup was strangely sweet and the tuna sandwich was pretty bland. My husband ordered the California sandwich and hashbrowns, because they do not have fries, which were cold and obviously left over from breakfast. Our server never came to check on us so we didn't have a chance to tell her. Additionally, we never received our check so we stood for about five minutes at the cashier stand waiting to check out. She finally came out from the kitchen and at the last minute asked how things were after she gave us a bill for over $32. We told her our concerns and she just said, "I'll let him know." Well, "him" was in eye sight, but she didn't make an effort to call him over to tell him out the condition of the food. You could tell that everyone couldn't wait to close so they could go home. Additionally, the air conditioning seemed to be on full blast and it was extremely cold in there (it was 60 degrees outside). Makes you think they were trying to freeze us out with more than their attitudes. This review is based on our experience for lunch; maybe they should consider sticking to breakfast. read more

My family and I are on vacation and we found this place and thought it looked good! I ordered the egg whites with potatoes and it was a very nice breakfast that got me energized to go hiking! The service was not the best, my husband was finishing up his meal when the server just came and took his food when he wasn't even finished!! We waited till he came back with the check and he just zoomed away before we could tell him about taking the food.
