My family and I are on vacation and we found this place and thought it looked good! I ordered the egg whites with potatoes and it was a very nice breakfast that got me energized to go hiking! The service was not the best, my husband was finishing up his meal when the server just came and took his food when he wasn't even finished!! We waited till he came back with the check and he just zoomed away before we could tell him about taking the food. First time going here at 9:30 on Saturday morning. Chose to sit outside on the patio and then watched the various server staff come and go with no recognition of our existence. Kudos to another server noticing us, asking if we'd been acknowledged and then immediately taking over service for us. (A few minutes later a young lady who was apparently supposed to be our server finally asked if we'd been helped). Our food was delicious and came out quickly. The tasty food and service recovery earned five stars for our experience...and we happily gave a higher tip to our server for seeing a need and handling it. YES.....this place really is great! We met up with out of state family yesterday and based on other reviews, decided to get breakfast here. We were greeted the minute we walked in by the owner.....we had a party of six and we were hungry! They set up a table fast, had a wonderful server and breakfast came out fast and hot! I MUST recommend the Canadian Peameal Bacon.....it's thicker than I am used to having, which was a treat.....they use quality meats and the flavor was perfect. Thanks to the owner and staff for allowing us to linger around for an additional hour, so we could visit, and not rushing us to leave. We will be back for sure! read more

LOVE the daisy mountain skillet, sooo tasty! The wait staff is always very nice. The only recommendations I have is to redo the color scheme.... the colors are weird shades of blue and orange. I feel like I'm at a Bears game lol woot woot da bears haha Also, maybe a couple options on the menu that offer the typical eggs, potatoes and pancakes option.. maybe copy some crackerbarrel menu options. Wow, great restaurant. Really good food. We had the Greek Omelettes which were wonderful. We added the fruit cup and WOW that was delicious, so fresh. Raspberry jelly was also very good. The food at this restaurant has no consistency. I always order the same sandwich every time and it is never prepared the same way. Sometimes they burn the toast, sometimes they forget to toast the bread, ask for lite mayo it comes slathered in mayo, don't mention the mayo and then there's hardly any on there, ask for the bacon to be cooked crisp, it shows up black. Sometimes items are missing even though they charged me extra for it and sometimes they are not. I always place my orders to go so I don't discover these abnormalities until after I get home which is very frustrating. Having said all that my biggest pet peeve is the extremely poor customer service I receive when I call to report missing items that I'm charged for. I get a very combative person arguing with me that I'm wrong and they are right and after an investigation it turns out I was right after all. The manager is a big wuss and won't even deal with the problems, he turns the phone over to the young and inexperienced girl who has no concept of customer service. I couldn't believe after acknowledging the mistakes were their fault this girl still wants to argue with me when I try to explain that this isn't an isolated incident and happens quite often. I guess she needed to feel that she was right and wanted me to know that. She is in desperate need of a customer service class and the manager needs to take ownership when a problem arises and not pass the buck. It really pains me to leave a negative review because the food, when prepared correctly, and the quality is really good. Perhaps this is only a problem with take out orders as I've never dined in but none the less food consistency and receiving good customer service should be the same whether you dine in or take out. read more

We stopped here on a lark heading back in to Phoenix from the north. Meh. We ordered the veggie Benedict and Southwestern omelet. The potatoes we over cooked and weirdly soggy (?). They had an odd flavor in the seasoning that I can't place. There was barely any hollandaise on the Benedict and the eggs were practically raw. So I didn't finish. Husband said the omelet was average and the chorizo was poor quality. Even his rye toast was average. He didn't finish either. Out total bill, including two iced teas and tip was $42. read more

GOOD FOOD, FOLLOWED BY 2 DAYS OF INTENSE VOMITING AND DIARRHEA. THIS RESTAURANT HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Four of us had breakfast there on Friday morning. By Friday evening, two had diarrhea and a third had vomiting so intense that they had to go into urgent care on Saturday morning to receive an anti-vomiting injection and anti-nausea medication. The vomiting lasted until Sunday mid-day. The doctor diagnosed it as food poisoning. Since none of the people had anything to eat within 12 hours prior to eating at Two Brothers and nothing the rest of the day until the vomiting and diarrhea began, it's obvious the food poisoning came from breakfast on Friday. Based upon what we ate, the only lucky soul was the one that ate pancakes. The other 3 had all consumed the meat lovers skillet and/or the breakfast potatoes in common. I tried to contact the owner, but only received a voicemail back after making several calls to the restaurant over a two day period. He said he would call back and never did. I then made additional calls to the restaurant to no avail. You'd think that a restaurant owner would be more concerned when told of the circumstances. It's obvious that they don't care about their customers or food safety at this restaurant. read more

I'd like to give it 3.5 stars. The food was good but it was exceedingly salty. I had to drink water for a day and a half to get it out of my system. This tells me it wasn't sea salt that was air dried. It must've been some other heat dry toxic salt. Coffee was excellent. Food was good but not great. The service was outstanding. Two Bros is A-OK if your looking for breakfast in Anthem. They are locally owned and operated. Service/Location~ 4 stars. they are located in the Safeway shopping center. Food~ 2 stars. we've tried just about everything they make. It's all ok, not the best breakfast but not bad either. The flavors do not live up to the look of what you get when it arrives to your table. Example; scrambled eggs with potatoes, bacon and a side of biscuits and gravy. The eggs were eggs, nothing special here. The potatoes tasted like the cubed potatoes you can get about anywhere and their biscuits were very dry and needed to gravy. Again, it's not bad but if it tasted as good as it looked they would be 5 stars and not 2... This is a solid 3 star place to eat breakfast in the Anthem area. What a fantastic little breakfast here today!! We were in the area and looked up a breakfast spot and were pleasantly surprised with everything about Two Brothers! Nick greeted us as we entered and checked on us before we left. There were lots of regulars that were coming in that everyone seemed to know, and it was nice to see how personable everyone was with them. The entire wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the family feel of this place! Food was wonderful and came out fast! I had the Mediterranean Benedict and my husband had the Southwest Skillet. Both were amazing and I would recommend. Our visit to Two Brothers started alright. We had a party of seven and called ahead to reserve a table. Within three minutes of arriving we were seated and had a server, Kaeti take our drink orders. When she returned with our coffee, she spilled a whole cup of fresh coffee down my husband's shoulder and chest. Accidents happen so we weren't too upset over that, although the coffee scalded his chest and shoulder. The issue we had was that a manager never came to the table to see how he was. The food was ok, but the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were mushy and had no texture. No one in our party actually finished their food for various reasons. Overall 2 stars. read more
