We love this place so much. My husband goes wild over the cream cheese wontons and the milk tea. Every time we have had poke bowl, hibachi plate, sushi burrito, yasai gyoza, veggie spring rolls, vegetable tempura, or salad it's been perfect. The vegetables are fresh and the owners are nice. The little laminated sheets by the register really help us with what can fit in each entree. It's a small shop, but it's always very clean. I ordered Uber Eats from here for lunch on a Saturday, and it was delicious. Naturally, since it was via Uber Eats, I cannot give much feedback on the ambiance or service. I ordered the Poke Poke Bowl and the Gyoza. The order was delivered promptly. The contents were well packaged, but there were no utensils The gyoza was still warm, and the filling was pretty flavorful, along with the sauce. They were pan-fried perfectly, The Poke Poke was fresh but needed some help flavor-wise. I think adding another sauce would take it up a notch. I added the remaining gyoza sauce, which did the trick, but I think a creamy component like an aioli would be an excellent addition. It was a great delivery experience, and I recommend it. read more

We had a record month so HEY let's reward us all with another Mama Poke order. Massive $300 order with 1 hour prep time including multiple special instructions. Everything was perfect. I did not have a good experience here. I requested the 2 protein bowl $11.45 once I got to check out it was almost $14. The staff did not explain what 3 ingredients are free and everything by is an additional charge. Even after I told her I chose one item from each section like the setup display appeared to be broken into sections she said no it's all one section and 3 toppings is the max. So I overpaid without knowing I was being charged. I won't be back. Didn't see her wash her hands. She was not wearing gloves and was talking to other staff members will laughing and breathing on my the open food. I will not be a repeat customer. There are other poke places I visit and enjoy more. I won't be back! Feel riped off and my bowl is not even full. Such a waste of time and money coming here. read more

I had a poke bowl and a couple things stood out. First the restaurant and bathroom were both very clean. I ordered a poke bowl, when filling the bowl any item that was $$ they used very sparingly anything such as cucumbers they put a lot in the bowl. The tuna was previously frozen and not fresh and the shrimp were on the small side. It was a decent poke bowl but not a great poke bowl. I paid $17 for my poke bowl and felt it was pricey for what I received. Last thing I noticed was once I received my order the employee never spoke to me again. I was the only one in the restaurant and she went to the back and started talking to the other employee in the back. Not a big deal but felt like it was a missed opportunity to connect with the customer. How hard is it to say "how is your bowl" or "thanks for coming" when I left. The lady who works here, she was not really diligent, and she acted as if she did not want to wait on anybody because she was too busy doing whatever else she was doing. She wasn't really focused on actually serving the people. And for two regular bowls that you are required to get to proteins, cost me $30 which is absolutely ridiculous for an adult and a child. Unless this is a random splurge, I definitely do not recommend eating here. read more

I got the hibachi steak and shrimp with fried rice. Pretty standard hibachi order for me. Steak was cooked correctly (I get mine medium for hibachi), but lacked that "hibachi" flavor - maybe missing salt or oil? Not sure. Shrimp were large, but also lacking that "hibachi" flavor. Fried rice was terrible, NO flavor at all, only had egg in it. Didn't have any carrots, peas, or any other veggies that you might normally find in fried rice. Just a super bland meal... I will definitely give it another shot as this was my first time there - you never know if they were just having a off day. But for $19.25, I'm not sure I really want to. read more

Very disappointed with this establishment. My family came in and we were not greeted, however, they seemed busy and we proceeded to stand in line. All employees had there heads down working. We stood there 5 min. still not being acknowledged. A woman and child came in after us and stood in line as well. Then a third customer came in and was asked immediately if they were there to pick up an order. He let them know that he was there to place an order. We were still standing there unacknowledged and the employee who asked the customer if he was there to pick up an order proceeded to take his order. At this point we walked out and decided to go to Poke Bros in Gastonia where the customer service is much better. read more
